Fantastic. Supportive, proactive, and thorough... she's awesome. I don't know what that one star dingle was talking about, but I assume he just doesn't understand how ratings work because she is an excellent physician who cares about her patients and works with them to find solutions to the health situations. She will also call you on it if you didn't follow through on your end of the action plan. I could not be happier to have her as my doctor.
Good solid doctor for years but left for another location without notice which was a bit surprising
Thorough. Communicative. Kindest person on earth. Follows through on the little things.
Dr. Ademola is an outstanding physician who has consistently managed my stupidly complex health for over 7 years. This includes coordinating specialty care from at least five specialties along with an extended out-of-state medical emergency. As another review mentioned, she's a good listener, and as for the "English language" comment, I know racism when I see it. She's a thorough physician, a conscientious communicator, and stays current in her field, and I literally trust her with my life.
I had my first appointment after a long time of not seeing a GP, and Dr. Ademola was great. Not only with not making me feel guilty for my 'grin and bear it' attitude towards health, but in thoroughly going through my various minor health issues. She pinpointed a few things that might be earmarks of larger problems and took the time to talk me through next steps. She's a good explainer and an even better listener, and I'm glad to have found her.
This doctor said there is nothing he could do for my wife. Totally arrogant. My wife has a different Dr David Taylor who is a great doctor and actually shows compassion
Kind and compassionate
A good primary care physician listens to and treats their patients like partners. A good primary care physician has excellent communication skills including the English language. A good primary care physician doesn't differ treatment offerings based on one insurance plan vs another, and doesn't abandon patients. A good primary care physician maintains relationships with colleagues of many specialties for referrals. Ademola is NONE OF THE ABOVE.
His is very friendly, direct, professional and thorough. I went to Dr. Badger for a inguinal hernia repair... fairly routine but a health care hiccup for me nonetheless. Dealing with him made it just that... routine. I also noticed that the nursing staff spoke highly of him. That speaks volumes in my book.
Dr Bocian is an amazing doctor! His level or care and clarity is outstanding.
Two years ago, Dr Butler performed laser surgery on both my hands (2 months apart) for carpal tunnel syndrome. The surgeries were successful with minimal scarring (can't see scars unless you are REALLY looking for them). He and the staff at his offices and surgery centers were friendly, professional, and truly caring. I have recommended him numerous times, including for my 86-year old mother.
I don't know why so many 3 star ratings. Dr. Butterfield is a caring and experienced physician who listens to the patient, thoroughly explains medical issues, and takes a personal interest in you. I have seen her for over 10 years. When a neurologist failed to order appropriate testing for a major medical issue, Dr. Butterfield ordered the testing that needed to be done to rule out other serious issues. Yes, the wait is usually 15 minutes but that is because she is spending the time needed.
She is perfect in every way- knowledgeable, answers questions patiently and is extremely kind.
I called to request a medication refill from dr. Angela Wong dr. Sarah Torres received my request rejected my request and I have been taking this medication for a long time for pain now I have to go 5 days without my medications because of dr. Torres shame on her. She claims to listen to her patients however I feel this is incorrect. I would not recommend this doctor at all and especially if you need refills. If I could have given her a zero star I would. Don't go see this doctor.
Dr. Verma stays on top of my condition and lab tests regularly and with clear instructions as to changes needed in doses of medications. He answers questions thoughtfully and clearly, and also confers with Stanford hepatologists on my behalf which I greatly appreciate. Feeling safe in a doctor's care is vital to me, especially when dealing with a troubling disease, and I do feel safe in his care.
We saw her in Urgent Care. She explained things well, was careful to avoid excessive treatment and gave us an informed, balanced view of our son's issue & what to do next.
I found his stated philosophy of "an educated patient is a successful patient" to be true! He clearly explained my foot problem and gave me the pros and CONS of surgery. He also made suggestions of other things I could try. There's not always an easy answer to foot pain but I feel I understand what my choices are.
Dr. Glinder has been seeing my children for nearly 10 years. He exceeds expectations every time. He listens to both the parent and the child. We have a child with life-threatening allergies and 2 others with no concerning medical issues. He is equally available and attentive to all 3. His medical expertise and ability to connect with both the parent and the child is exceptional. I cannot recommend him more highly. I trust no one more than Dr. Glinder when it comes to my children's health.
