Madeline is a wonderful practitioner. What really strikes me about her care is that she always calls me personally about lab results or other follow-up, even mundane things that a nurse or assistant could take care of. She has spent 15-20 minutes on the phone with me on a number of occasions patiently answering silly questions and explaining things to me.
I highly recommend her, she is the best med provider I have had. She honestly cares about her patients and is authentic in her interactions. She is a great educator and goes above and beyond to provide continuity of care to her patients. The times I was going through some moderate illness and her office consistently followed up with me. She runs an organized office with fast follow up of care and referrals. Since switching insurances I can truly appreciate what superior care I received from her
I switched to Dr. Wolfe when my insurance changed and she is great. My first appointment we talked about IUDs and then I was scheduled the next week to have one inserted. I had a really hard time with it, was in a lot of pain and nauseous, I even threw up in the exam room, but Dr. Wolfe was great. She was really quick with the procedure and when she saw I was having a hard time she let me sit in the room for an hour and she and a nurse checked on me regularly. They were caring and helpful.
The best doctor I HAVE EVER SEEEN! This is coming from someone who has disliked doctors for most of her preteen/adult life. When most doctors have ignored my anxiety ridden ramblings, Dr. Wolfe, not only listened but helped me through them - gynecology related or not. She is so easy to talk to and such a wonderful problem solver. I mentioned my bad reaction to stitches once, and she used glue for my procedure and I have almost no scarring! My IUD insertion was so easy and she was very gentle.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Wolfe to my friends and family. She was prompt, friendly and thorough. I really like her approach on treating things more holistically and appreciate her insight on what is changing in the world of gynecology.
Dr. Wolfe takes the time to actually listen to you. She explained every thing in detail and was kind enough to repeat herself if I didn't understand. I will never go to a different doctor.I highly recommend her
Bettina Willuhn is. above all, profession in manner and practice. I have been in Bettina's care for years now, so, I trust her. Bettina really cares about me, showing me that by calling me from time to time to make sure I'm clear on test results, and to "celebrate" times when I've met health goals. I hope to continue my care with Bettina as my PA.
I have been a patient of Bettina's for 7 years upon moving back to Colorado. My daughter was a patient of Bettina's while attending Undergrad and Grad school at CU for 6 years. Bettina has been an important factor in my health care, she takes the time to listen and helps me understand my medical conditions. One aspect that I do appreciate being a patient of Bettina's is that she will always go the extra mile to help you.
I found Dr. Wolfe to be disconnected from me as her patient, rushed, and insensitive to my requests. I have trouble with pelvic exams due to past traumas and tried to request we move very slowly while doing the papsmear. My requests were not met, I felt unsupported in the emotion that arose in me, and she left the room before I could ask any questions. Though she seems competent in her field of practice I would not recommend her unless pelvic exams are the easiest thing in the world for you.
I am an intelligent and progressive younger woman and I wanted an intelligent, pregressive, thoughtful and attentive gynecologist. I simply cannot recommend Dr. Wolfe highly enough. She is completely non-judgemental, fact-based but kind in her bedside manner, well-informed and up-to-date on everything I asked her, and a genuine professional. It is always a gamble finding a new, trustworthy doctor you feel connected to, and Dr. Wolfe meets all those criteria. If only my PCP was this attentive.
As a happy, long time patient of Bettina's, I even followed her when she moved to a new clinic. Bettina takes a genuine interest in your health, really taking the time to focus on you as her patient. She lets me ask all sorts of questions, making me feel heard, clarifies my concerns, and then gives in-depth answers rather than brushing me off like so many physicians do. I've also referred others to her as my experiences with her have been consistently positive, year after year.
I think Bettina is great. I've been a patient for many years and I feel so comfortable with her. When I was diagnosed with cancer she called to check in on my emotional state and offered to answer questions. She checked on me after each procedure even though she wasn't involved in my direct care. Any time I have needed a spur of the moment appointment I have been able to get in the next day.
I have been a patient of Bettina's for years. She is excellent and I highly recommend her! She takes time to ask me important questions about my health, she never judges and always offers relevant suggestions and support. I feel completely confident in her abilities. Everyone at the office is very warm, kind and professional.
great listener and exceptional skills!
Rude. Ignored CDC guidelines. Condescending.
I've been Bettina's patient for ten years. Starting in college, I've seen her for issues related to mental health, family planning, asthma, and general health. I live in Denver now and commute to Boulder for appointments. From the beginning, she's made a concerted effort to get to know me as a person. I still recommend her to friends and family with great enthusiasm. I can't overstate how much of a positive impact she's made in my life.
