AdventHealth Medical Group Pediatrics at Wesley Chapel

Today I was embarrassed completely and discriminated by DR HERNANDEZ and her Nurse. My son had a Physical Scheduled he needed for school. I was doing his hair and noticed he had Lice Eggs in his hair. I told the Nurse and she took a few steps back like it was going to jump on her and said HE HAS LICE NOW, Ma'am for future references this is virtual appointment, I said he is here for a physical that he needs for school. She left the room and came back and CRACKED THE DOOR and told me I'm Canceling this appointment and making you a virtual one. And then we will reschedule his physical. The DR would not see my son in person. They tried to tell me it was because lice is a sick visit. NO THAT IS NOT CARING ABOUT A CHILDS WELL BEING MORE THEN GETTING EXTRA INSURANCE MONEY. MONEY HUNGRY!! It's unacceptable the way they treated us today! And we will never go there again. Hope they don't have anyone treat their kids the way they treated us today!

Dr.Hernandez does a great job, she's friendly, and is very thorough with my daughter. She always answers any questions we have. My daughter really likes seeing her! Several of my coworkers take their children to her as well and constantly say how much they like her!

Wanted to get a covid-19 test done and the medical nurse told us he ran out of them. The doctor did not even acknowledge my daughter or even checked her for other infections or at least check her lungs. The doctor did not even attended her or approached my daughter which was the doctor's established patient.

I took my 11 year old daughter to see Dr. Sara. I was very impressed with the whole process. Dr. Sara is very knowledgeable and has her patient's best interest at heart! I would recommend her to anyone!

She was very kind and spent time listening to our health concerns. I didnt feel rushed and flustered like I have with other offices.