Dr. Gavin and I discussed my medication and she recommended that I continue on a brand name drug, rather than switch to generic. I requested a prescription and she incorrectly wrote the prescription for the generic. I was sent and charged for the generic and then spent hours trying to get the situation rectified and the correct drug prescribed. The pharmacy didn't want to reimburse me for it. I spoke to 4 people in Dr. Gavin's office and wrote her two letters, which she didn't even respond to
Dr. Gupta was engaging and easy to talk to. She listen to my concerns without making me feel rushed or the issues trite.
Extremely dismissive and not thorough in investigation. Very condescending. Stay away from this provider if you value your health.
Really listens and takes my concerns seriously. Highly recommend.
We switched pediatricians and I took my 12 year old to see Dr. Glinder for the first time last week. My son was very nervous, as he was seeing a new doctor & an annual checkup likely mean shots. When Dr. Glinder entered the exam room he could tell my son was upset and talked to him about why he was sad. Then Dr. Glinder continued to draw my son out using probing questions. He calmed my son by explaining the disease today's vaccination would prevent. I'm so happy we switched to Dr. Glinder!
If you want an arrogant, knife happy, country club golf playing doctor, this is your man.
without a doubt, the WORST. This guy took six weeks off in the middle of my treatment and basically forgot who I was when he came back.
He was completely unhelpful in my recovery from surgery and was arrogant and uninterested throughout.
AVOID AT ALL COST. This is the worst doctor I have ever encountered, and he is a good actor, so you will feel comfortable at first, but don't be fooled.
Fantastic physician! Great listener, compassionate, genuinely cares for her patients and their concerned parents. Highly recommend her. We need more physicians like Dr. Amy Gilliam!
Was able to see me immediately for an urgent concern. Also was able to schedule an immediate MRI. Very efficient and helpful. Explained situation well.
This surgeon saved my life. Kind, gentle, compassionate. I have since moved and without question would fly back if I needed additional surgery.
I am so grateful to have had my knee totally replaced by Dr. Hartford at Sequoia Hospital. All of my PAMF appointments in both Palo Alto and San Carlos were excellent and efficiently run. The Xray department and support staff are professional and kind. All of the nurses and therapists at Sequoia Hospital were excellent too. I am now 5-1/2 weeks post op and recovering well. I already can see this was a life changing surgery for the better.
My experience with Dr. Halligan was a very negative one. I took my son to see him because he had hurt his knee and it wasn't healing as quickly as we thought. His assistant, Meagan, was very mean. She twisted my son's knee in all sorts of awkward positions, even when he kept saying "ouch", to get him to pinpoint where it was hurting. She asked, "Is it A or B?" He said, "Neither, it is C" and she said, "No, is it A or B?" twist some more, until he finally relented and picked B. She smiled.
Caring, Generous with time, listens to patient and their needs.
The local orthopedic doctors sent me to Dr. Gutow as it was a complicated surgery. He did an amazing job. Really appreciated that he took a lot of care with my incision as it was my outer elbow. You cannot even see it!! Very through and took the time to answer all my questions before and after surgery!
Injured my knee awhile back, 1st skiing tearing my meniscus then the 2nd not so exciting. The first surgeon was flawless, he retired.. The less exciting accident in which I fractured my knee cap, this next Dr mediocre. Search for the next flawless surgeon and I believe I found him, Dr Hartford. Never thought I would be walking correctly. But I am, knee is excellent as is Dr Hartford. He knows what he is doing, very good with patients. Thank you Dr Hartford & staff.
REAL PATIENT.Not his mum
Very rushed, even for a yearly physical exam. Impatient, does not answer questions fully. By contrast, the urgent care physicians I've see at PAMF are wonderful, as are the specialists in other departments. Feeling like I need to move on to another Physician.
Dr. Haskell surgically repaired my torn achilles tendon after an attempt at non-surgical repair failed. Dr. Haskell was very professional yet approachable. Took as much time as was needed to answer any questions I had. The surgery went great and the facilities were amazing. His supporting staff was awesome as well. Highly recommended.