I have seen Dr. Zacharias as my primary care physician for about 15 years. I have always been satisfied with them time he spends with me and his approach. I have been fortunate in not having any major medical issues but I want a doctor who I can trust, is knowledgeable, is available, listens and spends time with me as needed and does not keep me waiting. In over 15 years, Dr. Zacharias has fit all of those criteria.
We are long time patients of Dr. Susskind and have recommended her to several close friends. She provides excellent care. I appreciate her deep knowledge on a range of medical issues, her communication style, and she always puts my kids at ease with her gentle bedside manner.
I have been seeing Bettina Willuhn for years and she an extraordinary health care provider. Her level of care, attention and knowledge are exceptional—she seems to be part of a lost generation of doctors and PAs who look at their patients holistically and with the patient's complete health history in mind. She never hesitates to discuss the latest science and treatments, thus I always have great confidence that my health is great hands with Bettina Willuhn.
We needed an immunization record for my son for his college. After a month they finally emailed him the record without a signature. I took the record to Dr. office, asking why are you sending us a worthless piece of paper. The receptionist said my son has not visited them for long time. I said we are not looking for anything new, just the history of his immunization. I asked to meet his doctor or the nurse. But she said they are both busy cannot meet. She said you can call the customer advocate…
I have been Bettina's satisfied patient for years. I saw a couple of doctors at the Medical Center before settling in with Bettina. I feel I always have her full attention and my visits never feel rushed. She listens and communicates well. She provides me with options for my medical needs and fully explains the pros and cons. I always leave feeling well cared for and informed. I highly recommend Bettina!
Karin Susskind is the primary care provider for both myself and my toddler son, and I've had nothing but great experiences with her over the past 5 years. She's always taken my health concerns very seriously, and worked with me to figure them out (including referring to specialists) until I felt satisfied. I've never felt like my concerns about my own health or my kid's health were blown off.
I am a medical professional and have been seeing Bettina for about 5 years now. She is always respectful, courteous, prompt, responsive, and genuinely caring. I never have to wait long to schedule or at appointments. She is always prepared and has reviewed my history and last visit before coming in the room so I feel she does not waste any time or cause any re-work. I would highly recommend Bettina to my family and friends and others who need an excellent family practitioner.
Bettina has been my doctor for 5 years now and she has consistently been a great doctor. She was referred to me by a friend and I've referred her to multiple friends of mine as a primary care physician. She is thorough, listens very well to my concerns and answers any questions I have and is great at explaining how my medications work as well as any potential risk factors associated with them. She's referred me to some other really great specialists in the area as well!
Bettina was recommended to me several months ago by a co-worker. Best recommendation ever. Her staff is delightful. I never wait more than 10 minutes and never feel rushed when with her. She is no nonsense and honest and really cares about my wellbeing without being condescending. I was truly fortunate to have switched providers, and highly recommend her if you are looking for a provider or looking to change providers.
I have suspected I've had food allergies for years. Madeline diagnosed my food allergies and spent a ton of time with me and helped me understand my new allergies. She even went a step further and investigated possible causes for infections that I get frequently. She personally called to follow-up with me which doesn't usually happen with other doctors. I would highly recommend Madeline.
Bettina Willuhm has been my families doctor for over 15 years. Bettina is a very intelligent, caring, knowledgable doctor who I trust totally and completely with my own and my families health care needs. She has always advised me with common sense, quickly and effectively and I totally trust her advices on whatever heath care issues have presented themselves in our lives. With Bettina's help, advice and expertise, my family has maintained excellent health for many years under her care. Thank you
Rate as an average doctor. As with many doctors these day, they only spend minimal time with you on diagnosis or history. Mostly rely on test for diagnosis.
She did not rush the appointment and she offered helpful suggestions/recommendations. I felt that she listened to my concerns carefully.
I was her patient for almost ten years. In the last few years I feel her practice has changed for the worst. The nurse who works for her is rude, unprofessional, and vindictive. I just buried my father 3.5 months ago after caring for him for 2.5 years. After my father died I became ill and couldn't make a Monday appointment. You are not able to leave messages on the weekend. I asked my husband to call in AM. He forgot. Bettina dropped me from her practice. Stay clear. This is how she treats pt
I had a really negative experience when I went to see her. I am a dedicated mom, who is very educated about health issues and makes informed choices around my daughter's health. Dr. Susskind was extremely shaming to me about choices I'd made around vaccination. She was also extremely unhelpful - telling me i needed to get a prescription for myself and the rest of the family - to prevent us from getting the flu - but she refused to write the prescription for me. Rude. Condescending. Shaming
I've been to Dr. Susskind for several years with increasing frustration. This last October, she did my annual exam - was rushed, irritated with questions, added tests that weren't needed in order to bill insurance for extra services (passed on to me through deductible), and failed to call in prescriptions. She was not interested in concerns that I had and only referred me to other doctors. Her goal in visits to obviously to maximize payments and not concerned with actual healthcare.
