Dr. Keene is a really good diagnostician. I first heard about him when he solved a friend' s chronic fatigue issue realizing it was a genetic inability to metabolise B vitamins. Then through motion testing found I had a rib out in my back that was causing pain when I lifted my arm when another doctor had written off to "arthritis" and offered me coritsone shots instead of putting my rib back in place like Dr. Keene. He isvery humorous, and has seen me at my scheduled time for 3 visits.
Dr. Massie was my doctor for over 20 years. She earned my trust and losing her as my PCP was a blow. I'm not sure I will ever find another doctor with her combination of gentle firmness, honesty, medical knowledge, intelligence and humor. She exuded calm and caring. Her willingness to incorporate alternative health options (e.g., chiropractic, acupressure, herbal supplements) was important to me. I hope she is still practicing somewhere, because she is a gifted healer and wonderful person.
I've never felt so comfortable and safe with a doctor. She's thorough and detailed and I love having her as my primary physician. She's also always quick to respond and so helpful with any questions that I have. Best physician ever!
Dr. Smith took her time during my visit (first one in a long time) listening to my concerns and problems. After my visit, she sent a message to follow up on my flu shot because I did express some concern when she suggested I get it due to my job involving spending lots of time with kids. She's a great doctor and I couldn't be happier with having her as my PCP.
Michelle Massie is an excellent primary care physician. She has been our primary care physician for 20 years. Not only does she listen and ask questions, but will, when rarely stumped, research our until she find the right diagnosis and treatment. She focuses on prevention and diagnosis. Her vast and current knowledge of conventional medicine is supplemented by her extensive knowledge of alternative methods.
Saw her 3 times in 4 years-1&2) reg physical, 3)follow up tests for new symptoms. She failed to read my chart before my appointment, missing that I went to ER & additional tests run. Despite physical symptoms- fainting three times over the last month and having only one period in the last 4 months, she refused to run hormone tests, instead suggested Prozac, no investigation into my mental state to warrant prescription. Want to wait weeks for antidepressants instead of answers? Give her a go.
Superbly competent PCP who managed my complex care for 13 years. She had my complete confidence, and in addition to her competence she demonstrated compassion. Losing her due to recent PAMF actions represents a devastating loss to me and undermines my sense of well-being and ability to cope with complex health factors. As a licensed clinical psychologist with 23 years' VA practice I am well aware of the impact of abandonment by provider on patient. That is exactly the effect of PAMF actions.
I've had appointments with Anne a few times for reproductive and sexual health and found her absolutely wonderful. Anne inserted my IUD with so much care and grace and made check up's comfortable and informative. She is helpful, nonjudgemental, caring, patient and all around terrific! Would definitely recommend.
I highly recommend Anne Davis for any general health care services. My first visit with her was not planned but I needed assistance asap and her staff fit me into the schedule on the same day. She displayed such kindness, patience, and genuine concern for my well being that it truly surprised me. I plan to continue going to Ms. Davis for all needs that she can meet.