Super patronizing / uncomfortable
I just left Dr Llloyd's practice because I couldn't handle the commute from my new home, and it was sad that we couldn't have our three children stay with him. Dr Llloyd is very knowledgeable, nice and not rushed. I am grateful when he saved me unnecessary office visits when I needed to check the baby's heart beat but she was too worked up during a visit, we ran out of time, and he told me to take time and get her to sleep so that he could check her again. We miss Dr Llloyd.
Very friendly and thorough. Explained to me what he thought the problem was and suggested a cream to eleviate the problem. I'll definitely recommend to others.
Dr. Lloyd is outstanding. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, listens and answers every question a paient has. She has skillfully managed my glaucoma and provided me 20-20 vision post cataract surgery. She has my highest recommendation possible in every way. Her staff are professional, well trained, happy, and helpful as well.
Over a period of four years, I was referred to Dr Lloyd three times for glaucoma evaluations. In each of my first two visits, she assured me that despite my complaints of vision problems, I did not have glaucoma. On the third visit, four years from the first and two from the second, she told me that I had moderate stage glaucoma and significant permanent field damage. I immediately began consophthalmologist's ophthalmologists outside PAMF who were very surprised that she had missed this.
wonderful and helpful....
I had a lithotripsy on oct 4th and Dr. Lee took very good care of me so I would give him a five star or excellent job on me as everything is working out well since surgery
I admit Dr. Keith Lee is warm and kind but I had been having these UTI symptoms for 5 months. I went to him couple of times for help, was told it was a stricture so he dilated my urethra. No improvement. Kept contacting him, I was told the dilation should've treated me. He told me to go meditate and try a holistic approach. I found a new doctor who actually found abnormality in my biopsy. I was a little disappointed with this doctor.
I was very impressed with her care.
Competent, compassionate good listener and willing to prescribe the latest and most effective blood cancer medicines. Willing also to write letters to insurance companies that help getting them to approve blood cancer medicines for sometimes off label uses. Efficient office staff.
Rushes, doesn't answer questions passionately nor throughly.
Overworked as all are at pamf, but no excuse for poor empathy and perspective-taking. Inappropriate to focus on own stress rather than client concerns.
She was our family doctor and she is the best doctor we ever had.
Dr Price is amazing. He took care of me at Stanford Hospital with a 90% blocked artery, and had me up and going. Great Dr and amazing person.
I visited Dr. Pierce because I had a persistent (6 week+) problem with fluid in my inner ear affecting my hearing.
Dr. Pierce proceeded with a standard procedure to pierce the eardrum and suction out the fluid.
After the procedure was complete Dr. Pierce mentioned that the fluid may return (it did). I then receive a bill $1,156 for a 20 min. visit. So, was his motivation to correct the root-cause of my problem (infection) or to profit from a procedure to apply a temporary fix for the symptoms
Dr. Michael O'Holleran is an excellent surgeon. He listens to your concerns and very patient in explaining the conditions and treatment necessary. He's a surgeon with a good heart who truly helps his patients. Answers your questions patiently and clearly. Doesn't rush you during your appointments. At first I got so scared, and when he said "I will take care of you." I simply put my trust in him, and everything went smooth. He's very caring and funny too. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. O'Holleran is an excellent physician and surgeon. He is open, honest and very clear about condition and options. Highly recommend for any concerns that may require surgery.
Worked with Dr. Ratanasiripong for both neck and knee issues. He's knowledgeable and caring. Wonderful provider!
Dominique Chavotte Kalendar is a wonderful physician and has been so for over 28 years when I last saw her. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a competent intelligent and compassionate physician.
My favorite doctor ever. She is amazing.
I've been seeing Dr. Price for 1-1/2 years following my initial cardiac crisis in 2014. I've had at least 24 office visits during that time. He has also performed several angiograms on me -- all were very successful. He also provided pre- and post-surgical care for me care for my recent open heart surgery. He listens very well and carefully monitors my health. He discusses treatment options and explains his recommendations. He is one of the best doctors I've ever had.