Interacting with Dr. Hong has to be one of the worst experiences I've had with a doctor. He refused to answer my questions during a scary procedure and has no empathy for his patients. It's my body and I get to say what happens to it. He doesn't respect that and tried to bully me into something I wasn't comfortable with. It's very challenging to get an appointment that is less than a month away. Once you're in there, it's a patient mill and Dr. Hong doesn't have much time for you.
This guy saved my life twice. He not only look at the blood test results but compare them to the trends over the previous years. He took extra time and care to get it right and caught a serious condition early on
Dr Gill is one of the most caring, thorough doctors I've seen. We are seeing her for my daughter's headaches. She saw us right away, on a day she doesn't usually see patients. Her medical assistant, Amanda, always either answers or calls back, usually within half an hour. We've been talking several times a day. There are many doctors involved and Dr Gill has personally talked to the other drs and therapists. She has also called me just to check in. The Best! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Dec 2016. My mother was taken to Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, where Dr. Graham spends part of time practicing at that hospital. My mother was in critical condition and Dr. Graham was her physician. He was outstanding in his treatment and care of her. Also, he was very informative and caring toward my two brothers and I through this very difficult time in our lives. Thanks to him we still have our mother to enjoy for ever how long she has on this earth. Thank you Doctor Graham
Doctor Holland has an excellent staff and is very personable. He correctly diagnosed my medical condition, confirmed with cardiac catheterization and referred me to an excellent cardiac surgeon for CABP. Been treating with him ever since then. When I had issues ten years post surgery, he was able to schedule me in for a cardiac catheter within two days. His associate Dr. Lyle does not do procedures, but is very communicative, involved with patient health and wellness.
I am very impressed with Dr. Gill. I have a lot of health problems which are a challenge for any doctor. Dr. Gill recognized right away what she could do to help with my suffering and put me on medication that has made me feel so much better. Her nurse Amanda is also very compassionate and caring.
I recently saw Dr. Hong for a cancer screening. He barely looked at me. Only questions asked were if I had any history of cancer in my family and if I had any areas I was concerned about. I pointed out a few areas and he said they were not cancerous but he could remove them if they bothered me. He was quick about it - somewhat painful. Two of the areas seem not to have been a success - they did not go away. Dr. Hong does not have a good bedside manner - exam was very quick and not thorough.
Did a lens replacement over a year ago and I'm very happy with the result. Last exam prefect!
I've seen Dr. Kosta for two different situations and both times he was friendly, helpful, and kind. He processes information quickly - an important ability in this kind of medical practice. Both times he spent as long as needed to answer questions and explain the X-rays. He is not a bit stuffy. Dr. Kosta is funny and has a great sense of humor (laughter is the best medicine). He is both knowledgeable and practical. A good man. You're in good hands with Dr. Kosta!
I highly recommend Dr. Kreidl after having cataract surgery. I was very pleased with his expertise, communication, the time he took to explain the options and procedure. He and his staff were very efficient and quick to respond to my questions via the patient portal. I appreciated his recommendation to get the toric lens due to astigmatism and the immediate excellent results.
Dr. Kreidl did a YAG laser treatment as well as my second cataract surgery after multiple complications with first cataract surgeon in another town. From a comparison point of view of the 2 opthamologists, Dr. Kreidl was outstanding! He was personable, MUCH MORE communicative, volunteering information, explaining all procedures/surgery effectively & reasons for the need for YAG treatment. His honesty was refreshing and much appreciated. YAG & cataract surgery went great!
WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN WAITING 14 WEEKS FOR AN APPOINTMENT.STILL NOTHING WITH A RECOMMENDATION FROM 2 DOCTORS. SHE COULD NOT CARE MUCH. IF SHE IS NOT GOING TO GET A PERSON IN IN A TIMELY FASHION SHE SHOULD SAY AND LET OTHER DOCTORS KNOW SHE IS NOT ACCEPTING NEW PATRONS. NOW AM DRIVING 200 MILES TO SEE A NEUROLOGIST. SHE SHOULD GO WITH ME. SHE NEEDS HER HEAD EXAMINED TO TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS.
I recently had cataract removal and lens implants in both eyes. The entire experience was easier than I had envisioned and my recovery went very well. Dr. Kreidl and the entire staff was skilled and efficient and the post-surgical information I was given was excellent and a huge help with the recovery.
