I have been to several neurologist including the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I wish I had found Dr. Bashir earlier. First time I have been out of pain with my headaches. He really listened and his approach worked so far. I would highly recommend him.

After going to several other doctors that could not find a diagnosis, Dr Sampat was able to diagnose and get me treated quickly. After months of suffering, I am better because of her.

Too much to go in to detail. It was a very bad experience and I wouldn't let this guy treat my dog much less me or anyone else I know. OHHH, My MOM saw him and also had an unpleasant experience . He likely caused a delay in her cancer diagnosis. Best advice- See someone else.

I've only had one appointment with Dr. Cabaniss (which was performed online) but so far I am much more satisfied with him than either of my two previous neurologists. Dr. Cabaniss asked many questions about my symptoms and listed patiently to my answers. Afterwards he explained my condition very thoroughly, presented me with several treatment options, and explained the pros and cons of each. Based on his advice I will be changing medications. Time will tell how effective the new medication is, but I feel much more confident in this treatment plan than in my previous one.

A top Johns Hopkins neurologist suggested that I take my husband, who had just been diagnosed by a local neurologist with Parkinson's, to the 'finest Parkinson'sspecialist in the world"--Dr. Mahlon DeLong at Emory. This doctor's expertise took Tom out of a wheel chair, put him back on the golf course and driving. He supported Tom as well as me throughout the years before Tom died of a stroke. Because of his expertise and loving support, I shall always hold him in my heart. Anne Gaudreau Hilton Head Island, S. C.

Neurology
Dr. Bashir successfully diagnosed my rare headache condition and helped me get it under control. I'm now living my normal daily life headache free for the past 18 months. After seeing three different neurologists, having countless tests and imaging done, and almost deciding to give up on myself, I found Dr. Bashir. He spent TIME with me think tanking my situation. This in and of itself in a neurologist is so hard to find: someone who will exceed the 15 minute mark listening to you and talking through things with you. He thinks outside of the "migraine box" that every headache doctor i'd seen beforehand refused to look beyond. I found Dr Bashir while he was at Emory and I don't know where he is practicing now. I wish I did; he is the only neurologist who I'd ever want to see again, but at least thanks to him I have a diagnosis and a management plan. Thank you, Dr. Bashir! I hope you read this, and I hope others who are close to giving up the hope of resolving their headaches read this.

Dr. Sampat and her staff are very knowledgeable, compassionate, and very friendly. Dr. Sampat has been able to get to the bottom of my problems, and with the medication she has me on I have had tremendous relief! I would recommend this office and doctor to everyone!

Dr. Esper did not listen and cut me off every time I tried to speak. He lacks empathy. I have serious problems with sciatica and lower back pain. He put me through a series of exercises that aggravated my lower back pain and had no concern that it was hurting me. He said that my problems might be caused by "deep seated anxiety." His staff did not take a proper history and seemed to be just going through the motions. They run this office like an assembly line. I waited 5 months for this appointment and it was a waste of time. I suggest finding a different doctor. There was nothing positive about this experience.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Sampat and her staff. She was very understanding of my problems and after doing some preliminary tests she studied my file before recommending and prescribing a medication. She saw immediately that the medication she had in mind for me was not going to work due to other medications I was already taking for another illness. Because of this she went with another medication . I am glad she was thorough. Her staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I will continue to see Dr Sampat and would definitely recommend her to others.

He doesn’t return calls, possibly due to an inefficient staff, even if the call is marked priority. He is not accessible to his patients thus putting the patient’s health at risk. As a referring physician, I am disappointed in the care my very ill patient is receiving.

This is a follow-up to an earlier review. Dr. Kesner said these exact words to me; "Why don't you just go home and die"! I don't know why. Perhaps it was because I brought 5 typed questions I wanted answers to or because I asked her questions I referenced to Dr. Perlmutter, a neurologist who appears on PBS. I filed a complaint with Ms. Weintraub, a patient advocate for Emory. Ms. Weintraub said that Dr. Kesner related in a letter Ms. Weintraub sent to me that she was "sorry to hear that what s

I visited Dr Kesner in extreme neurologic pain . It was the first time I had an appointment with her. She ordered a whole bunch of tests immediately. She listened carefully to all that I said and how I moved etc. At the end of the day we had a diagnosis proven by biopsies. She is EXCEPTIONAL!!!I have had extensive tests and visits with specialists [Mayo,Cleveland Clinics etc] and She BY FAR exceeded any other doctors I have seen for my rare diseases!

I have never had such an unbelievably horrible experience as I had with Dr. Esper. His staff was totally rude. I will spread the word to anyone who will listen, and warn them against going there. This experience was so bad, that after several years I have quit Emory, and have changed my doctors to Piedmont and Northside.

I believe this doctor now works in Atlanta at Emory. In his defense, I only gave him 3 stars because my previous neurologist failed to provide any and/or accurate previous medical records needed for the previous two years. As a result, in all fairness, Dr. Khoury was left with only a few tests he requested to provide a second opinion without having many other missing pieces necessary.

Dr. RR is thorough in explaining your diagnosis and treatment plan; very knowledgeable. His support staff are kind, friendly and very professional. The only issue that I had was this his PA (or NP) I can't recall her title. She was friendly but was skeptical of everything; made me feel like I was being deceitful (despite their test results); I would recommend making an appt only with Dr. RR; it will likely be months until your appt.