Above all, Dr Mike O'Holleran is a skilled surgeon. But in addition, he listens patiently and fully answers all my questions. Explains everything well, always sets me completely at ease, is accessible by phone and doesn't ever seem rushed. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Naylor is an excellent podiatrist. I am taking my daughter to him for foot and ankle issues. I have complete confidence in him and I would highly recommend him to family and friends.
Sorry wouldn't recommend
Dr. Narayan had noticed a brief (4 second) instance of ventricular tachycardia and recommended that I let him "install" an Implated Cardiac Defibrillator (ICD) as my heart was succeptable to Atrial arrythmias already. I did and all was well for 4 years when I had a severe VTach episode that would have ended my life if I did not have the ICD. It shocked me 3 times before my heart rate slowed to under 150 bpm and I was transported to Duke (we live in NC now). Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Dr. Moon is extremely professional, timely, and knowledgeable. He explained my options and offered advice at every stage of the process. I highly recommend him for hand-related injuries.
After going to the Emergency room for a muscle pull under my knee they took xrays ( I knew I didn't hit my knee and it felt like a muscle pull but better safe then sorry ) and as I expected it was all clear. When I went to see Dr. Wey they said that they would have to take the xrays again, I can even understand that but it sure sounds like a money maker. But I was not even able to talk to the Doctor and was accused of not really going to the ER, that was uncalled for.
I had emergency late-night surgery with Dr. Whang, whom I was meeting for the first time. Her calm, empathic, and obvious competency reassured me immediately. It helped that my primary care physician had already clued me in that I had lucked out in getting an outstanding surgeon who happened to be on call when I needed her.
Did not really seem like he was interested in solving any foot problem. Did not look at my feet closely (ie was 5 feet away) to see what was causing pain. Not interested in doing full exam to get to root of problems. It seemed like he was as disinterested in feet as any random person off the street.Had more pain the next day. Totally wasted appointment.
Fantastic doc! Expertise and staff were stellar. I needed additional prep, which could have been an ordeal; but his recommendations were easy and effective, and they were able to see me later the same day. First time colonoscopy. Bedside manner of entire staff was exceptional.
He did not care what I wanted, only what he wanted. Did not pay any attention at all to my needs. If he had his way I'd be limping around for a few more years, at age 67 that makes zero sense ..... well maybe to him it does. He'd have another patient which I suspect is a problem for him ...
He did not even examine my knee. When I met another more competent orthopedic surgeon , who took my needs more seriously, he put me on the schedule immediately for the total knee
Knowledgeable, caring, professional.
A hands on doctor who knows how to listen and makes a real effort to understand my attitudes, concerns and issues as well as the disease. She is warm and supportive and takes the time needed to deal with an issue. Very responsive to email queries. Up-to-date, but not in a rush to use new technology or drugs just because they are new. Perhaps a bit too quick to see the positive in imaging and test results when there might be a darker side. A rare find: a great clinician and fine person.
This is my first pregnancy, and Dr. Kim has been an amazing Doctor! My mother recommended that I see her since she is also her doctor. I am very happy with her and trust her very much!
Dr Khan is friendly and willing to get to know you before treatment. He performed bilateral arthroscopic surgery on my knees. He explained the procedure and likelihood of improvement and success. He stressed patient responsibility for post-op rehab and PT. I would recommend him to others needing his services.
Dr. Chen was a breath of fresh air. I had two prior surgeries with another doctor that did not take care of my knee issues. He took the time to listen to me and his follow up was excellent. Dr. Chen was able to do the surgery that got me on the road to recovery! I had the last surgery 6 weeks ago and I'm almost completely back to pre-injury health! I can't say enough good things about him! I would definitely recommend him to family and friends!
I found Dr. Choi to be knowledgeable and friendly.
Very intelligent, compassionate and kind. She isn't just a regular matter of fact oncologist but someone who is interested in treating the whole person. She is also concerned about the value of your personal life. Great bedside manner.
I had an invasive, triple negative breast cancer. With the BRCA1 gene, both breasts had to go. Still young (under 50) I was a perfect candidate for DIEP. Dr. Chang highly recommended it. I was scared, at first, but now, almost one year out, I could not be happier with the results. Yes, at first you may want to die, but you do recover. The breasts look totally natural. The tummy tuck was difficult at first, much appreciated now. My husband says I look even better than when we married!
