Review of Dr. Prakash

I rarely do these reviews but I was online searching for a specialist and thought I'd do a review about my primary care doctor, Dr Prakash Griffin. She is great. I've been seeing her for 4 years and she is always friendly and very thorough. She seemed very young when I first met her but as time went on, she took all of my medical concerns seriously and made recommendations that were really helpful. She answers questions online thru the portal and that's helpful too. I have a heart condition and one day I had several questions about my lab results and concerns I had, and she patiently answered all of them. I never feel rushed with her. I'm honestly not a big Emory fan, some of the specialists are somewhat snooty but she's always been a good doctor and I don't mind driving 30 miles to see her. Well I DO mind but I do it anyway. I was frankly surprised at some of the reviews. My advice is to visit her and see what you think. If any doctor is not right for you, you'll know it.

Review of Dr. Anderson

-Atlanta, GA |

I have seen Dr. Anderson on and off for several years. He's rude and sarcastic and will berate patients like they are dogs. Does not listen to patient concerns and does not provide adequate treatment.

Review of Dr. McMillen

- in Everett, WA |

Dr McMillen, is different than other doctors. The reason why I say this it's because he will take the time to figure out what is wrong with you instead of diagnosing you (visually)! I have a client who had a mean doctor. He was unsympathetic and care less and constantly belittled my client. I recommended her to switch to doctor McMillen and she it's so grateful for him and his practice. If I won the lotto today or tomorrow I would beg this doctor to be my entire family's doctor. HE LISTENS!!!!!

Review of Dr. McDaniel

He saved my husbands life by opening up his arterys on the right side and putting in 4 stents when no one else thought it possible. He is always available to address any issues. He recommended Dr NIazi for peripheral vascular disease that he recognized needed to be addressed and it was truly a blessing.

Dr. Halkos has been my husband's cardiologist for over 30 years and we cannot say enough good things about him or his staff.

Review of Dr. Prakash

-Tucker, GA |

bad experience. depriving patient of crucial psychiatric and thyroid functioning drugs over long holiday weekend. I no longer trust her with my care. she has shown reckless abandon and neglect of her patients medical needs. she tarnishes emory's shiny reputation. if you have ongoing prescription needs find another doctor because this one will fail you.

Review of Dr. McMillen

-Mukilteo, WA |

There was very little communication, might be that he is the head of the clinic. I never got follow ups or any information that I didn't have to pry from them. Testing that was done that was very important I got a two sentence letter saying nothing definitive at all. In person he is warm and has a decent bedside manner, but full of excuses as to why things that need to be done aren't yet. Overall the wonderful nurse was better about informing me of what was going on.

Review of Dr. Prakash

- in Atlanta, GA |

Dr. Prakash-Griffin is nice enough and seems to be knowledgeable; however, the office is horrible. I had a very difficult time receiving authorization (never was able to even get an answer...no response) for a prescription refill on blood pressure medicine. After calls from the pharmacy, me and an email, I still received no response and had to find another doctor to maintain the prescription. I was very disappointed with the service provided by Emory doctors.

Review of Dr. Prakash

- in Decatur, GA |

If you have GOOD insurance (meaning you're not receiving Medicare/Medicaid), she's probably a great doctor for you. If, like me, you're disabled and receive Medicare, well, she's nice enough but she won't do much for you. That's Emory for you, though. They really want patients who have fat wallets. Dr. Prakash is okay, I guess. She seems preoccupied with her personal life or something, not as interested in helping one with medical concerns. And she doesn't care about follow-up, either.
