The most arrogant Dr we have ever encountered. His words were I don't have time to research his own records with what medicine his PA prescribed while my mom was in the hospital. He was extremely rude... However, his PA was extremely helpful when my mother was in the hospital.. He certainly has given this Infectious Desease Office a Horrible name.. Please beware of this Dr. If assigned to you, please ask for another Dr. In the group.

Was resistant to a medication for almost a year. Dr Mirza and staff did not catch this and kept ordering this medication, that was having no benefit to my health. REFUSED to answer how this happened

Based on a recommendation, made appointment with Ms. Sosa July 2019. Had Wound on lower left leg that was infected. Open wound measured 19.5cm x 5cm x .1cm. Another wound care MD specialist suggested that I would lose my leg. Late April 2020 wound has healed w/o a skin graft (a concern early on). I was not the best patient. It took awhile but Ms. Sosa got it done! Ms. Sosa displayed excellent patient rapport and clinical skills. She is smart, outcome oriented and a good listener.

I was at the end of my rope, literally, resulting from a radiation-induced open wound for which neither a surgeon nor medical oncologist or a radiation oncologist had answers for other than proceed with high-dose chemotherapy to shrink the tumor. The largest wound (a crater) has necrotic tissue in need of debridement. I had to become an advocate for myself and turned to the Ocala Infectious Disease and Wound Center for help. I was seen by Amber Sosa, NP. She asked the questions and listened closely. I was very impressed with her AND her assistant....they were awesome. I do believe I am finally on the right track for help with this wound. Even if it does not heal as I would like, I am still grateful to have this facility. I have been scared to death not knowing where to turn when it comes to caring for this burdensome wound. I felt so lost on this journey because the doctors never seemed to have answers or real concerns. I now feel at ease knowing there is help out there.

Stay Far Away from this practice! My husband was a patient all they do is push IV therapy - the times he did see Dr Mirza the man was so confused, He walked in holding a patient list and an open cup of coffee and proceeded to examine the wrong leg - hint the correct leg would be the one that is bandaged, Upon entering the room he would also turn to me and say "refresh my memory". Not a very comforting feeling. The front desk person was asking if we were interested in buying a car and handed us her boyfriends card who works at VW. The only person that I saw who was doing an outstanding job was Lacy in the infussion center, Also what is up with the bathrooms they are disgusting - people forgetting to flush, towel dispensers not working, garbage on the floor. ALL IN ALL NOT THE KIND OF DOCTOR OR PRACTICE I WANT TOGO TO OR RECOMMEND TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS

Breast reduction July 2018. Right breast developed necrosis. Ruptured at anchor line. Many visits to plastic surgeon hospitalized home health care and etc. I reached out and heard about Amber specifically requested her. First visit sat and sobbed as open wound for a year I was tired depressed and overwhelmed. Followed her instructions including vitamins diet and wound vac and other tricks. On July 3rd I saw Amber and after a year of hell with other providers this intelligent gentle ARNP has officially closed my wound. I will never see another wound care provider except her. Amazing bedside manner. She not only earned her medical degree but she has the best bedside manner of any provider. She is aggressive and gentle. I would give her as many stars as there are in the sky. You want the best see the best and Amber is that. She closed wound in 6 weeks....

I would like to commend the Ocala Infectious Disease and Wound care Facility for the excellent care I have been receiving..They have a kind and caring staff-with a special shout out to Heather and Pam in the Infusion Center. I have received the very best treatment there and the entire staff has bent over backwards to facilitate my experience. I couldn't be in better hands. I would recommend this treatment center.

Dr Mirza was my mother's doctor in a hospital setting 3 months. He often say he see me on particular day but never showed. Since I slept /stayed throughout the ordeal, I know his follow up was deplorable. Worse was his inability to stay a course of action when the patient was actually improving. My mother's labs and physical findings all showed great improvement and at that time he insisted on changing courses. With my vehement disagreement he changed medication Tx and she died soon after.

After 3 MDS, 2 ENTS, and a dentist. 4 antibiotic prescriptions, 5 antibiotic shots, 2 prednisone prescriptions , 4 prednisone shots I feel Dr. Mirza has made more progress than anyone or anything else I have done. While we are still working on getting to a diagnosis of my illness, at least I feel he has taken the situation seriously and proactively. I think he is the best doctor and most knowledgeable of any other I have seen so far.

The care my husband has been getting from this office is terrible. My husband gets infusions at home. One whole week he did not get one of the medications he needed because the office screwed up on his order. Ever since then he has not been getting enough of that medication. We called the office yesterday to tell them about it. They said not to worry that he will get the medication. He did not get it. So one day he will not get the medication he needs. So fed up and angry.
