Dr. Rufner took his time with me. He was professional, courteous, thorough, developed a good treatment plan, and gave me notes at the end of the appointment which I so appreciated. I'd definitely recommend him and this practice. The office was clean and efficiently run by young professionals.

Consult was rushed and impersonal. I had to ask questions that should have been routinely explained like: what anesthesia? complications? recovery? That should have been my 1st clue to find another GI doc. I called the office multiple times to get biopsy results and was told they weren't back. Finally, after 4 wks and 4 days and yet another call to the office she finally rtnd my call and left a message!! I was too outraged to speak to her. By this time I had already gone to the facility and obtained my pathology report which came back dated 3 days post procedure.

Dr. Rufner performed a colonoscopy for me. He ended up finding Stage 1 cancer after sending in a biopsy that appeared only mildly suspicious. This cancer did not show up on a CT Scan. Without the thoroughness of Dr. Rufner I would have been in real trouble. He literally was a lifesaver.

Thomas Trouillot was by far one of the most uneducated doctors in regards to celiac disease. I was diagnosed very early in life. I show up negative on a blood test because I’ve been on a strict gf diet for 17 YEARS. He thought I wasn’t being honest with him and questioned me in length and made me feel so frustrated and like I was on trial. He said I was being way to cautious about cross contamination. He seemed utterly clueless about how minor wheat/gluten exposure can ruin an entire week for me. He pushed for an endoscopy which I agreed to but upon further conversation with my partner I didn’t feel safe being in his care.

This is the worst medical office I have ever encountered. I was 15 minutes late (after driving 2 hours from Breckenridge) and I was told he couldn't see me. I rescheduled the appointment for a video call. On the appointment time he never got on line or showed up for my appointment. I have wasted so much time on this physician. I am a a doctor as well and I have never seen an office so poorly managed or a Physician who cared so little about his patients.

Cold, condescending, and impersonal. Worst interaction I've ever had with a doctor. I left the office feeling scared and confused. She didn't leave any room for me to ask questions. See someone else.

I think everyone should have full transparency to who they are establishing care with. Dr Rufner, at face value, is a good doctor. He will spend time in the appointment and fully and clearly explain your treatment options. However, if you are looking for any sort of level of care beyond that – please read on. For anyone who lives with IBD or a GI disease, you know a flare up is scary at best and can be damaging at worst. Its in these times that you turn to your doctor for direction and a course of action. I am sad to say that for 4 whole weeks, with my Crohn’s uncontrolled and confused about the next steps, I called and emailed and left VMs with Dr Rufner’s office with no response. Furthermore, the receptionist actually started to screen my calls and sent them straight to VM. Even after having an MRI, I never even got a follow up call with my results. I would never want any one else to be in this position with any doctor so I wanted to be honest about my experience here.

I have been seeing Dr. Brenner for over 4 years now and she is patient and caring. I have had two colonoscopies by her and as unpleasant as that procedure can be, she and her staff did the best to alleviate as much of the unknown as possible. I have had bad experiences in the past with other doctors and I am so happy to have found her.

Always a great experience with Dr. Brenner, I been seeing her for the last 5 years and she is truly caring and listens and explains the results. Its never fun to have an upper or lower scope. I have always felt in the best of hands with her and staff.

Visited this doctor a few times over the course of a year for a couple digestive problems. My most recent visit was a follow up due to ongoing abdominal pain. He was irritated, implied I was wasting his time, and told me to take OTC antacids. Effectively told me to see a GP instead. I went to a different doctor for help, and was tested positive for H. Pylori, a stomach infection that has some serious implications if left untreated. Now getting the treatment I needed all this time. If you want a doctor that takes your health issues seriously, avoid Trouillot.

The best doctor ever! He spent a lot of time with me & actually examined me unlike Rocky Mountain Gastro. At RMG, I never saw a doctor unless I had surgery. If I have to have an exam once a year then I expect to be seem by a doctor not a PA. Dr Trouillot has a great bedside manner & is very friendly & fun. Everyone in the office was super nice. He explains everything & took his time.

On my very first appointment I was never introduced to the intern who was in the room, nor was I asked if it was ok if he was present. Dr. Trouillot’s bedside manner didn’t work for me. He was dismissive of symptoms and concerns and ultimately felt there wasn’t anything wrong and yet he still recommended an endoscopy. He said to quit chewing gum and the issues would probably resolve (he gave an nice eye roll when he saw what type of gum I chew). ?? Overall unprofessional. A colleague had worked with him while he was a fellow and he came highly recommended. Needless to say I didn’t schedule the endoscopy with him and I’ll never go back.

I have been working with Dr. T for over a decade. However...his staff is absolutely horrible. I should have been on a "maintenance plan" yet there was never any follow-up at all over the years... no return phone calls... in fact most calls go to voicemail and even the v-mail was full half the time... Recently I needed a refill and called the office to see about getting my blood work done so I can get a refill before leaving town. That request was never processed thus when I got to the lab (a week after I was told all will be take in care of) the lab staff informed me that the request was not in their system... we called the Dr.'s office and was told it will be take in care of the same day... needless to say that did not happen. During the next couple of days I was not happy (understandably) and was passed around between the office manager and an assistant and a scheduler. Zero follow-up personally by Dr. T. At the end I got a 30 day refill with a nasty note on the bottle...

Just like another person on here, I was seen and immediately told it was psychological. I was also quizzed about any medical issues that I’m not telling her willingly- like I was lying. Very condescending.

Office visit was fine. Everything about the colonoscopy experience was dreadful. Luckily, I already had two colonoscopies by other doctors in other locations so I know the treatment was abnormally awful.

I had a great experience with Dr. Brenner. I reccomend seeing her. I havn't been to a Gastro doc for many years. I have Crohn's disease & it has been in remission for years. Needed to have the over 50 colonoscopy. For something so icky - Dr. Brenner was kind, listened to my concerns and professional.
