Review of Dr. Deutsch

- in San Francisco |

I detransitioned after many years. I needed testosterone. Deutsch refused. He told me to get back on estrogen. He said I would need some months of therapy (i.e. re-indoctrination into "trans") before he would even think about it. IRONY: This is the guy who will hand out a cross-sex hormone prescription the SAME DAY to ANYONE who shows up and says they want to become "trans."

Review of Dr. Nguyen

- in Redwood city, CA |

Wanted to leave zero but not an option. Saw him at Sequoia hospital ER. He walked in, in such a way I thought for sure he wasn't the dr. He's a cocky, arrogant guy who in NO way gives off a vibe he knows what he's doing. I immediately had warning bells in my head. If he is or isn't competent he comes across he isn't. He never layed one finger on me. I was there for an infected puncture on my hand. He didn't feel my lymph nodes, hold my arm/turn it over to see if there was redness etc. Bad!

Review of Dr. Hand

-

We just had the best experience with Dr. Hand, Teri, and all the staff at Dignity Health today. My young daughter has flu, and he couldn’t have been nicer, great with kids, and extremely careful with his advice. We had an absolutely wonderful visit - if a doctor’s appointment can ever be fun, this one was. Super clean office too!

The ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!!! "doctor" I have ever encountered. HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER, Very poor communication along with bad attitude! SHE IS NOT A PATIENT ADVOCATE!!!!! I WILL TELL EVERYONE THAT WILL LISTEN - DO NOT GIVE THIS WOMAN ANY OF YOUR MONEY!EVER!!! YOU WOULD NOT GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH IF HER SERVICES WERE FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHE DOES NOT DESERVE 1 STAR!!!!!!!

Review of Dr. Deutsch

-San Francisco, CA |

Comes in late, leaves to go see other patients for extended periods of time, then finally comes back. Incredibly rude. Cuts patients off in the middle of sentences, walks out while patients are speaking. Gives attitude if you see one of her colleagues when she doesn't have an available appointment. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Review of Dr. Nguyen

- in Milpitas, CA |

Totally agree with Bart Vinh. Not even a tiny bit of compassion (Deserves 0 Stars not even 1star). I had a horrible throat infection. He would not even listen to my symptoms completely and patiently. He misdiagnosed me and denied giving me antibiotics. After a week of ordeal (lozenges, nyquil, dayquil, oral anesthetics) he gave me 875mg Antibiotics twice a day, put me to sleep for more than 12 hrs everyday for a week. Reckless DOCTOR. Most horrible experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Review of Dr. Hand

-Belfair, WA |

Dr. Hand treated me last week at an Urgent Care facility in Mill Valley while I was visiting from out of town. He was extremely professional, thorough and very kind. If I lived in the area he would be my doctor.

Review of Dr. Deutsch

Dr. Maddie is professional and kind. We are lucky to have her in the Bay Area. I feel fortunate to be able to see the world's best trans doctor.

Review of Dr. Nguyen

- in Ca |

He was impatient and patronizing. He constantly interrupted as I tried to describe my symptoms. As a result I had to seek another doctor at considerable expense and time. Turns out Dr. Nguyen misdiagnosed me and refused to prescribe the appropriate medication, leaving me in severe pain and danger of developing dangerous complications. I recommend avoiding this man until he learns the basics of compassion, patience and some humility.

Review of Dr. Deutsch

- in San Francisco |

I understand some patients feel frustrated- yes, this doctor may communicate differently, but it is our job to seek clarity be it through email or during appointment. As a member of the community, Dr. Deutsch applies passion with clinical authority. Her manner of medical care is not warm, but efficient. I chose Very Good because I feel confident in her working knowledge, effective assistance, and validation of trans health. We did have misunderstandings..but for me was worth a second try.