Dr. Juliar listened to my concerns, and took them seriously. She wasn't rushed and took the time to explain all of my questions. She was cautious about me reporting pain in my calf, and because of this, located a blood clot in my leg (which can be very serious), and began treatment for this right away.
Dr. Gill doesn't listen, or take time to answer your questions, and does not explain what she is doing or tentative diagnosis. She walked out of the room while I was asking her a question. She told me to research treatment options on my own. She told me to come back and see her the next month. She was too lazy to look up the side affects of a medication. I would not recommend her to a friend.
Fantastic doctor with precision. In and out in no time. Lots of people I know to Dr. Hong. He is a household name in Boulder, and has been for decades!
Very thorough, you never feel like she is rushing to get to her next appointment. also very down to earth in her explanations and recommendations
Very happy with Dr. Christensen. Started seeing her several years ago when my all time favorite doctor and friend (Paula Crenshaw) left Colorado. She doesn't do unnecessary things (no x-rays unless you need them, etc). I really appreciate that. Always prompt, always listens - she is awesome!
Had hysteroscopy surgery and only ever saw Dr. Blattner during one appt. Did not see her before or after procedure. Could not schedule follow up appointment with her. Was passed off to a PA who was AWFUL. I was in pain after procedure and the PA was annoyed my exam hurt me. She then gave me wrong information from what Dr. Blattner left on my voicemail. Luckily, a kind admin confirmed the correct info in my report. If doctor is too busy to ever see people, please get better PAs.
I think Dr. Gallagher is a really good doctor. She is very engaged and concerned about me as a whole person. She does not seem to practice defensive medicine. She is knowledgeable and honest about the limits of her knowledge.
Best Docter in Boulder!
Dr. Christopher is thorough, straight forward, knowledgeable and really listens to her patients questions and concerns.
Dr. Birmingham has been treating my ankle for the past 5 months. He first prescribed a conservative, noninvasive approach (PT). Once it was clear that PT was not healing the underlying damage, he operated. The operation appears to be a definite success. He repaired several torn ligaments, a torn tendon, and some bone microfractures. After 8 weeks I am walking and riding my bike again. Throughout, he communicated with humility and confidence. All in all, I am very pleased. I highly recommend!
Dr. Jennifer Blattner showed me the utmost care and respect. She is super knowledgeable and I developed trust and confidence during my pregnancy, labor and delivery through her expertise. Most of all she was calm, kind and had an infectious laugh. I would highly recommend! From the front desk team, to her nurse, Suzi, the whole team was fabulous.
Excellent Doctor. He answers all questions well in easy to understand language and is very patient with self diagnosis clients. I highly recommend him.
Very friendly, attentive, skilled in the art, great follow ups.
I love Dr Erben. She is one if the most caring people I know. She works with you as a partner in your health. She will reasearch an off topic for you and come up with a solution that works. She is someone you want in your corner.
Dr. Birmingham was knowledgeable and patient in explaining my options prior to ankle surgery and has been equally helpful in follow-up appointments. He answers all of my questions and lets me know what to expect at each stage. He is approachable and never feels rushed during appointments. I'm very pleased with the results of my surgery; I’ve had very little pain or swelling and am on the way to full recovery. I highly recommend him to those exploring options to repair ankle instability and pain.
Dr Christensen delivered both my children and I was very pleased with how she handled both deliveries that were very different. I continued to see her for years after having children as I appreciated her knowledge about nutrition and how food really makes a difference. She performed a surgery removing both my ovaries and it was an easy procedure and recovery. She is always available to answer any questions i may have about my health and the health of my family and I appreciate that.
I would never recommend her to anyone.
Dr. Cavanaugh has cared for all of our children since birth. They are now 10, 8 and 2. She is caring, sweet and truly dedicated to providing the best care. We feel confident with her and would highly recommend her and her pediatric team. All of her colleagues are just as caring and professional.
She is the absolute best! My wife and I are sad that we won't see her as frequently anymore since we just had our twin girls!
She's the smartest, most calming & confident doctor I've been around. We felt well taken care of through the entire pregnancy & felt in safe hands @all times. Every time I would see her, especially surgery day i got this instant feeling of ease & voice in my head would always say something like "i have no worries now that she's her". My wife feels the same :)
Mark is smart, careful, friendly, really good at answering questions, totally up on the latest. I have now seen him seven times for osteoarthritis treatments.
She has been my OB/Gyn for about a year and delivered my second son. She's smart and well prepared, open to questions, and willing to follow patient's requests.
She has great attention to detail and digs deep to find the root of the problem. She found my PKD about 12 years ago and per scribed the right BP medine which is probably why I'm alive today.