I asked him about nutrition. He knew very little.
He has poor bedside manner. No care or thought for his patients.
I can't believe anyone would give him ratings less than 5 star. We had him after trying out 2 other pediatricians for our first son. He was amazing, calm, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. We moved out of California later and had our 2nd child elsewhere and I've not been able to find a pediatrician quite as good as him! You'd be lucky to have him.
Dr Coleman is very friendly and knowledgeable. She is a popular doctor, it's almost impossible to schedule an appointment with her.
Dr. Deneau has been my dermatologist for about 25 years. In this period I have repeatedly been faced with the question of how to react to diagnoses of common skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma) and pre-cancerous conditions (actinic keratosis). He has unfailingly served me with skill and friendliness.
I have a long standing urethral stricture that has been treated since I was a child by dilation with urethral sounds. Dr. Yao took it upon himself to "cure" this at the patient age of 53. Without consultation with another urologist and contrary to patient concerns, when Yao he found he had erred through his arrogance he didn't open the urethra but instead inserted a catheter through the abdomen directly into my bladder. This can't now be reversed. Thanks Jerk.
Asked me a lot of questions. First visit was over 40 minutes. Addressed all of my concerns and explained everything clear and concise.
He didn't diagnose my symptoms correctly. I had to see another Dr. in two days because I felt worse. I was diagnosed with pneumonia.
Dr Dyner has been wonderful with our twins. Offering advice and counsel above and beyond a pediatrician's responsibilities. She has a great rapport with our kids. My only complaint is that she only works 3 days a week, so sometimes when we are sick we see her partner. But her partner is wonderful too.
Dr. Floyd is unmatched in terms of doctors. Really, truly - I am now living across the country from her and am finding that it is impossible to find another doctor who will really care about me and take care of me the way that Dr. Floyd did. She is the WARMEST, most sincere, smart, helpful doctor that you could imagine. She epitomizes the art of being truly present with her patients, and goes above and beyond to provide individualized support and care.
Do not go to this doctor. I went to her 6 months ago complaining about symptoms. She minimized them. And incorrectly treated my hypothyroidism. Accused me of wanting to lose weight. After 3 visits in the past month to the ER, I've been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
Dr Eisenberg is excellent! Evan after moving from the area, I haven't changed because I trust him. He listens and helps you through the good and bad times. I wouldn't trade him for a million bucks!
I highly recommend him!
Dr. Eisenberg is knowledgeable and compassionate physician who regularly goes above and beyond. He is the primary physician for 3 generations of my family and has been for over 20 years. I truly believe my mother lived an extra 10 years because of his outstanding care and the team of PAMF physicians he assembled to care for her many needs.
Genuinely concerned and very kind to both parents and children. We switched from our original pediatrician to her, when our pediatrician was never available and Dr. Dyner was always willing to squeeze us in. She follows up to emails, and calls very promptly.
Felt like I was supposed to know what a physical entailed and felt like my concerns were ignored. Did not feel like she cared about my health at all.
I appreciated his straight forward yet discreet tone. When it is not his area of expertise and a reference is needed, he recommends the very best specialists.
Although Dr Eakin was scheduled until the end of the year, he took the time and made room to see me. I start the Police Academy (at age 48) in March. He was able to see and access my knee. His wonderful scheduler, Linda, worked my surgery in and I was additionally pleased with Dr Eakin as a man of faith and his convictions. I will be referring my family and friends to him.
Dr. Huang correctly diagnosed a cough which I have had for more than 20 years, after it had been mis-diagnosed by multiple other doctors, including other pulmonologists. She has been very easy to communicate with, very patient and very helpful.
Dr. Joelson is extraordinary. He is one of the few neurologists that specializes in chronic headaches, and his experience with serious headaches is far beyond anyone I have ever seen. Having had migraines for more than 30 years and seeking treatment from so many specialists, Dr. Joelson is orders of magnitude above the rest. Finally, my migraines are under control, solely thanks to this doctor.
