If I could give 0 stars, I would, but since it requires at least one, that’s all I will give. DR. BRIAN THOMPSON IS AN ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE DOCTOR. Individuals like him should not be practicing medicine as they have no compassion and understanding for their patients. He was rude, patronizing, and didn’t take time to even hear me list all of the symptoms I was experiencing. He came in with an idea in his head of what he thought I needed needed and had decided that my situation was not one that could be seen by him. Upon reading online reviews of him (after leaving his presence), I found that others had a similar issue. I went to the ER at Kaiser Sunset with heavy bleeding and lower abdominal pain that had been going on for over two months. My situation was getting worse as I was feeling nauseous for days, dizzy at times, and also had waning energy levels and strength. Dr. Brian Thompson refused to run any tests aside from a blood count, even upon my insisting. He didn’t listen to

I was admitted to the hospital with a bad strep throat infection and was told I needed to be on observation for a few days with IV antibiotics. The next morning Dr. Fogarty (newly assigned to me) told me I was being discharged, was dismissive of my concerns and made me feel awkward about asking for a second opinion. I was discharged and then came back to the hospital to be readmitted an hour later because I was in lots of pain. She made a huge mistake that cost me time and pain with a dangerous infection. Definitely avoid her and if you get her, insist on seeing another doctor who listens.

She was dismissive of my husbands needs and discharged him inappropriately, an hour after being discharged we had to return to the ER and prolonged his illness. When we asked for a second opinion her response was that she didn’t think anyone else would come talks to us and ignored our requests. NO THANK YOU to her! We love Kaiser and have had such great service here except for Dr Fogarty

My mother was in the ICU and when she got out she was assigned to Dr. Baroni and another doctor who rotated weekly. Dr. Baroni treated my mother with great respect even though she is elderly (in contrast to other doctors), and took very good care of her. She communicated often and followed up all questions with patience and with kindness.

Admitted to ER for lower abdominal pain in Jan 2018 which turned out to be a ruptured ovarian cyst. Dr. Matthew Tjajadi was the doctor on staff. He was extremely aloof (slouched over, hands in hoodie front pocket, apathetic attitude) and had poor bedside manner. Post CAT scan/ultrasound, when asked what the results could mean, he shrugged and said “it could be nothing or it could be cancer.” Why would you ever tell a patient it could potentially be cancer without solid evidence? He also requested a pregnancy test which I had explicitly requested he not do because 1) I’m paying for it and 2) I knew with 150% certainty that I was not pregnant. Finally, he ended his shift without so much as a goodbye and we sat around waiting for him for almost an hour just for a nurse to tell us he had already left. He is the reason why I will never go back to Kaiser.

WORST DOCTOR EVER! But we didn’t realize that she totally blew many signs of a serious illness off. She was dismissive and was not willing to spend anytime with you. Just kept saying let’s wait another day. Please, change doctors if you get her. She is NOT fit to be a doctor and I’m surprised that Kaiser allows this to keep happening. We are not the only ones to receive sub standard care.

My daughter spent some time in the NICU and was under the care of Dr McLean - my terrible experience starts with her saying she was frustrated with all the questions we had for her. She was very condescending, extremely unprofessional and lacks the compassion needed to be a NICU Dr. She compared my child to another as if one is more important. She should not be sharing information about her other patients nor should she make a recovering mother feel as though her child is not important enough to received appropriate care. She walked away from us very dismissively and did not check on my daughter for the remainder of her shift. Unacceptable.

Dr. Tash treated my child with compassion and kindness. Our daughter had a difficult procedure and Dr. Tash made sure to put my daughter at ease prior to the surgery as well as my entire family. He came out after the surgery letting us know immediately how the surgery went. He answered all of our questions. Dr. Tash’s bedside manner is excellent, not only to the patient, but also to the entire family. The nurses told us that Dr. Tash would be the doctor they would choose to work on work in the.

Chronic illness for over 12 years you get more with sugar than you do sour... I am always the utmost polite and respectful of all nurse staff and doctors. This doctor has zero bedside manner, is accusatory, argumentative, and judgemental. I had to actually compose myself overnight and plan how to get out of the hospital away from this woman back to the comfort of my own home out of the hospital. I made sure to let her know her bedside manner is not appropriate and we are the patients. Fire her
