He saved my Grandfather's life with a procedure that he'd never done before (I don't know if it has been done by anyone). He wasn't afraid to think out side of the box, and he didn't give up on an 86 year old man like a lot of doctors would. He explained everything well and answered all of our questions. The Taylor Family thanks you for everything that you did!

Dr Odis is, in my opinion, extremely competent, very friendly/personable, and "goes the extra mile" to insure his patients understand their condition. He takes adequate time to explain things and seems to genuinely care about his patients well-being. Two thumbs up, way up!

My elderly mother had to travel 50 miles for her appt. When she got there, staff said Jones couldn't see her that day, and nobody informed her of that beforehand. Jones just kind of laughed it off when my mother mentioned it.

This is the kind of doctor everyone wishes they had. He is forthright, whip smart and has studied the art of listening and focusing on the patient’s issues. He is direct and full of information. He is not patronizing or dismissive and he seems delighted to educate you about complicated medical issues concerning not just your heart but other symptoms concomitant with cardiac involvement. He smiles. He is thinking while you are talking. Look forward to deconstructing my medical challenges with him

Dr. Oddis is friendly. His office is incapable of setting up insurance precertifications for surgeries. I was scheduled for a surgery June 15th. Had family come from Florida to watch my children. Took time off work. Went for surgery at Coliseum Medical Center to find that the office associate had not done her due diligence in precertifying my surgery with my insurance company. When Coliseum called my insurance they will need 5-10 more days to precertify. No surgery for me today.

While Dr Jones is a wonderful doctor once you are able to see her, the problem is that my Mother-in-law has waited between 2-4 hours on every appointment. Additionally, the staff was very uncommunicative regarding the situation

Dr. Jones was very compassionate, trustworthy, and honest throughout my father's 29 1/2 years as a heart patient. Ultimately her care helped keep my father alive many years past the life expectancy of a multiple bypass patient, and I was impressed so much with her the few times I saw her with my father, that I talked my husband into seeing her when he was unhappy with his prior cardiologist. She seems to be taking his concerns a lot more seriously than his prior cardiologist. So far, so good!

I was most concerned with having a cardiologist who understands the unique needs of women with heart disease. She is extremely knowledgeable, her calm demeanor is reassuring, and Dr Jones has helped me manage my condition with confidence and little impact on work, play, and family life.
