Saw Dr. Doarn today for post surgery appointment. From my first visit, through surgery and today's followup I have been totally satisfied with the care I have received. I have found Dr. Doarn makes everything is chrystal clear and transparent. I anticipate further surgery and have no problem with seeking his terrific service and care.

I was referred to Dr Doran by a friend after complaining of multiple issues not addressed by prior doctors. Since I have met Dr. DORAN my quality life has drastically improved. The day after my surgery the numbness in my right arm was immediately restored. It was like the hand of God was placed on my arm and I was allowed to live a full life again. Hands-down the best bedside manner and treatment I have ever expected from a doctor for an ailment that most people thought was benign. If your day today life is at all affected from a nerve related hand issue, he is your solution!

I’ve been seeing Dr Doarn since Sept 2021. He is knowledgeable, kind, and empathetic. I am happy to recommend him for any hand problems you experience. His nurse, Andy, is an asset to Dr Doarn. It is truly a pleasure to visit Florida Orthopedic with every appointment to the Riverview location. The staff behind the desk when you check in are so attentive, competent and very respectful.

Atmosphere, to me, is the most important aspect when meeting with my doctor, and I can attest that the atmosphere at Dr. Doarn’s office is fantastically friendly, calm, and comfortable. Dr. Doarns demeanor has been wonderfully kind and engaging, he expresses true interest in his patients’ wellbeing with a very laid back style. He is just great. India Perez is his assistant, and her personality is unreal awesome, approachable, and lighthearted. Fixed my problem in one visit.

Dr Echols is very friendly and attentive. I was seen for a torn rotator cuff. He gave me two options to check out the extent of the injury. I have a subsequent appointment to go over the MRA results. I feel like I'm in good hands!

Very organized, checked in and was immediately sent to x-ray minimal wait time, technician very pleasant. Short wait time in room to see Corey who explained probably diagnosis and treatment. Within 5 minutes Dr Echols was in and confirmed plan. Cortisone shot in shoulder didn’t feel hardly a thing....thanks Corey!!! In and out within 1 hour everyone was pleasant and professional. Very satisfied with the visit

Dr. Doarn treated my wrist and arm after a trip and fall. He performed surgery to shorten my ulna and correct my wrist. He and the staff at FL Ortho are amazing. He was very detailed in his descriptions of my diagnosis and made sure I understood everything. I would be very comfortable seeing him and the staff at Riverview again.

Dr. Doarn gave me exactly what I was hoping for. A slow progression of treatment starting at the bottom. Then if needed we’ll work our way up. I’ve had other doctors that try to start at the top. Explained everything thoroughly. Very satisfied.

Such a friendly staff. Was promptly greeted and directed to my zone. I had to get an additional x ray and get a cast. They were extremely efficient and my visit was quick for everything I had done. The front desk staff in zone 2 were so sweet, friendly, and fun. The first doctor I saw was very nice and so was Dr. Doran. They knew what they were doing and educated me. The cast techs were also great! The two guys talked to me the whole time and made sure I was set to go.

Currently a bedside provider for 35 years, I understand how our healthcare system has evolved (devolved?). Patients are increasingly treated as commodities that are processed much like cattle in a processing plant. It also does not help when you visit a surgeon whose ego and attitude precede him as he walks through your exam room door. Dr. Doarn is the complete opposite of so many physicians. He may be cognizant of how much of his time he's sharing with you, but I never felt like he was rushing me. He allowed me to speak interruption free because he was completely engaged and professional. Again, surgeon's can be the worst in terms of their egos and attitudes, but Dr. Doarn was humble, relaxed, pleasant and without one ounce of condescension. From Dr. Doarn to the front office staff, the entire FOI experience was five star. There's no question as to why he has so many positive reviews.

This man is rude and does not listen to his patients. If you want conservative therapy for a shoulder problem do not waste your time or money seeing him. I saw him today and when I told him I did not want to do an MRI or surgery his response was "I am a surgeon, I fix things. I do not control pain." I did not ask for pain medication, I was very verbal about not wanting to take any medications including NSAID pain relievers. He ended my visit at that time with no further recommendations. When I talked to the office manager I was told that he is a wonderful doctor that people wait months to see. My appointment was booked in less than a week. Also, when talking to the office manager I had to have the discussion in the lobby in front of other patients while his staff was behind the desk. As a medical provider I was very disappointed that he was not open to conservative therapy and did not recommend any therapy or anything else.

I had minor surgery on my hand and am very happy with Dr. Doran. He explained everything clearly, answered any questions I had and has a pleasant attitude. I would recommend Dr. Doran to anyone.

Great Doctor and outstanding staff always on time

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Typical corporate position. as soon as he found out my condition is not his specialty, he gave me the name of another doctor, and literally WALKED QUICKLY OUT OF THE ROOM, while is was still sitting down. He did not give me a chance to ask questions, and quite obviously did not care at all. I could hear his thoughts...NEXT...$$

Shoulder replacement. Post Op recheck at 6 days. Asst remd cellophane put on steri strips, Dr going on vacation. Within 36 hrs surg site bleeding and continued getting worse. Called office Christmas eve. Dr E told us to continue to bandage. Called to have HHC come out on Sunday. She wouldn't touch and gave me more bandages. By Monday site looked worse. Called office. Dr on vacation, PA on vacant. No one to see him at the office. Dr E called and said he was on Vaca if concern go to ER. At ER. Dr concerned beginning of infection. Rewrapped, Gave IV antibiotics and told to see Surgeon ASAP. Called office from ER. Dr on vaca can see him in 13 days. What!! No other option. Talked to Dr E Receipt. She got me appt in a week. No antibi. At appt Dr E set up surgery for next am to clean. In Hospital 5 days did not see Dr E or FOI rep at all. Wound infection. IV antibiotics at home 7 weeks., not one call from Dr or office the while time. Lots more but no more space to write.