Do not like giving a poor review but Judy Huang endangered my health by not listening, not carefully reviewing my history, making a serious and wrong diagnosis w/out data and not following established SOC. After being in her care I had an emergency that was according to my new doctor was completely avoidable. Her diagnostic approach was random and her interpretation of data led her to make hasty conclusions with negative impact, distress and pain to me and my family. Pls consider help elsewhere.
In terms of medical knowledge, Dr. Joelson knows about as much as any Neurologist you can see at PAMF. However, when it comes to human compassion and understanding for what his patients are going through, this guy really doesn't have a clue. If you have very serious concerns, or need someone that will truly care about your well-being as a whole person (and not just a list of symptoms), do yourself a favor and schedule with someone else.
Dr. Huang is very personable and caring. She takes the time to get to the bottom of health issues. She actually listens and follows through coordinating with other specialists. Highly recommend!
She is one of the most professional, compassionate, and caring physicians I've ever met. Dr. Hsu has a rare gift of treating her patients with the big picture in mind. She has gone above and beyond for my son and has changed my family's life. I cannot speak more highly of this doctor. She also spends time away from her family to regularly volunteer abroad to help underserved populations.
She is a great listener, cares about children and long-term results.
Very happy to have Dr. Ilic as my primary care provider for past 7 years. She listens and really has a conversation with you as to issues affecting your health. I completely trust her judgment and medical expertise and I plan to keep her as my PCP for as long as she will have me.
Dr Ilic cared for my father the last 5yrs of his life when he moved to California to be near his children. He came to her as a complicated patent, with many different healthcare issues and needs. She was patient, kind, considerate, respectful and absolutely EVERYTHING anyone could possible want in a physician, and more. She didn't just care for my father, but helped our entire family navigate services and care for his final days. We will be forever grateful to her and other PAMF specialist
Doc jumps to diagnosis without even evaluating . Very bad experience.
Dr. Hunter is a top-notch anesthesiologist. He was very responsive to my concerns about excessive nausea from anesthesia and was informative regarding options to prevent a repeat of the previous situation I was in from another surgery. He gave me medications that prevented me from having any bad effects and checked on me when I was in the recovery room.
I wouldn't recommend him at all unless your child is dying, and if he/she is, he won't care. What a rude man. Bad attitude. Acts like he is tired of working -- so why doesn't he retire? Many bad experiences with him!
We were lucky enough to have Dr. Sukhdeo in Packard hospital for the delivery of our son. We were close to having a C-section and I credit him and an excellent nurse for getting things moving when they had stalled. He may not be a soft-lights-and-gentle-music kind of guy, but he knows what he is doing and got our baby delivered safely, which in this case meant quickly. A first-rate obstetrician. The respect of the staff was also evident in their interactions with him.
I've had the great good fortune of being one of Dr. Stegman's patients for over 30 years. She is completely knowledgable, wise, kind, compassionate, and communicates clearly (with a nice dose of humor). Highest recommendation.
Amazing doctor who goes out of her way. Squeezed me in for multiple appointments during her time off when my earlier pregnancy was not viable. Gave us a very sensible game plan to deal with complications. Made a lot of great calls that resulted in our healthy son being delivered and a fast recovery for me. Well loved doctor highly respected by her peers... we heard over and over again how great she is and for good reason!
Thank you so much, Dr. Shin!
Horrible in my opinion.
Did not use any anesthesia for a procedure I have and terrible bedside manner.
Failed to diagnosis clear symptoms of shingles.
I met Dr Saxena approximately 4 months ago. I have had sever ankle pain for 2 years prior. Dr. Saxena examined me, requested an MRI and scheduled surgery after careful diagnosis. I owe my future overall health to Dr Saxena - I am back in the gym and running again after 2 years - he is a miracle worker with gifted hands. I have not had any pain post surgery and had taken no pain killers. Dr Saxena is a man who listens carefully, evaluates, speaks to the patient in detail before moving forward.
Felt I welcomed. Staff at front needs a lesson or two on customer service . His fellow was rude .
Dr. Ryu is incredibly compassionate, skillful, and everything in between. He's everything you'd want in a surgeon. He was trained at Stanford, nonetheless, but what really stands out to me is his bedside manner and his genuine care for his patients. I had my second spinal surgery just under 1 year ago with Dr. Ryu, coming off a failed surgery 4 years prior (different surgeon). I met with Dr. Ryu several times before committing and he was very patient. I'm feeling better than ever. So thankful!
