What a great Doctor .Answers all questions . Explains clearly.
I had to have some shallow, on the surface only, squamous cells removed from under my chin. The scar is reasonable and understandable. However, he created a small pouch of skin under one side of my chin that hangs down. It doesn't jump out but it is noticeable. I went back to him but he first said it had been there before (No!), then said I needed a neck lift, then said he would cut it out, leaving a vertical scar, for only $600. I no longer trust him.
I had an excellent appointment with Dr. Lapatka. He was friendly, thorough, and had wonderful bedside manner. I left feeling like my symptoms were understood and I felt reassured with the treatment plan. Would recommend! Great experience.
She is very kind & wants to hear your worries concerns. She'll take you step by step through a treatment plan to get you where you want to go. I really appreciate Dr. Kernoff & her views on my healthcare.
Experienced with TURP. Attentive to my specific questions and concerns. Four months post-TURP, I feel like my bladder empties completely, I get up only once a night to urinate, and I no longer need to rush to the bathroom whenever I hear water running. Thanks Dr. Koper!
Dr "K" saved my daughter's life! My daughter was sick for two years. Her pediatrician would simply brush my worries aside and asked me at many of our visits if I was a new mother. He went on vacation and lucky for us Dr "K" was able to see my child that had a fever of 103 for almost a week, was vomiting blood and wouldn't get out of bed. Dr "K" suspected Lupud and immediately referred us to UCLA. What a blessing he is!
Dr. Kernoff is great! I have seen her twice and both times there was almost no wait (didn't even get a chance to sit down in the waiting room the second time!). She is professional, courteous, listens to my concerns, and expertly answers my questions. I would recommend her.
My 13-yr-old son has always felt comfortable with Dr. K and listens very well to his advice on health. Dr. K spends time asking my son questions regarding his health, school and sports. I would highly recommend this doctor.
I love her, she is kind assuring and always takes the time to talk my isseus through with me. She is a wise Dr. and knows stuff as well as her referrals. I am very happy with Dr. Kernoff and wouldnt hesitate to refer her to my nearest and dearest!
Did not believe me when I tried to discuss documented medical diagnoses from physicians before I moved here. Did not help me at all. Because of her, I do not want to see anyone at Sansum.
He diagnosed me incorrectly-I now have an infection on my other ear
Dr. Haig is an excellent doctor. He actually listens, asks questions and takes time to communicate with me. I've never left an appointment with him wondering what he meant, what my status is, what's next, etc. He's treats me with respect and I trust him.
if you haven't problems with your health, this doctor will be good for you.
She is thorough, intelligent, trustworthy dr. But it's obvious she has no clue who we are. At 12m appt, she reviewed what a wonderful 1st year we'd had, but we'd only been with her for last 5 mths & nothing she said made sense. She got my daughter's age wrong at 18m visit. Advice nurse can't keep daughter's age or gender straight for a 5 min call. Nurse at vax appt was rude and condescending. They cancel appointments made months in advance. It's impossible to see Dr H for last minute appts.
Dr. Hughes is great! Really humble and explains very well all options you might have.
Dr. Haig gave me back my belief in Sansum Clinic. He cares about his patients and gives confidence that he will be there for them. He always seems current on any issue the patient may have, ready to offer help and encouragement. I recommend him to all my friends who are trying to find a Doctor.
I have been going to Dr. Hollingshead for 21 years and can't say enough good things about him. Even when living out of state, I travel back to see Dr. H for most medical issues. He is kind, professional, smart, and takes the time needed to visit with each patient.
She accused me of not feeding my child. My daughters father, whom she met, is 6'0 and weighs 125 lbs. The entire side of his family is extremely thin like he is. He attended many of the check ups and still she continued to tell me to feed my daughter fatty foods and add extra butter in each meal. Later, I found out from another nurse that she put in the chart that my daughter was malnourished. She never mentioned this belief to me. I would not recommend her.
Dr. Haq is a very likable and personable doctor. During our consultation he wrote down a list of all the signs and symptoms I was experiencing, then drew maps and possible diagnoses that fit my issues. He asked for more detail on issues that concerned him, and listened as I gave him an extensive history. Dr. Haq knows his field well, and I was very comfortable with him. His staff is great too--I felt well taken care of.
He's a fantastic doctor. The wait times are way too long but that's the only bad thing.
