Review of Dr. Parekh

- in Temecula Ca |

In January 2016 I ended in the hospital 2 times from hypoglycemia, I was told after being in the hospital for 4 days i may have a tumor and my blood sugar was never controllable, (always dangerously low) but released me, my brother and sister figured what they couldn’t, I had an insulinoma. I looked up the best surgeron and was blessed to find Dr Parekh he admitted me to the hospital and found the tumor on my pancreas and ended having to do surgery quickly- Dr Parekh is the best!

Review of Dr. Parekh

- in Sherman Oaks, CA |

2014, i learned i had a rare insulinoma tumor on my pancreas.i learned the only treatment is surgery. It was causing seizures & surgery was urgent. i live near three world class hospitals. Keck USC had the most experienced surgeon, Dr Parekh. got an appointment fast. Dr P. answered my questions, worked flexibly with me on pre-op process, surgery was difficult & long, open surgery,12 inch incision, removal was skilled, making recovery easier, discharged in 2 1/2 days, recovered uncomplicated. A+

Review of Dr. Crookes

Dr. Crookes did my RNY surgery and was amazing, I could not have asked for a better experience. From the insurance problems that we went though to the day of surgery. Dr. Crookes was my guardian angel and he saved my life. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Crookes to anyone in need of his expertise. He is an amazing Doctor.

Review of Dr. Matsuoka

Dr. Matsuoka was my surgeon to remove my gallbladder. She definitely cares about how her patients feel before and after surgery. She made sure that all my questions were answered at all time. Surgery completed without any problems.

Review of Dr. Parekh

- in LA CA |

He is too busy for his own patients. Took so long to operate on my mother that when he went in, it was too late. Cancer was spread to her liver. He said he can't do anything for her and gave her an expiration date and said best of luck to you. Gave her a stomach bypass so she can eat better. She never had an eating problem. Wasted a week in the hospital recovering from that. Was so afraid he was going to come in and tell my mom to basically give up all hope that I stayed there with her.

Review of Dr. Parekh

- in Sacramento, CA |

Dr. Parekh and his team at USC's Keck Center saved my life with emergency necrotizing pancreatitis debridement surgery on the evening of August 2, 2015. The procedure had a 73% Mortality rate. It is almost one-year after the surgery and I am almost fully-healed and am living a very normal life.

Review of Dr. Matsuoka

- in Bakersfield, CA |

Needed bile duct damage repaired, resulting from gallbladder surgery. Though the experience in the hospital was difficult, this woman saved my life. She is also kind and hard working, and it's clear that she cares very much about her patients and work. I'll be forever grateful.
