I have been waiting for an hour in my room and Dr Cohen have yet to come in,

On my first visit, Dr Eslami increased my medications before even ordering and reviewing lab work for the first time. That was the first red flag. The second was when he then doubled the medications even though my cholesterol and other numbers were well in the normal range. The last straw was when he insulted me by saying there is no way I could be so busy as to not get in enough exercise - saying there was no way I could possibly be more busy than him. How he could possibly say that without even asking me about my schedule, was just a presumptuous as him prescribing more medications without even ordering lab work to see what my numbers are. Lastly, the office and staff are way behind the curve when it comes to scheduling, reminders, filling out forms, etc...

I saw he had great reviews so I chose to come to him. He didn’t really listen to me or let me speak. The worst part is I occasionally smoke marijuana and he literally screamed at me and judged me and made me feel horrible. I almost ended my appt right then and there because I don’t deserve to be yelled at like that.

Dr. Yalvac and his staff were very friendly and helpful. I immediately felt at ease and confident in my diagnosis.

Good doctor for office visits, but good luck to get hold of him on your emergency. he does not care to even contact you,the most you can leave him a messages thru his assistant

Follow up after a bypass, He is very kind, knowledgeable and caring. He is on top of everything and I trust all his decisions for me

I have recommended Dr. Cohen to all my friends and family, I have been under his care for approximately 20 years. My quality of life has improved and at times I feel better than 20 years ago. He is caring and will tell you exactly what is going on with your heart. He is knowledgeable and keeps up with the latest techniques and procedures. I had atrial fib 60% of the time and my last check up was o%, I am on my 4th pacemaker due to a very low heart rate. Through monitoring I feel he is keeping me alive with the best quality of life a 87 year old can have. I therefore give him a 5star.

I had a SCAD heart attack, and Dr. Mahmoud Eslami was the cardiologist on call when I came into the ER. As an otherwise healthy 47 yo female, with no cholesterol issues and no familial history of heart disease, I was so grateful that I was taken seriously and that Dr. Eslami picked it up right away. He successfully placed a stent, and I was good to go. Thank you.

Doctor Meltzer has been my cardiologist for 25 years and he is terrific. I have atrial fibrillation and it began at an early age. I went to three cardiologists early on and they could not help me. One literally almost killed me. Meltzer happen to be attending patients in hospital I was at and flat on my back. I heard him with others and I called him over and that was the beginning for us. Patient and appointments are thorough. Waits are short. Dr Meltzer is also a good guy. September 13, 2021.

I had my first visit with Dr. Eslami at his Santa Ana office. The staff was very friendly and professional from check in to check out. Dr. Eslami took time to explain what he was doing and my follow-up lab test and appointment.

Dr. Teferi Y. Mitiku is among the finest doctors in the world. Need proof? He graduated from UCLA's science program (molecular cell and developmental biology, ranked 6th in the country), with highest honors (meaning finishing in the top 10% of his class). He then obtained his medical degree from UCLA (also ranked 6th in the country), and then did his residency at Stanford and further training at Yale, while also being a professor of medical at UC Irvine. Despite his superior intelligence, he is also a compassionate and caring individual. He is humble, and very passionate about saving lives and improving your quality of life. Dr. Eslami may be a fine Cardiologist, I have no idea. I've seen him for the past few years for regular visits and haven't had issues. This past visit he brought up politics, and we have differing views. I don't care to hear what my doctor's political opinions are. I'm no more interested in his opinion of politics, nor is he any more qualified to offer it, than my auto mechanic. Then to argue because I didn't agree with him lacks professionalism. It made the encounter awkward for me, and I won't be going back. I respect people who have different viewpoints than I do, but I don't need to be confronted about it during an encounter. It's just not an appropriate place.

He's a true gem. He explains everything so clearly that a 3 year old can understand. Spends more than sufficient time, answers all questions and concerns, shows you charts and graphs, excellent bedside manners and disposition and bottom line: He really cares. Highly recommend him.

Have been seeing Dr. Cohen for a number of years. Keep thinking I should change doctors, but never get around to it. He seems technically bright and knowledgeable. However communication is an issue. He talks too fast, doesn't listen well, and time spent with me is 5 minutes max.

Great doctor tells me what is wrong and explains in detail, doesn't push unneeded medication and he really seems to care about his patients
