Review of Dr. Gorn

-

Dr. A. Gorn is calm, asks good questions, really listens and makes good suggestions. He is not stuck on one or two medications, he wants what each person needs for pain relief so he offers choices. I feel very lucky to have such a good doctor on my team!!!!!

Review of Dr. Gorn

This doctor: 1. Fails to advocate for patients ( other doctors, when going through difficult health situations, in infusion center) 2. Has a consistent pattern of canceling patient appointments 3. Has pt appointments that start at 8:20 am and he’s not in the office at 8:20... he’s late. You’ll be dealing with always waiting if you choose this doctor. 4. His assistant is unkind, rude, and does not help with things assistants at other offices assist with. You will often hear” I don’t do tha

Not a nice provider- cancels, temper, you can’t count on your scheduled appointment- this office always cancels. Provider shows up 40 min after his first scheduled appointment. Infusion nurses complain that he doesn’t check his email. His assistant says he doesn’t check his email. Doesn’t collaborate with other specialist. Find another provider- one with a nice assistant- they are out there. Not sure what the problem is here but it’s not for the patient to figure out. Be professional.

Review of Dr. Charles

- in Laguna Hills, CA |

Dr. Charles is erudite, compassionate and one of the best doctors we have ever been to. She treats my wife and now me for rheumatoid arthritis. We have known her for 13 years and she is among the best doctors in the country. She is now Chief of Rheumatology at UCLA as well as a teaching professor. We are honored to be her patients and would highly recommend her to everyone. If you are looking for the best.. look no further... she is the one.

Review of Dr. McMahon

-Thousand Oaks, CA |

Dr, McMahon is an excellent physician who truly cares. I have been sick with an undiagnosed illness for 6+ years, and she is the first doctor to show true compassion. Sure, UCLA is a bit tough to get in and out of, as their doctors are so high in demand; I've often had to wait close to two hours to see her. But honestly, it's worth it, and last time I went, the wait was much shorter. She also got me set up with a program that pays entirely for my infusions (15K a month!) She's great.

Review of Dr. McMahon

-Los Angeles, CA |

She's very nice and personable but has poor follow up. I received an e-mail with some important test results that were shared with her and my primary care doctor. She kept reading my results wrong, even though I had read them myself. Maybe she has currently has too many patients, but I would never return to a doctor who mis-reads test results. Also if you see her at Ron Reagan Medical Center you will receive a bill for $1000. They bill your insurance as a hospital visit.

Review of Dr. Furst

- in Albuquerque, NM |

Dr. Furst treats the whole patient. He checks, test, reviews every part of my body, every symptom and even asks about my social and mental health. He is kind and caring and makes me feel like I am the only patient he is seeing today. Because of his reputation as an expert I always win the appeals with my insurance company on the treatments he prescribes. I am alive today because of his wonderful care.

Review of Dr. Charles

-

Dr. Charles is everything you could ever hope for in a physician: compassionate, thorough, and passionate about treating her patients. She spent over two hours with me during my first visit to her office. Long after her staff had left, we were still discussing my case. I have never met another physician of her quality. If every provider was half as diligent as Dr. Charles, healthcare would be greatly improved!
