Wow! Very short visit. I saw him as a new patient.
My former Cardiologist no longer accepts my insurance.
I was rushed out of his office after a few minutes.
I was diagnosed with "Constrictive Pericarditis"
By my Former Cardiologist.
If Dr. Gregory allowed any questions from me they would have been,
I can't breath when I bend over, can you help me?
I get very fatigued with very little Exercise, How much is to much?
Can you do anything to help me?
Dr Gen is extremely knowledgeable and on top of his game! He welcomed me into his office after having problems finding a cardiologist that would take my insurance. He is gentle and kind and took ample time with me to answer any questions I had! I will recommend him to everyone!
Dr. Javed saw my brother for heart failure at a local hospital at the beginning of this year 2017. He has seen him in his office for follow up for hospital discharge. He is so wonderful. He's caring and has gone out of his way for my brother. He has been kind and empathetic with not only with my brother, but also with me and our family. Thank you Dr. Javed, you are a God-send.
Spoke to me one on one. Made me feel like I madder.
Dr. Gregory takes time to really listen to his patients. I had been going to another cardiologist and had been worsening in health. Dr. Gregory listened to me and looked at my health history. Then he told me to stop taking three of the formerly prescribed medications from my other cardiologist, and felt that I had been over-medicated. He also increased one of my other prescriptions to two pills a day. Within 24 hours I was feeling so much better and have improved since.
Although waiting time is long, he is a great Dr. who is knowledgeable of what he is doing. He has extended my life because of this. His staff works well together to make your visit as relaxing and informative as possible. Some patients do not realize that amount of time waiting is because another patient is having troubles and the Dr. is treating that patient until he is safe. One always has the option of rescheduling if needed. It's your life, are you worth the wait?
If you can get thru the quagmire of phone tags you may be lucky enough to get an appointment! But beware, the staff seems to be specially trained to block you at every curve! Good luck!
I HAVE HAD A DIFFICULT TIME GETTING THROUGH TO HIM THE PHONE SERVICE IS AWFUL, HE IS QUICK TO CHANGE MEDICATIONS. I HAVE 7 MEDICATIONS THAT WE HAVE DISCONTINUE IN THE LAST 5 MONTHS..I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS GOOD OR BAD . JUST AN OBSERVATION..NOTHING HAS WORKED SO FAR. VERY BUSY OFFICE BUT WHEN YO GET IN THE SERVICE IS GOOD AND HE SEEMS TO CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS.
I am a recent patient of Dr. Javed after working with several other Cardiologists in Fresno. My experience with him is outstanding.
I only saw him twice in the almost 2 years I have been going there, was in Fresno Comm Hsp overnight for observation, he was notified by my daughters I was in there, and frightened, neither he nor his PA came or called me even after being discharged, was disappointed they didn't even follow up..then after my last apt, the SPECT test, the girl at the apt desk was in such a hurry, she was scheduling me for an ultra sound I had NO knowledge about when the paper clearly said follow-up, very rude
He did testing very fast so he was able to clear me for surgery on my broken arm.
My son was diagnosed with a prolapsed mitral valve and surgery was recommended. We wanted a second opinion and was refereed to Dr. Gregory. He preformed an ultra sound to determine the severity of his condition. To our surprise Dr. Gregory said surgery was not needed as the valve was functioning properly and no treatment was necessary. Always get a second opinion! If it deals with the heart Dr. Gregory is highly recommended for not only repairing hearts but for having one. Thank God for this Dr.
Unreal wait...hours every visit. Likes to hear himself talk. Care recommendations inconsistent. Staff operate like automatons- do OK with routines, but can be unresponsive and rude when challenged. Not what one needs when emergencies arise.
Dr. Gen is kind, professional, willing to explain things if you ask. He is busy because there are so many heart patients so you will see his Physicians Assistant or Nurse Practioner a lot but he has good ones working for him. He is caring and will do all he can for you.
Dr. Gen helped save my life. He is amazingly knowledgeable; has read my test results and medical history before every appointment; is prepared to see me when I arrive; he LISTENS, and gives his full attention to even the most minor of details; and his experience has led me to specialists who assisted in a diagnosis for my very rare condition. He's a confident, competent physician without the ego. I could not recommend him more highly.