This lady here is amazing! I was with her through my first pregnancy and now with my second. She is smart, kind, funny and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a well educated, laid back when appropriate Doctor. She has always made me feel heard and walked me through all my concerns and silly questions.
I got reference to her by my gynecologist and she is pretty awesome with kids. Her staff is friendly and nurse is great too. You can get hold of phone nurse easily when required, even scheduling urgent appointments is easy when needed. She gives sufficient time to every patient and parents, explains it to them too.
Dr. Andrews is an outstanding diagnostician. After listening to my health history, she ordered food allergy testing. I had no idea that I had these food allergies. After eliminating the offending foods from my diet, I have noticed I feel better and even my sleep apnea has improved.
What great luck that I found this doctor! Very personable, professional and really knowledgeable.
He immediately was able to diagnose my problem; fully explained various types of treatment; and quickly got me healing. I can't recommend Dr. Benjamin highly enough...at 74 I've had many physicians in my life, and he's one of the finest!
I believe this doctor is fine if you don't have any complications and require routine care. However, if you become "needy", concerned, or require anything above and beyond you may be met with coldness and apathy. I often felt judged and sad about our interactions. If you feel this way in an appointment please get a second opinion before accepting your interactions as fact.
I went to Dr. Birmingham to get his opinion about chronic bursitis at the back of my heel. He was extremely personable and answered all of my detailed questions about the surgical options, risks, recovery period, physical therapy, etc. During our discussion he mentioned a paper from a medical journal which described one of the procedures. I was interested in reading it, so I wrote down the author's name. Dr. Birmingham actually printed out the paper and gave it to me as I was leaving.
Dr. Birmingham was very professional and skilled yet compassionate. He listened carefully with empathy and his bedside manner was excellent. I would highly recommend him.
I went to Dr. Birmingham because I had a sliver of glass deep in my foot. His procedure to remove the glass was intricate and he brought a high-level of expertise. I am also pleased and amazed to say Dr. Birmingham has the best "bedside manner" of just about any physician I have seen in my entire life. I told him I wish he could teach his doctor-patient relationship skills to medical students, as that would greatly improve the quality of medical care. I highly recommend Dr. Birmingham.
This doctor's bedside manner was lacking during delivering the terrible news of a miscarriage. It was also very difficult to get a follow up appointment when I had concerns about complications. Later, after developing a horrible case of a UTI over the weekend she didn't get around to reviewing my labs and issuing a prescription for antibiotics until another couple days had passed since I submitted a sample (results available same day) meaning I was in severe discomfort most of the week.
Dr. Erben is great; I've been seeing her for a few years now and she's been hands down the best doctor I've ever had. She's very approachable about any problem I've experienced, and got an emergency surgery set up for me with no work on my part when I needed my gallbladder removed and the gastro unit couldn't see me. She always seems like she cares when she asks how I'm doing, and takes the time to explain everything we discuss. Somewhat difficult to schedule appts but worth it.
All my experience with Dr. Christensen has been positive. I believe that each person has a different criteria for a personal doctor; so I would tell someone that I am happy with my care and the reasons why and let them decide.
Dr. Erben is by far the most caring, conscientious and knowledgeable internist in Boulder. I am an orthopedic surgeon and have practiced in Boulder for over 20 years. We have shared numerous patients and they all rave about how wonderful she is, how she takes the time to explain their problems and options and readily orders tests and refers to specialists when needed for accurate diagnoses and timely treatment. She is one in a million!
Dr. Birmingham was terrific. He was kind, compassionate, friendly, knowledgeable. I felt that all of my questions were answered in a timely manner. My foot surgery went well, and his follow up care was great.
Dr. Birmingham is professional, skilled, and thorough. At the same time, he shows personal
interest in his patients as a whole and in their family members. I would highly recommend him.
She was kind, listened to everything I had to say, and gave me helpful feedback with a reassuring touch.
Listens, takes time. Great bedside manner.
I love Dr. Delgado. He is an amazing doctor, but his staff room is full of rude, snarky, pretentious and annoying women who restrict your ability to get into contact with Dr. Delgado and his Nurse. Whenever I entered for an appointment the ladies at the front desk made me extremely uncomfortable. And they also consistently fail to fax my refills on medications, even though the doctor and nurse have filled out the forms. If Dr. Delgado wasn't so great, I wouldn't put up with his frontroom staff
I've been visited Dr. Christensen for over 8 years. She is the most knowledgeable Internal medicine physician I've ever met.
I'd love to recommend Dr. Gallagher for several reasons. First, she listens to your health concerns with empathy. Second, she and her team get the needed procedure completed or ordered or in a timely and professional manor. I have been seeing Dr. Gallagher for over 10 years and through a few big medical obstacles. Have been been impressed with her and continue to go back.
