Interim Psychiatric Care

Dr. Nakai listened to me. He heard my responses. I did not feel like I had taken a number and that my appointment was on a timer.

Dr. Nakai is very patient with me. He has an answer for all my questions (which are many). I have suffered with severe depression and anxiety all my life and have had a void in my heart wondering who my biological parents were. I never met them or even seen pictures of them. I was blessed to be placed with a wonderful American family, they were missionaries in Brazil, where I was born. Thank you Dr. Nakai for listening to me and helping me figure out what i've been feeling all my life. Your staff is awesome, they never make me feel as if I'm bothering them or that i'm asking ridiculous questions. God bless you all . I am so ready to deal with these feelings of abandonment with your help Dr. Nakai.

He’s ok. I’ve been to many psychs over the years so I know what meds work for me and he was willing to prescribe what I needed. However I think if you are new to psych he wouldn’t be a good dr. to start with.

I have Been with Dr. Nakai since 2011. His office is packed for a reason! He is GREAT!! He is the only Dr my daughter would Ever deal with. And we all trust him very much. He cAn be like a life coach at times and has a wealth of knowledge to give. Love him! Won’t change!

I feel very comfortable with the Dr. He gave me some good suggestions. He was a great sounding board.

I had a horriable experience with him the majority of my appointments he didn't even give me the 45 min that I paid for. I visit I only got 15 min . He had me manipulate my son into coming in with me, which back fired causing my relationship with my son toto get worse. He made feel like he didn't have enough time for me or my depression &my condition of bipolar was of no importance, causing my delicate state of mind to become worse

After months of attending appointments with Dr. Nakai, I was left feeling like he didn't care to really listen to what I had to say. He was not willing to listen to me for more than 10 minutes tops and every appointment was very rushed. This man is rude, stubborn, and arrogant. He doesn't take into consideration how his patients feel and how medication side effects are affecting them. I did my research on medications but he wouldn't work with me to find something that worked for me.
