I can't express how awesome Dr. Musashi is. From the initial visit I felt my daughter was in good hands and still to this day I'm only more confident and happy. She has a wonderful patient and thorough knowledge and wants to be sure you understand everything and am left with no questions. Unfortunately my daughter experienced some hospitalizations and she gets straight in touch with the doctors and my daughter to stay updated and offer advice. We absolutely love her. A true treasure. The absolute best. I'm going to miss her so very much but only wishing her the very, very best in her future. Thank you so much Dr. Mubashir ????

I have been a patient of Dr. Mobashir for a few years now and I dont think to date I have had a Rheumatologist more concerned for their patients health. I have been dealing with these issues/symptoms for years prior to finding her practice and I feel like I finally have a good working understanding of what is going on with me. I am sad to see her leave her current practice. She is one of the good doctors but life happens and people move and move on. Best luck where you land in the future.

Dr Mubashir has been wonderful in assisting with my diagnosis and working with me as we figure out what medications work best to treat my psoriatic arthritis. Dr Mubashir is responsive to questions, thorough in her assessment, and is willing to consult with other specialists to create the best plan for her patients. Highly recommend.

Dr. Mubashir has been my physician for several years. I have never had a doctor who is as genuinely concerned about my health and with me as a person. She treats me with dignity and respect. At every appointment it's apparent that she knows my history, and is always ready with a well thought out plan. However, before she finalizes any plan of action, she invites me to share my thoughts and opinions. She makes me feel like my voice is important. Her professionalism and expertise comes through in the way in which she speaks to me about the science in language, and in a tone that is comforting and not at all intimidating. She is kind and thoughtful in her approach to my care. She should teach a course on how physicians should care for their patients. My life and health have been made better since being under her care.

Dr. Mubashir figured out a rare condition that I had that I had been degrading from for months. She removed me from a rehab center where I was failing from a lack of quality care and probably saved my life in the process. We are just beginning treatment but I feel encouraged that I have someone that knows what to do after seeing many many other rheumatologists and not being diagnosed properly.

Dr. Mubashir was recommended to me by a friend. I have a rheumatologic condition for which I have failed many biologics. I was advised to go to Boston. Luckily, a friend recommended her. I am on a new treatment that has changed my life. I am so glad to have found such expertise right here at home.

This doctor spent 6 minutes with me at my first appointment and 5 minutes at my second appt. She did not ask about my history, review charts sent to her nor did she want to see pictures I had taken of rashes that I've been getting. Her exam consisted of moving my legs back and forth and that was it. I have been a nurse for 30 years and am very educated. I was appalled at the lack of interest that she showed to my situation.

Dr. Mubashir is one of the best doctors I have come across. I have been suffering with a condition for years and have seen many doctors. Dr. Mubashir quickly identified the key issues and helped me lead a symptom free life. She always spends the appropriate amount of time with me and is always very pleasant. I would 100% recommend Dr Mubashir

Dr. Mubashir is now practicing at St Mary's Hospital in Lewiston ME. I became her RA patient in the fall of 2015, when my Portland Rheumatologist retired. She is an exceptional physician not only clinically but personally. She is extremely thorough and the organizational structures she has implemented truly have made all the treatment visits far less of an ordeal. I consider myself very fortunate to be in her care.

Dr. Mubashir explained the treatment she would be using to help control my body pain after speaking with me a few minutes regarding my symptoms. She absolutely got it right, after the first round of trigger point injections I have gone from barely being able to get moving to being able to roll around on the floor with my grandson. I have complete trust in her. I have recommended her to a few people who also deal with pain from fibromyalgia.

After a brief initial exam/tests had a follow up appt mos later where she spent 2 minutes looking at notes and talking mostly to herself. No exam. No eye contact. Totally disinterested. No acknowledgement of new or evolving symptoms. Disappointed as the only one accepting new patients in a group of otherwise prestigious mds. Wrote Rx after flipping through notes before asking if I'd had a heart attack due to side effects. No confidence in her. Seemed bored.
