procedure in the hospital which required me to take 2 different medicines beforehand. The day of the procedure right as the anesthesiologist was about to put me under, Dr. Barrett asked me if I took both medicines. Confused I explained I only took 1 (honest mistake). The response I received was sarcastic, cold, and showed very inappropriate bed side manners for a doctor (and similar to the communication she provided at her office multiple visits). I was told "Well I didn't prescribe you both just for fun. You can have complications, that was to open your uterus. I guess we are going to have to do this without it." When a doctor is sarcastic to you, chuckles, speaks coldly to you, AND implies there can be complications right as you are about to be put under, you do not feel safe. My last thought was "I can not believe she is the one about to touch my body. I wish I can get out of this right now."
