Sadly, this review is 100% about the support staff at Arvada Pediatrics North. My kids have been patients of Dr. Brucker for 15 and 12 years, and we’ve always been delighted with the experience. However, the office now employs the most condescending scheduler/front desk person that we have ever encountered. With a third child attending the practice, our experience was sour from the very first interaction with Tiffani. She mocked our request to have separate family files (second marriage), ignored the request altogether in the end, and regularly demonstrated an absolutely unfriendly, condescending attitude when we did interact with her. I can’t imagine what fabrications she created in asking our kids to leave the practice...yes, Dr. Brucker and Dr. Hodge “fired” three kids (two of them in active treatment protocols, which put them at risk!) as patients because of, what I can only assume were outright lies about our family. I fear for other families that run afoul of her.

I took my newborn to see Dr Guerin and she was wanted to do a procedure to dry out her umbilical cord stump. The doctor triwd to do the procedure then told me that she could get to the right spot to dry out e.g. cord. She still charged me for the treatment, six times more than the insurance allots for this procedure. I got stuck with the bill and the doctor refused to write of any part of it when I called the office. I will not be going back to this clinician!

With a son who has Epilepsy Dr. Michael was a horrible provider! I am appalled by the lack of communication from my son's primary care provider and the rudeness with which I have been treated. I wanted to warn those parents in the area who may be searching for a pediatrician for their child that Dr. Starbuck and his staff do not seem to actually care about their patients and have no loyalty to patients who have been loyal to them.

I love Dr. Starbuck - I only wish she treated adults too! She listens to what her patients (or their parents) have to say, she is caring, professional and knowledgeable. She will not waste your time, but will try and figure out the root of the problem on the first visit.

I wouldn't say that Dr. Starbuck is a bad doctor, but my child is just a number at Arvada Pediatrics. It's very difficult to get the doctor himself. Rather, my child gets a nurse practitioner on most visits when he's sick. My child also has a heart condition, and even though he sees a heart specialist annually to monitor his condition, those records are sent to Dr. Starbuck, who has never once talked to me or my son about it. I don't think the doctor even knows he has a heart condition!