I am a high level high school athlete who was referred to him. All he wanted to talk about is all of the athletes he has treated. I felt like he did not care about me.
Dr. Russo always takes the time to listen and answers my questions. He articulates things in a simple way which makes it easy to understand. He is very kind and understanding. I totally trust his knowledge and skills. He is an outstanding doctor in every way.
Very arrogant and didn't help me with my condition at all after 3 visits. I went to another doctor who diagnosed me and cured me after 1 visit
Dr. Rose has a incredible bed side manner and put me at ease especially when he gave me an injection in my knee (at the joint). This is a series of 3 injections, you may not feel relief from osteo arthritis until after series. He explains all treatments and options, some that are more invasive requiring surgery, but may not alleviate the pain I feel when walking. Most patients feel relief after second injection. I don't like needles and he put me at ease.
One of the finest doctors I've ever seen.
Dr. Schneider examined my injury and my x-rays, and other than say there is nothing broken offered very little information on how to heal the injury, what to do or what to avoid. Treated me like she just wanted me to go away and not bother her with that little thing.
He is the best most kind caring helpful Dr. He gives old fashioned medicine the definition. What a great dr, I thank God he is soo understanding and proactive to help his patients and caters to their needs. When you have a critical medical issue hes calming and thinks out of the box and he´S open to working out treatment plans and cares deeply about his patients comfort.he is sensitive abd listens and is never hurried.
What a wonderful dr in which we can entrust our lives with.
She miscalculated my newborn's weight loss and sent me into a panic that she had lost too much weight. When I calculated it myself I realized she had been way off, and that my infant was right on track. My baby is now over a year and has had a textbook-perfect growth curve, but we switched pediatricians after the 3rd visit because in addition to her mistakes she was also not very sensitive or supportive of a new flustered mother.
I've had Dr. Matthews for years now and absolutely love him. GREATEST doctor EVER! Caring, patient, understanding, takes time and listens to you. You never feel like he's in a hurry to move on to next patient. If they had a thousand stars, that would be him.
Very pleasant, supportive and encouraging.
Our current pediatrician recommended a vaccine to be administered. We called and set up an appointment with Julia Martino for the vaccination of our child as our provider was not available that day. A week later, after I took a day off in preparation for the visit, we are called by the office saying that doctor Martino does not "do injections". How is she a MD if she cannot "do injections"? If she cannot be trusted with a needle then I will not trust her with the well being of my child.
She performed a hemorrhoid ligation on me a few months ago. She warned me that it might return and it did, but that's not the reason for my low review. Very little of what she told me to expect happened as she predicted. What she assured me was going to be a low pain recovery was anything but (no pun intended). When I reached out for help, she reiterated that I try a warm bath again, which hadn't worked. Overall, I did not like her "bedside manner."
I can?t comment on the competency of Doctor Marks. I made an appointment for an office visit; the day before my appointment I received a call that Doctor Marks had reviewed my medical records and decided to not perform the surgery because it was too complicated for her.
She is not a bad surgeon, her information on the Internet indicated that she had lots of experience as a surgeon, but when the facts surface and the procedure is complicated, Doctor Marks may back out at the last minute.
There doctor is not able to manage her schedule. Dr. Marx is either running late or her office will call to cancel an appointment at the last minute. It is very disrespectful to waste people's time like this. My recommendation: find another office that is better organized and the doctor is available to their patients.
ECH wanted to remove mom's gall bladder the day after ERCP procedure but we did not agree with that & I sought Dr Marks to do the surgery at what she determined would be a better time. PAMF had discontinued doing surgeries at Stanford H so she offered us an option to either have her do the surgery at Sequoia or her colleague at Stanford. She advised to wait 4 weeks after the ERCP. When we went for the preOp we were surprise to find she'd managed to do it at Stanford & everything went verywell.
Dr. Marks was top notch. I found her friendly, relaxed and informative. She put me at ease about my procedure (gallbladder removal) I had very little pain and no post-operative infections. I would trust her again to do another surgery.
