I have now seen Dr. Portales several times for his help on some anti-aging therapies. As a career veteran in medical devices I have worked with many clinicians so I can say with confidence that Dr. Portales knows his stuff but he does a terrific job of relating with patients and adjusting his plain spoken communications to be very patient friendly and easily understood. It is clear than he sincerely care for the welfare of his patients based upon his interactions and personal follow up post procedure. You can also tell much about a person by the way they engage with their team - Dr. Portales treats his staff with the utmost respect and it is obvious that he has created a comfortable environment based upon teamwork. I can recommend Dr. Portales with confidence.

I am so fortunate that 10 years ago, I found Dr. Portales. He offers the small town, old school personal care that I need to live a healthy life. He actually cares what concerns I have and provides options in my health care. Even though I have group insurance and see a primary doctor. The insurance doctors only offer a lot of delays in just getting proper information , care and healthy results that I seek. I always feel I am pushed off to another visit . Been with him ever since Santa ana hes personal.and isnt just all.abojt the cash . Some doc are just med pushers I'd have to say hes one.of.the few good docs in OC..I've reccomended my family and closes.friends.due to.the fact he cares and is a genuinely good man

they keep changing how much money they charge. And now I'm getting a weird bill from Michigan wanting more money for "lab tests." I did not authorize this. This guy is shady as heck. Most patients probably pay his surprise $100 extra fees because they are desperate for their medication, but not me. I will take my business elsewhere.

Dr. Portales is amazing! He is the best doctor that I have found out there. He is very personable and understanding. You can tell he really cares about his patients. The office and medical staff follows suit with excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend and have recommended Dr. Portales to all my family and friends.
