Dr Newman has been my husband's pulmonary physician for a while now. My husband has Alzheimer's and also COPD. When we visit Dr Newman he treats us as though we are a part of his family. He's not only down to earth but truly cares about my husband's well being. I would highly recommend Dr Newman. He's an excellent see doctor who cares!

He is a gifted cardiologist. He doesn't sugar coat your condition, but tells you very directly what's wrong and what needs to be done unequivocally. He always makes sure you understand what he is telling you. Also extremely responsive to e-mails and always phones back to talk to me as opposed to having one of his nurses call me back or send me an email response. Is very personable and charming if you get him off the subject of your heart problems.

Extremely rude. Said that I shouldn't have medical conditions at 37. When doing my cortisone shot said ooops don't want to puncture my lung. Shouldn't be a doctor mean and cruel. Kept telling me I should have permanent work restrictions when I requested more medical evaluation and treatment.

Seemed condescending and lacked empathy for discussions and visits. He didn't read email and respond to concerns with any type of expected diligence and rapport that is normal for a physician. Kaiser tends to treat patients as a economic entity over genuine care for patient.

She works in the ICU step-down unit at Kaiser on Zion. When asked a specific question was advised that I "did not need to know that" and she "was not going to take the time to explain it to me". She has a very poor bed-side manner. We felt as family members she did not listen to us or hear our concerns. She tends to speak at you, not with you. She does not like to be questioned. I am a nurse, but I am also a care giver to a family member. If I were interacting with her on a MD to Nurse level, I could possibly understand (and ignore) her mannerisms as some MDs do not value their nursing staff, however as a family care giver to my loved one her behavior was unacceptable and inexcusable. We feel she jeopardized our loved ones long term care plan as previously planned between us and by our loved ones neurologist and ICU Hospitalist from Kaiser San Diego Medical Center.

I can’t give him the big goose egg he deserves. If he specializes in this field he needs to choose a different career. Thanks for not knowing what Aspiration Pneumonia is!!!! Wow, I will work till my last breath as my father did to see he and K. Permanente pay for the lack of knowledge and the extreme mis treatment they showed my father!!! Just wait until I release all of the evidence that proves this was an unavoidable death!!!!!

I waited over an hour to be seen by this doctor and blamed me interrupting her and extending the visit. Was extremely curt and clearly had no interest in the evaluation she was performing. Her demeanor and patient interaction reflect poorly on Kaiser and on the very professional staff that support her. I hope I never have to interact with her again.

I’ve been treated by De L and find her to be comprehensive and open to your requests and especially your concerns about treatments. I would highly recommend her as she is willing to seek further confirmation of her treatment choices with other experts that either confirm her choice of treatment or recommends another. She’s easy to express your concerns and fears. Absolutely a wonderful doctor that made me feel heard and well cared for.

17 plus years ago Dr. McGinn cleared/opened my Coratid Artery. It was 95% blocked and other Doctors would not do the procedure. I went to Dr. McGinn and his knowledge, expertise and professionalism he did an awesome job. If it wasn’t for Dr. McGinn I would not be here. I am thankful that he is my Doctor. I still make an appointment once a year and he is always interested in my health and he takes his one talking to me. I recommend Dr. McGinn to anybody!

Horrible bedside manner. Dismissive, arrogant, didn’t listen at all to the issues I was expressing. Belittled any concerns I had, and does not research or understand psychosomatic correlation. Should not be a doctor, and should not be allowed to work with any employment related to other human beings. Burnt out and needs to retire. What a horrible experience. Do not see this doctor.

He has absolutely no Regard for his patients and does not communicate well with patients. No interaction/communication with the patient when prescribing Meds and even prescribed a Med that I as a patient had bad reaction to and can not take. As a hospitaliist very poor interaction.

My 80 yr old family member was given s diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia by Dr. Sweet, prognosis of 6 -12 months. At the time of diagnosis he was waiting for results of 2 more studies prior to a treatment plan. We were told if he didn’t contact her 10 days to call him. We called in 5 days, only one result was back. Three weeks,no word from the doctor. We called left a message, 10days later he left a voicemail he would call back in 3 days. Two weeks later nothing until we filed a complaint

AWFUL experience with this doctor. She kept us waiting in the ER with severe pain for 2.5 hrs - at 4 am - only to tell us tests came back clear (second opinion showed hernia). Didn't know what a sports hernia was. HORRIBLE bedside manner, made us feel like complete idiots. Honestly one of the rudest people I have ever met. Didn't listen or show concern, just wanted us out of there. Never apologized for the wait. This doctor does not care about her patients AND delivers false results. Steer clear

Amazing. By the time my husband was seen by Dr Green, he could hardly walk. Dr. Green was highly recommended. And many opinions later. George was up and walking the next day! We have never looked back. Dr Green is direct and to the point. I referred him to a client of mine who also had a terrific outcome, he was so grateful for the recommendation he cried for joy!