I found Dr Austin during the summer of 2015, when I was having a miscarriage and couldn't get in anywhere locally. Now I am STILL driving the hour and a half to see him for my new pregnancy! It is worth the drive! I have recommended him and his staff to all my friends! My husband thought I was nuts to drive so far, but after meeting him, he too understands why I make the drive! I also love his nurse, Gail!
Very bad listener. Doesn't ask enough, or the right, questions. Got a second opinion from a very good doctor, didn't think I needed any of the tests Blattner was pushing. Had multiple appointments cancelled by the office. I do NOT recommend.
Amazing doctor with great bedside manner and an awesome nurse Gail. He delivered my first and will be delivering my second. I drive over an hour and a half to have him as my OB doc....so that should speak volumes. I can't speak highly enough about him and his staff. Both my husband and my parents loved him when they met him. Very very high level of trust in him after complications post birth with my first (rare situation with my body, not fault of care)
Dr. Andrews is a fantastic doctor but I'll be finding another allergist to go to because the office staff is totally incompetent. I saw another reviewer had similar comments. It's hard to schedule an appt (books out months in advance) and it's hard to talk to a live person or even just leave a message with the office. They billed me for a test I didn't even have done and I had to physically go to the office to get it resolved. Limited space for this review or else I'd list more concerns.
I had a very bad experience with him, I have nothing good to say because of the way he treated my daughters. He was very rude and inhumane with kids and special need kids.
Nothing but good experiences for me and family in his office. I trusted his treatment and got better during my time of distress.
We have used Dr. Christensen for years and have been very happy with her expertise. She spends the time to answer all questions and is great at coordinating with other doctors. We highly recommend her.
Dr Andrews is extremely smart and thorough. The office is very chaotic, poorly run, and needs an overhaul. I had to schedule two months out, only to have my appt. canceled one week before I was to go in. We had a slew of blood drawn, with no direction as to what the f/u would be. No one answers the phone when I call to try to find out what the results were. It is a shame, because Dr. Andrews is a phenomenal MD - but I am going to drive to National Jewish from now on.
When I recently had an emergency situation that required seeing a doctor quickly, Dr. Blattner squeezed me into her already busy schedule, and was so supportive and helpful. The phone nurses were particularly terrific -- they treated me with knowledge, caring, and respect. It turned out I needed surgery, and it would save me a huge deductible if I could do it quickly, before the year ended. The staff all worked to make that happen. Dr. Blattner was skilled, reassuring and helpful. I'm a fan.
I had knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus and would highly recommend Dr. Repine and his PA Laura Kaiser.
Saw Dr. Repine after an urgent care visit for a broken finger. Spent all of 30 seconds in the room, took one look at existing films, handed me a referral card to another surgeon because he was going on vacation, and charged me $185. Referral didn't even pan out, ended up going elsewhere. Also over estimated seriousness of break. I won't be returning and definitely can't recommend.
I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Mead, unlike previous reviewers have noted. She was both friendly and professional. She asked a lot of questions, taking the time to listen and provide feedback. I felt confident in her assessment of my health issue and her subsequent recommendations as a knowledgeable physician.
The one appointment, which lasted about four minutes, was the worst experience I have ever had with a health practitioner. She was dismissive, incomplete and her treatment had to be redone. I changed to a new dermatologist who is great!
Admitted he sees an 8mm stone, in addition to a 3mm.... But said I should try physical therapy for muscles because it couldn't be kidney pain. Was also an hour late, rude, and had me waiting in a staff breakroom because he was so far behind. This guy is obviously milking insurance without actually helping anyone.
Dr. Nordstrom-Lane is fantastic. However, I am leaving this practice because it's impossible to get an appointment. Very limited days in the office and the phones just ring and ring. When I can reach someone, they put me on hold (or I am disconnected) with no resolution to my need. I am sorry to say that the BMC is not what it used to be.
Just got out of surgery two hours ago. Dr. Parks is a rockstar. Had an operation on my ankle that was done with what feels like minimal impact and it was a very efficient process. All the staff involved were very friendly and the anesthesiologist was a pro. I came out feeling minimal drowsiness and absolutely no nausea. A very happy patient here!
Not only is she rude, unfriendly and judgemental but I went in for my yearly pap smear and I am not exaggerating when i say that i almost passed out from the pain. I was not even close to being on my period and ended up bleeding for two days after the pap smear. I'm not sure what went wrong but it was incredibly painful and had a longer lasting effect that certainly wasn't healthy. Not only was I uncomfortable but also in excruciating pain for something so simple.
