Dr. Ho is lovely, cutting edge, and knows his stuff. However, trying to deal with Marilyn in the office is a nightmare. She is in charge of helping patients get their prescriptions and is uncommunicative, unresponsive, NEVER available by phone, and is then rude and dismissive on the few off chance occasions I’ve pegged her down by demanding the poor receptionist find her. She does not do her job and ruins the experience of the practice. Time for a replacement!

Dr. Lashkari is a truly EXCELLENT doctor; thoughtful, compassionate, well-spoken and very knowledgeable. I switch from another oncologist to him and it was one of the best things I have done in my ongoing treatment for breast cancer. Totally recommend!

Dr. Shaye is great, but the office staff cannot process prescriptions in a timely fashion. I wait for my cancer drugs every month, often missing my start date, because the staff will not respond to requests (faxes and phone calls) from Optum Pharmacy to send the recent prescription from Dr. Shaye. This is getting old. Another doctor told my wife that Shaye's office has a reputation of inefficiency throughout the West Hills medical center. I love Dr. Shaye, but really tired of going through this EVERY MONTH!! Staff, please, get your sh*t together or you will lose me and other patients. You're becoming the laughing stock of the West Hills Med Center. Focus up and RESPOND to Optum, and us, when we/they call. Better yet, call them first, as soon as you get Shaye's prescription, and avoid delays in delivering a life saving drug. Thank you.

Its not very often that I bother to file any surveys. But I doing this this time. The most important thing I believe is not how clean the office is (and its very clean) Not how much time I wait to see the Dr. I measure someone by my level of TRUST. and CARE. And I trust and feel Dr. LASHKAR REALLY CARES AND THATS IS WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO ME.

After a nine month pregnancy my fiancé who is named tulip had developed to stage four and oncologist Ashkari tried his best to save her life. He immediately connected with his colleagues and formed a group of specialist to best plan a critical solution of treatment. My fiancé had over five or six tumors in random areas of her body, one being the size of a bb on her brain another six inches large on the outer hip. He destroyed all but the one on the brain which killed her. He is a great Dr.

Doctor Ho took one month to return me a routine lab result, one that was available but not communicated to me for 15 business days of that month. Over the span of those days I made 4 attempts to obtain these results, including an in-person visit to one of his offices. I was given the most ridiculous excuses. When he finally took 90 seconds of his workweek to call me there was no apology for the delay, no regard for the difficulty in getting ahold of him. No basic human compassion whatsoever.

Dr Shaye is the best doctor for a patient with cancer. He is professional, personable, and extremely knowledgeable. He is clear when explaining the diagnosis and treatment options. He is comforting and positive in his communications. He is only interested in the best outcome for his patients. Front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. Insurance dept is awesome. Treatment nurses and Phlebotomists are excellent. Best care you could receive.