I've been with Dr. Hollingshead for more than 20 years. He's an excellent physician, competent, professional, with a good sense of humor. He's a good listener and treats his patients with respect and courtesy. He doesn't over-prescribe or under-prescribe. He's always been very responsive whenever I've had to call on him for an emergency or unexpected health crises. I might add that he was equally patient and understanding in treating my elderly aunt and uncle, with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
Very personable and caring. Very knowledgeable.
I hesitate only slightly to give Donna such a glowing review and don't want to go into details to spare the patient but can say that hands-down she is the best we've experienced in my 15 years of living in Santa Barbara. She solved more issues and answered more questions and did it all with the kindest manner. She is a rock star. There. I said it! Now I will have to wait months to get in. But you have to know about her. She is a gift and I am forever indebted to her.
Dr. Brennan is an amazing pediatrician. He provides very practical, common-sense advice and care for our new born. He is extremely patient and provides just the right balance of concern and humor. Great for new parents!
She didn't listen to me. I needed a specialist, and requested one; she insisted on routine treatment, delaying my seeing a specialist. Performed unnecessary tests. Staff could not operate malfunctioning equipment for test, so she used results of 3 month old test to diagnose. I requested the test results multiple times but always received the same old results of 3 month old test. After 7 months, I questioned her latest diagnosis. She told me if I didn't like it, go see someone else. Zero stars.
I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Her bedside manner is poor(awful), she doesn't listen and she repeats the information you just gave her incorrectly. She spoke to me as if I were an idiot after I explained to her several times about the pain I was experiencing in my arm. I had never left a doctor's office pissed off until I met her. I hear she is a good surgeon but because I don't trust her, I would NEVER recommend her. One visit was more than sufficient!
Dr. services and skill was excellent. Had burning numbness in my arm requiring carpel tun. surgery. Problem was resolved immediately . Highly recommend. I appreciate the no nonsense, get to the subject at hand attitude.
Overall this was a bad experience and I will not be going back! Horrendous scheduling of appointments, the actual appointment was so quick that nothing was explained properly, I left with no new information, and I didn't even know the appointment had ended! I am not satisfied at all and am actually mad my insurance companies will be paying for this appointment.
Here we go, another negative review for Dr. Choi. Incredibly arrogant, rude. Never listens to what you, patient or a relative has to say. Never lets you finish the sentence. Demanding and pushy, not in a nice way. Not sure of her professionalism, but for sure we are not going back to her. I wish there was a non star review.
Dr Braganza was very professional. He fit me into his schedule last minute to accommodate an emergency. He explained the procedure throughly and was extremely skilled.
Dr Choi is an excellent surgeon with excellent education, training and experience.
To say she was incredibly rude and condescending is putting it very nicely!
Rude and insulting, surgery resulted in numbness and loss of blood
Very knowledgeable caring understanding genuine
Simple finger surgery supposed to take 45 minuted, tool 3 1/2 hours. Five months and three surgeries, finger is drooping and will require one, probably two more surgeries to correct her surgical errors.
If you're looking for a doctor that spouts rainbows and unicorns, keep looking. If you want a no BS surgeon that fights for you with your insurance company, goes out of his way to do what needs to be done, don't walk, RUN to see Dr Cisek. Be sure to tell him Randy says Hi!
She is an excellent surgeon, I and a number of my friends have been treated by her. She is a tiny bit brusque, but always will answer a question with a smart simple explanation. Like all Sansum offices, booking her is always difficult.
Dr. Christiano overlooked and refused to allow me testing to discover a very serious lumbar injury and TWO herniated disks. I told her where the injury was located in my back, and she never even got off her chair to investigate the area. As a result, she told me to exercise more, which would have put me in a wheelchair, for sure. I had to spend more time and money to go to the ER, just to get the tests I needed. She is the poorest trained and most arrogant doctor. AVOID HER!
1. Talked down to me 2. Didn't take the issues seriously 3. Rolled his eyes & scoffed multiple times at what I said about my sinuses 4. Didn't explain what he was doing 5. Didn't respect me as a patient 6. About the pounding in my ear - Conversation: - Me: When I have extra mucus I have a bad noise/vibration in my ear - Dr. Probably just your heart beat, next time check that - Me: It's a vibration not a beat - Dr. That's harder to figure out - That was it for the conversation
Announced triumphantly that I would receive no pain or sleep medication. I'm a senior with fibromyalgia. I need to sleep and have some pain relief. Burgess was unprofessional, uncaring and cruel. I will not return. He doesn't have very high reviews from others, either.
