Dr. Cavender is a very good listener, empathetic, takes her time with you, never rushes you, suggests necessary tests to take the best care of you, and answers all your questions in person and in emails.

I called based on my Cigna search for in network. I Waited 3 months for an appointment. I went to my appt and was told I was out of network. They can’t tell me my cost for the visit or any other out of network costs. Can I get my. Bloodwork done in network? No answer. Ask your insurance carrier. Given my appointment was set in ten minutes I can’t make the phone calls to get any answers and the dr office was completely unwilling to help. I selected this dr bc she’s a DO, well don’t let that fool you. The office staff was shocked I thought she’d be more “holistic”. Either the universe is messing with me or protecting me or this office is a disaster. I was turned away because they didn’t want to deal with the confusion. Cigna was “HORRIFIED” that I was turned away. They are in network and should have honored my insurance. Cigna is looking into this office issue. The dr office says “Cigna says we are in network but we Are not, happens a lot”. Then Fix the issue. Do YOUR JOB

Holly is so good at listening and responding to your needs and answering question or recommending you to a specialist if need be. She responds quickly when messages are left for her. The ancillary staff is great too.

Annie is a wonderful doctor!! I wouldn't anyone else! She has been my doctor for several years.

Holly Powell is the most knowledgeable, kindest, caring person I have ever dealt with, in 71 years (after taking care of my parents, for years, I have dealt with many). Holly “always” listens and is willing to work with you. I am so grateful to have her as my primary care provider. God sent me an angel “Holly”! I am so grateful for her.

Dr. Ammie is a fantastic doctor. She guided me thru many medical situations with honesty, compassion and kindness. I am highly recommending her to anyone in the Boulder, Larimer, Weld county areas of Colorado. I will miss her as we have transferred across country. Best of Luck Dr. Ammie !

Years after seeing this doctor as a young girl I'm still shocked when reminded of her poor treatment of myself and my family members, and her quick dismissals of my being "too sensitive" despite only going to her office for something other than a regular physical a couple of times over my 18 years as a minor. She always made us feel unwelcome and like an annoyance to her and got us out the door as quickly as possible.

Amazing Dr. I would recommend her to anyone in her service area. Very knowledgeable, great bedside manner, and kind! I had Dr. Christiansen as my physician in her third year of residency in San Antonio. She delivered my first born. I had a high risk pregnancy due to Crohn's Disease. My experience with her was excellent. No matter what wierd situation my body threw at us she never wavered.
