My son saw Dr. Buckle in Atlanta, GA and we are so sad to find out he has moved to a new practice. Dr. Buckle was extremely informative, detailed and knowledgeable with MS. Thank you Dr. Buckle for getting my son on the right path to slow down my son's MS. We will be forever grateful to you.

I am a health care surrogate for someone with MS. I have been 'seeing Dr. Buckle for over 4 yrs. He takes all the time and care my friend needs each visit. He is on top of her care and has been the one to correct a misdiagnosis and get her back on the right path after a emergency inpatient visit that lasted over 1 month. I am very thankful for his knowledge and discernment.

Neurology
While I believe Dr. Buckle is an extremely intelligent Physician, he is unfortunately, a corrupt individual. He treated me for MS for a year while I suffered from a host of neurological symptoms and continued to deteriorate. I ultimately discovered I had B12 deficiency and after 2 months in treatment, I regained the ability to walk on my own. I am a 38 year old mother and work in healthcare as well. Dr. Buckle knew my B12 level was abnormal and chose not to address it and proceeded to treat me with medication that cost appx $60K per year. I know now that his lack of objectivity to a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis stems from the $250-300K he is paid each year from the pharmaceutical companies that manufacture those MS drugs. No, he is not paid this unreasonable amount of money for research. His payments are for "consults" and "promotional speaking". I hope that one day his questionable practices are exposed.

Dr. P. Fadia is a Healer in the best sense of a medical rehab neurololyst. Her knowledge of her craft is a gift of mercy for me. She is kind and persistent in her treatment of stroke rehab. My prayers are of thankfulness for her in my recovery mission of life and of my families lives.

Neurology
I am a 26 year old female, and Dr. Gore treated me after my car accident for about a year. I was having every concussion symptom in the book (nausea, dizziness, memory loss, balance/vestibular issues, insomnia, anxiety etc.) all while I was finishing up Physical Therapy school and studying for boards. I was in a pretty dark place for that time (even crying once or twice in the office), and Dr. Gore took the time to actually sit down and talk to me about details of my life. It was incredible - I had to be the one to end the conversation most times! He is good at explaining why he is referring out (e.g. sleep medicine, vestibular physical therapy...) and why he is prescribing a certain medication, so that you're not in the dark. He's a great doctor and an even better person, which sometimes matters just as much. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Russell Gore has been an amazing physician and care giver to our family this past year. He diagonsed my Mother's illness and got her on the road to recovery when no other doctors could figure out the root of her illness. He is caring, kind and compassionate and we will forever be thankful for having been referred to him.

Demeaning to women. Asks if you were abused as a child and tells women with a head injury, that it is "in their heads" and they just need depression medication. That they have made up their symptoms. Met women in physical therapy that confirmed he did the same thing to them. Also found out he was taught this line of questioning from a doctor he trained with at Emory. An Emory PT graduate confirmed that yes his mentor was notorious for being demeaning to women. Horrific doctor to be affiliated with such an excellent center. Shepherd's needs to launch a deep investigation into how he conducts himself in appointments and the questions he asks female versus male patients.

Dr. Thrower took the time to explain my condition. He answered every question I could think of and them some. The initial appointment included 40 min of Dr. Thrower sitting and talking with me about what it means to have multiple sclerosis.

The man is amazing, as an MS-specialist/Neurologist and as a person. He Listens to his patients. MS is incurable & challenging. His empathy and compassion are a part of treatment; he will "go with the flow" to tweak existing treatments as appropriate; he listens to his patients' opinions. I am fortunate to NOT see him very often, with a more benign (although disabling) form of M.S. But I HAVE seen him for well over 10 years so take my word: If you seek an MS specialist (Atlanta area) go here!

Dr. Thrower give you a great understanding of your illness. He explains things to you whereas you leave with a true understanding. There is no dumb questions that you can ask. He wants you to know what is going on with you in reference to your illness.

Dr. Murphy is very knowledgeable about the treatment of traumatic brain injuries. I had seen a local neurologist in Anchorage who discounted my TBI symptoms and when I couldn't remember 5 things I was supposed to have remembered at the start of his exam, he blew it off to anxiety, when I did not even remember that he asked me to remember the 5 items. As the neurologist was part of a sleep center, his recommendation was that I have a sleep study instead of addressing memory and cognitive issues