Susan came highly recommended. But in an appointment with her to address a persistent cough, she dismissed me out-of-hand because I'd recently started a medication where a cough was a possible side effect (yet the cough had been present many months before). What she totally missed was the development of allergies post-menopause, a not uncommon condition. Whereas we could have learned something more together, I was sent away. Another ENT diagnosed me correctly for which I'm getting treatment.
Dr Levine spoke slowly and clearly and took all the time that was necessary to explain my father's situation to him in terms he could understand and by coming at it from all directions to be sure he had a complete understanding.
I went to dr repine for a consultation on my broken hand and was told I needed surgery. I told him I am a chef, a musician, an artist and an avid outdoorsman. He then proceeded to go on vacation and forgot about my surgery. a receptionist told me that "too much time had passed and my hand was healed enough that I should just leave it". I'm left deformed and incapable of using my hand the way I used to. This man is a jerk and I will never recover from this injury. Hope you had a nice vacation.
Most unpleasant Doctor I have ever seen. She is rude and unfriendly. I am so thankful she is not my normal doctor. I will NEVER go back to see her.
i have hashimotos. she listened to me and got me to an optimal dose.
I was having some double vision when I was reading. Dr. McCormack was very efficient at discovering my problem - I'm getting old! But he was very friendly about telling me I need reading glasses and was not at all condescending. He explained the anatomical changes and it all made perfect sense. Would recommend his office.
Very long story, short. Dr. Maran added a charge on my bill, which I was not aware of. Now, in my emergency situation, I've have been banned from seen any physician at any Boulder facility associated with this practice. The amount is $158. (I'm willing to pay ) the but not will not review by their board until this December. I've been out of work for two weeks now, And me lose my job. Thank you so much for the minimal help you gave me and the extraordinary loss , your uncaring and incompetent .
Liz said results would not come in until Mon (from Thurs); I called the lab-they were there on Friday. I called office and was told to submit my question through patient portal - I had fever, could not figure out how to do so; told Liz this -ended up in ER- and now find that I had two messages through patient portal from Liz but she never called me back, just patient portaled me. kidney infection?ER could have been avoided if DR had seen the available urinalysis and started me on antibiotic
I wanted to see a different physician, but I needed an immediate appointment so I saw Dr. Mead as her schedule had an opening. I found the entire experience unpleasant. She was rude, abrupt, and completely unfriendly. I won't go back.
Not sure what to think of the previous comment, because I had the opposite experience. I found Dr. Mead friendly and personable, and made me feel very at ease during the exam.
I have been a patient for nearly 30 years, since he first began practice. My husband and kids go to him now. Dr. Pinto is incredibly knowledgeable and up-to-date on medical information. I appreciate his level of care and willingness to investigate my concerns. He has seen us through many medical emergencies and procedures, and we are grateful for his service.
Superbly trained, makes connections with the variety of endocrine-related conditions that one might have, fully versed in related nutritional issues. As a comparatively older patient with a variety of concerns, I have a great deal of confidence in her.
Excellent office! Angie spends time listening and explaining. She has a great bedside manner and if very thorough.
I think he is terrific. It's rare to find a doctor that seems to care (and remember everything) about your situation. The staff has always been wonderful!
I first met Dr. Maran when I really needed a rheumatologist to address some symptoms I was having. From my first visit and throughout subsequent visits she has always been attentive and caring. She takes the time to manage and treat my symptoms and condition and also takes the time to work through insurance issues. She is readily available and answers any questions that I have e-mailed her through the patient portal that our medical center uses.
I tore my ACL, meniscus and MCL this past winter which was very upsetting. I was referred from a nurse at the urgent care who had also tore her ACL . He was very professional, explained my MRI and answered all questions. When I called in with questions or needs they were always responded to. Before and after my surgery he had considerate bedside manner. He made sure I was on schedule with my rehab and my recovery is going well. Dr. Repine is an excellent surgeon and Doctor.
Dr. Maran has done a wonderful job helping me navigate my RA. She is knowledgable, friendly, and great at getting back to me about my concerns promptly.
My 13 year old daughter went into see Dr. Parks for a ganglion cyst on top of her right foot. To our surprise not only did she have a ganglion cyst but she had a bone cyst in her heel on the same foot. Dr. Parks performed surgery on my daughter and did a beautiful job. We have a long and trusted relationship with Dr. Parks. She is an excellent podiatrist and person. Since the operation, my daughter is now in cross country and has a new leash on life. Many thanks to Dr. Parks and her staff!
Seems very knowledgeable regarding transgender care. Her personality and bedside manner are a bit quick and to the point, but I definitely feel she cares about her patients. The office staff could use some customer service upgrades.
