Review of Dr. Motamedi

- in Washington |

I made an appointment with this office for a sleep disorder issue. I had a last minute work trip but it was important to address my sleep issue immediately so I spent $300+ on round trip train tickets to get to my appointment on time. I also woke up in the middle of the night to make it. As I'm unboarding the train I get a call cancelling an appt I waited over a month for. I never got a promised follow up to reschedule for the next availability. Very unprofessional

Review of Laura Xanders

-Germantown, TN |

Ms. Xanders administered an occipital nerve block to hold me over until my next Botox for chronic migraine. Sometimes I get lightheaded with injections and this happened during my visit with her. I've never had a healthcare professional spend so much time with me after a near fainting incident and remain friendly and non-rushed. She provided cooling pads, water, etc. She is a wonderful NP!

Review of Dr. Ailani

- in Alexandria, VA |

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Ailani. She goes above and beyond to help her patients and is one of the most empathetic doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I have never had any trouble with her staff at all, they are actually quite lovely. Scheduling can be hard, sure... (had to wait 7 months to get in as a new patient which was worth it) but if things are going wrong she always comes through. Top notch doctor!!

Review of Dr. Tornatore

- in Arlington, VA |

He has been my neurologist for more than 15 years. I had migraines and then finally diagnosed with multiple sclerosis after many doctors failed me in diagnosis, treatment and care. Dr T respects patient concerns and does not over prescribe; like many neuros do for M.S. His staff represents him well. The m.s. nurses are caring and helpful. I am able to feel heard and helped. The wait list may be long for Dr T but; he's been a lifesaver for me.

One of the best neurologists out there. I am seeing him for a long time and so recommend him. Very respectful, knowledgeable and caring and takes his time to listen to your concerns.

Review of Dr. Ailani

-Herndon, VA |

I like Dr Ailani however, I am going to go back to my previous Neurologist. The staff is very hard to communicate with. They hardly ever answer the phone. The voicemail box states that they will return the call within 24 hours which never happens. I usually have to call all of their many numbers that they give you before I get a response. I think the office is understaffed. There is one nurse for 3 docs and you have to go through her to make an appointment or get a message to Dr. Ailani.

Review of Dr. Ailani

-Washington, DC |

Dr. Ailani herself is a phenomenal neurologist and if it was just her, I would recommend her in a heartbeat. However, the issue is access to her. Trying to schedule an appointment can take more than 7+ months as an established patient, her office staff is rude (I have been told not to "spazz out" before), and I have had appointments canceled by her assistant and rebooked over the phone, only to have them not added to the system so I show up day-of with no appointment scheduled.

Review of Dr. Tornatore

- in Reston, VA |

A gifted, respected, and knowledgeabe Neurologist focused on Multiple Sclerosis. He is good at explaining in laymen's terms the disease, its affects the body, the treatment options, and its long term implications on the patient. On the downside he could do more for the patient and his/her family to provide insight on how to handle lifestyle, social, and psychological factors. Getting appts can be hard, and, at times, he can be unsympathetic, harsh, and mean. Stay on his good side
