Rolled his eyes at me when I asked him to put his mask over his nose. While covid numbers are climbing again. He was completely dismissive about my concerns about medication side effects. Labs confirmed there was damage. His covering MD had insisted I come in for an immediate appointment due to dangerous symptoms-- he was dismissive and condescending. I had to insist on full labs. I don't know the purpose of having NO people skills and completely lacking medical knowledge.

Kerry Sullivan could better inform Pectus Excavatum patients of Decreased exercise tolerance Rapid heartbeat or heart palpitations Recurrent respiratory infections Wheezing or coughing Chest pain Heart murmur Fatigue Dizziness Mental Distress Instead of saying that they tend to be skinny and that the condition is solely cosmetic. Approaching a decade of this condition and just wish I wasn't mislead by this person. (Even the skinny statement is not entirely true as deformed ribs and rib flare may cause potbelly.)

My Uncle was a patient of Dr. Jeffrey Phan. After attending an appt to ask for a referral for a nurologist, my uncle decided to switch to a new doctor. In the appt Dr. Phan refused to listen to any of our concerns and brushed off my uncle's scary memory issues as old age. Then, he proceeded to tell my uncle if he had dementia or alzhimers there was nothing anyone could do about it. At that point, I reminded my uncle that he was not a nurologist, then asked the doctor to please refer my uncle to someone who could help. Dr. Phan refused to even look at me. My uncle, who suffers from extreme anxiety was visibly upset and shaking (he is a 78 yr old man). At that point I asked Dr. Phan to step outside to speak with me. He got right in my face (invading my personal space) and lied saying he had been treating my uncle for decades (my uncle has only been seeing him since 2017 after he moved from Oregon). He attempted to intimidate me (I'm 4'11"), but I have a bigger brain and better manners. I

The doctor cancelled my appointment last minute when I was in severe back pain. This shows how unprofessional he is. And they scheduled me for 2 days later. Why book an appointment when you can't keep it? and if you need to cancel is atleast have the courtesy of rescheduling correctly with another doctor. Extremely disappointed.

Gastroenterology
Horrible. Then again, he didn't even have the professional courtesy to talk to me about his unwarranted conclusion in refusing to perform a scheduled colonoscopy I prepped for. As a long time Kaiser patient with a disposition to colon polyps, he didn't even discuss the KP-approved method (Miralax & Doculax) I used to clean my digestive tract as best as possible. This physician didn't even try to remove what polyps could be detected in my lower tract. I suspect the nurse also had a heavy hand in this arbitrary decision. Perhaps the Caduceus is more appropriate than the Rod of Asclepius after all.

Three years ago I was transferred into Dr Arsene’s care and it has been night and day to my previous GP. She has a lack of empathy to situations and is completely impersonal; questioning why I want general work and tests done as well as a complete lack of care to know who her patients are. Again, it’s been three years and my inquiry to begin taking PrEP was met with a copied list of qualifications as if she didn’t know I was a gay male who has been in her care for as long as I have. Now with my coronavirus test coming back positive I am circumventing her terrible care and handling of my situation, and switching GP.

Dr. Pham removed 2 cysts on my first visit. Although the one on my forehead returned(like many others I've had removed from my facial area) the experience with the Doctor was very pleasant and she is very talented as well. The second removal of the cyst was successful and her follow up was excellent both times.

I had hip replacement surgery, due to osteoarthritis. In spite of the pain I was very hesitant to have the surgery. From our first meeting Dr. Khapchik came across as trustworthy. He and his staff were very thorough in explaining the procedure, the risks, the preparation, the recovery, and answering all my questions and concerns. The surgery went very well, the post-surgery support was excellent. And the results - eight months later - are amazing. The pain is gone and I now can walk and climb stairs normally again. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Dr. Khapchik.

Priya always genuinely listens to you. She takes the time to answer all your questions or concerns. She truly cares about her patients. I moved to another city and it takes a bit of time to get there. But I will gladly drive it to have her as my doctor.

Dr. Sullivan is wonderful. I would recommend her 100%. She was friendly, considerate, and took the time to explain things thoroughly. My 5 day old newborn had to have surgery and it was the scariest thing but i pon meeting Dr. Sullivan all my worries were at ease as much as possible. I trust her completely with the care of my child.

Dr. Sun is a wonderful doctor. She is very caring and thorough, and she listens. She never makes you feel rushed. I don’t know how she juggles all her responsibilities of being chief with her large patient load. I trust her and value her knowledge and skill tremendously. She is non judgmental and fair.

Dr. Messner is the most compassionate, thoughtful, patient-focused doctor that I have ever had. He is been my primary care doctor for around 20 years, and his care has always been exceptional. He will spend as much time as needed with each patient, so he is probably late getting home every day. - He explains everything thoroughly and clearly. - When you are sick, he will check in with you by the Kaiser email. - He is up-to-date on advances in treatment and will select those most suited to getting you well as soon as possible. - He is also knowledgeable about the research-validated viability of a variety of alternative medical strategies. - He is emotionally supported as when my wife was extremely sick and passed on. - He listens. Very important. When I found some research (I am a librarian) that indicated another calcium product was better for a condition I had, he immediately made the change in prescription. -All-in-all, I recommend Dr. Messner without reservation.

I don't recommend Dr. Matharu if you want a data-driven physician who listens to you. In my case, I'm a diabetic and I had to ask him for metformin, since his only suggestion was weight loss (good idea, but hard to do!). I informed him that I'd previously experienced nausea w/metformin and wanted a dose lower than the standard 500mg but he was unsympathetic and stated lower doses were not available! Further, I had the impression he was told not to order certain tests to control costs; he didn't explain why certain tests (e.g. thyroid, testosterone) were "not recommended". I had one abnormal thyroid test and he told me to disregard it until next year rather than getting another confirmatory test near-term.

Absolutely Excellent doctor trained on the latest technology. I've been a patient with Dr. Messner MD since 2002 and found his decision making absolutely perfect. He's fast - I came in one time with a suspected broken wrist, he sent me to X-ray, came back to the exam room where he showed me my broken wrist on the monitor and told me what recovery would be like, then sent me to the "cast" department and had me out and driving home much more comfortable in under 2 hours including all wait times at all departments, because Dr. Messner electronically sends notices that the patient is on their way, and tells the pharmacy patient is waiting, so I can get everything done quickly at the Kaiser campus. That's very much appreciated, as is his knowledge and willingness to explain complex problems.