I was referred to Dr. Lerner from Wardenburg at CU Boulder for Type 1 Diabetes care. It was my first time going to Boulder Medical Center and seeing her. My appointment was at 1:40pm, and after I finished with my co-pay and initial paperwork, I went upstairs to the Endocrinology department at 1:45. Dr. Lerner turned me away as a first time patient for being 5 minutes late. Will never go to BMC again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING TO A DIFFERENT ENDOCRINOLOGIST. Horrible experience
Wow. This guy. I came in for a prescription for a cold, which I knew that I had, and instead, he tried to fix something that was not wrong with me, and I didn't end up getting the prescription that I needed.
Staff brusque and unresponsive to patient needs. Unavailable, unhelpful when immediate attention called for. When seeking further clarification and understanding of alternatives for care, told to go elsewhere.
I called from Germany to schedule an appt. I received an apt for 10 days later. I arrived to find out I didn't have an appt. I drove 1 hr and I have a broken ankle so I can't walk. They told me oh well sorry... We can see you in a week. They screwed up they should have worked me in, even if the dr had to stay late. It was their mistake. I WOULD NOT go here.
I was referred to Dr. Perkins when I first was diagnosed with RA 5 years ago. He was atrocious. He used a protocol and my RA was not responding. Drug after drug, appointment after appointment, time passed....... I was still IN PAIN. I left him and went to see Dr. Maran. She immediately prescribed Enbrel and within weeks I was a new woman. I attribute this to Dr. Maran completely. She listened, she cared about my situation, she responded and my health improved. Great staff, comfy chairs.
Dr. McCormack treated me for dry eyes. I had been to two other eye doctors and had no help. Dr. McCormack placed punctal plugs in the office. They were painless and made a huge difference. He has been a researcher in a lot of nation-wide studies and really knows his stuff. I highly recommend him.
I agree with the above rating in regards to Lerner's bedside manner. She seemed rushed with me as well and just unsympathetic and lacked care and concern. She ordered my tests for me and was kind of abrupt about her departure. I will be seeing a different endocrinologist.
Takes the time to discuss your condition and treatment options. Open to considering your thoughts and inputs. Shouldn't be rare but it is.
I have to say she is the best :) You could say I've been a difficult patient (she has had to work on my left foot 5 times) and just having had the 5th one done, I am confident, along with Dr. Parks, that this will fix it! She is a very patient and kind doctor and I would highly recommend her. P.S. Her medical assistant is also awesome - very helpful, friendly and listens to any concerns you might have.
Dr Lischwe is a great primary care doctor who listens well, is always prepared, and always spends enough time with me to answer all my questions.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK! I had an elevated PSA. He recommended the expensive 4K test, which showed 57% chance of aggressive prostate cancer so we did a prostate biopsy. Good news, no cancer. BUT....
The night of the biopsy my wife found me on the floor of the bathroom. Very sick, no fever. Two days later, still not feeling very well I phoned Munch staff and got a prescription for a antibiotic. Ineffective. Landed in hospital for two days. Could have EASILY died from the infection.
Lerner and her nurse are very rushed, unfriendly, very arrogant, will not take time to learn and understand and/or just TALK WITH the patient, very unsympathetic, unwilling to listen, talks down to you as if you know nothing of your condition, will not look at patients history, interrupts, mocking, treats all ages and types of diabetics as a single one from a text book, impatient, forgot what type of diabetes I have, all she mentions for treatment is carb counting.
Intelligent and compassionate man. His demeanor was confidence inspiring and professional.
I would recommend him to anyone in the Boulder, CO area who needs a surgeon.
Wonderfully responsive, friendly, and very competent. As a physician myself, he was a pleasure to deal with. Highest recommendations!
He's very educated and knows his field of work. He's done two of my surgeries and without using radiation to find the cause of the problem, he found the problem with symptoms explained. It's very evident that he has experience in the medical field and I would trust only this surgeon with any surgery. I still have some abdominal issues but he has fixed the ones that he specializes in and more thus far. He has removed my appendix my gallbladder and fixed my bilateral hernia. He's a five-star!
Wow! The most unfriendly Dr. I've ever met. Compassion - Zero. Progressive Knowledge - Poor. Interest in building a relationship - negative. No handshake. No smile. I can't believe she is still practicing with her bedside manner. No wonder it was easy to get an appt! Run for your life before subjecting yourself to this ice queen who was judgmental, left me in tears, feeling bad about myself. And, no, there was no excuse for her behavior as I am a fellow professional. Wish I'd seen this site 1st
Great Dr. ! Always short waiting time when checking in, always friendly and clean.
She is thorough and to the point. I like that she didn't take chances and was honest.
