I found Dr Simonan to be appropriately empathetic with good bedside manner. He checked in on me daily when I was an inpatient at Swedish Medical Center. I appreciated his kindness in checking me out and giving me good updates on how I was doing. I highly recommend this decent, hardworking doctor.

I was in the Hospital for COVID treatment. I was disappointed in the lack of communication about some of my secondary symptoms. She thought she had shared some information with me that she did not share. I was kept an extra day not knowing what I could have been doing differently to help my numbers improve. Overall lack of communication was highly frustrating!

Dr Nguyen was assigned as my Hospitalist at Porter Hospital. I found him to be cold and uncaring, especially when I had questions about his decisions regarding my care. In my opinion, his defensiveness interfered with not only my ability to make a sound decision, but also his ability to satisfactorily treat me.

My mother was hospitalized at St Anthony Central on 11/8/2018. Dr. Chernaik saw her in the morning before I was at the hospital. I was told he was going to call me, and let me know what was going on. I never received a call from him, and found my elderly mother beside herself with a colonoscopy prep. She was anxious about it, and had I been informed they were going to do this, I would have been there prior to the prep starting. Following up with a patient's support family is IMPORTANT!

I recommend if you have any type of seizure disorder you seek a different or specialized neurologist instead. As a young person (24) I felt condescended to and felt I was not taken seriously. He reluctantly told me I "probably" have epilepsy and that it was "not a big deal" via voicemail. I hear he is great with neuromuscular issues, but for me personally I was immediately helped so much more when I switched to a specialized neurologist who could help me go over all my options for seizures.

Having had my previous Dr (for 5 minutes) toss me over to CU Health where I got Dr. Simonian. That was in 2005 and the best thing that ever happened to me. Since he has become a good friend and my rock. I'm not the typical patient and he didn't treat like one. He helped me through years of getting off unnecessarily previously prescribed medication and back to being human. He listened to me and worked with me. You don't find that much these days. It's usually "pump and dump". Thanks! Dr. S.

Doctor London was so helpful to me when I had been misdiagnosed by a highly regarded neurologist. Dr. London did not agree and encouraged further testing which proved that his opinion was correct and I did not have epilepsy. I am so grateful to him for creating that doubt in my mind and encouraging me to go elsewhere for more tests.

Best ever, really understood my complex med history, which I could now use with my Oncologist, esp with allergies. Having real prob with Chemo and will NOT! get understanding. He was great at everything! Treats you as a whole person, with caring, listens, helps. Really likes you. I really miss him. Wish I could talk to him since he left his last practice, but am so HAPPY THAT HE HAS FOUND A BETTER PLACE! GOD BLESS THIS GREAT DR. He always made me feel SAFE and CARED for in the BEST hands.