I loved meeeting him. I enjoyed our person to person conversation, one human being talking to another human being. I was very impressed with his skill level and felt very re-assured when he told me what he thought was going on with my situation. If it comes time to deal with my abdominal aneurysm, I hope he will be willing to support me.
loved him... very knowledgeable.
I just had a mediocre consultation with Dr. Greaney. It was not worth the $20 co-pay. He failed to provide much information or advice. He was aggresive before I had a chance to say anything.
I had Dr. Emerson perform a total hip replacement on my right hip in June 2012. Dr. Emerson performed flawlessly and as of today I have had no pain whatsoever. Thank you Dr. Emerson for giving me my life back to enjoy. Fred Guidotti Lockwood Ca
Most thorough and a high sense of urgency and care for us as individuals.
After finding out I had a fast growing cancer on my face he responded that "nothing happens fast in health care today". I changed doctors and had my surgery scheduled in a week. His appointments are too fast and he blames it on the clinic. He could care less about his patients and their concerns.
Am impressed with how carefully Dr. Fisk carefully reviewed my health history, even from years back. His manner is caring, listening well, professional while retaining a kind of humanity different that one often might experience at a busy clinic. Am grateful that visits seem unrushed which is especially appreciated these days.
Had my right hip replaced 10 weeks ago. Age 70. Excellent surgeon! All went so well. He pays great attention to details. I had some special needs because of a previous spinal cord injury. He did not forget a thing. He explains everything and nicely checks on you. He does a lot of hip and knee work and sees a lot of patients but always remembers you on a personal level. His surgery scheduler is a really thoughtful, caring, and detailed person. Sansum Clinic is top notch. Great hospital.
He is a life saver. He fixes problems. Very competent. The best doctor I have ever had.
I am 71 years old and Dr. Emmerson replaced my right knee in May of this year. After 6 weeks of physical therapy I could walk and undertake other activities easily. Now three months since the surgery, I feel better than I did before the surgery and continue to improve. I look forward to a life with no significant constraints on what I am able to do, including long distance walking, skiing and fly fishing in California's rivers. I could not be more pleased with the outcome Dr. Emmerson enabled.
Rude from the second she entered. Needed annual evaluation for blood pressure and was scolded by her for not having a primary physician. Then was told she couldn't refill my prescription because she wasn't allowed to, implying that it's the clinics policy. Really? If so, then why wasn't I told that when I checked in? The fellow in front of me was also there to get med refilled. Everyone in the clinic was very cordial but her. She may be board certified but needs to go back to charm school.
Dr. Greaney is an uncaring, prejudiced doctor that does not want to help patients with complex health issues. He is not willing to treat the "difficult" cases or even consult other doctors. He seems to be there for the easy cases only. If you have more involved medical issues that require going the extra mile he is not your kind of professional. Very disappointing.
He is very knowledgeable
I've only seen Dr. Ford 2x, but so far he's been very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about my problem.
Tomaso was exactly what I needed. I don't open up to other people easily. Some days I would just sit in his office thinking about things and refusing to make eye contact with him, he would watch my face and when my expression changed he would ask me what that thought was. That simple act would help me to start a discussion. He is patient, kind, and nonjudgmental. He reminded me of my value.
My appointments with Dr.Ford felt very rushed. It seemed like he was in a hurry to get done with the appointment and made me feel like I was asking too many questions.
Dr. Gaitan is very understanding and compassionate. We are extremely satisfied with his services.
Dr. G treats me like I am the only patient she is seeing that day. She is always interested in me, my work and personal life and how they effect my health. She has a pleasant demeanor and a great sense of humor too. I would highly recommend her to anyone but particularly women.
He is an excellent doctor, great HIV experience, excellent listening and communication skills, and gave me the right treatment plan.
I have a lot of anxiety about going to the doctor. When I was having some weird symptoms and needed to go to urgent care, she was awesome. She told me exactly what she was doing as she was doing it, took the time to ask about my full history and made me feel very comfortable.
Excellent surgery skills and I made a rapid recovery after hip replacement surgery. Dr. Emmerson was very attentive in his hospital follow up each day and in setting follow up appointments.
Saw Dr. Fante and his courteous staff for minor eye problem. Kristina was knowledgeable and Tanya held my hand during my procedure. Moreover, he discovered really SERIOUS eye problem in each eye and now I am scheduled for laser procedure on each one. I am so very grateful he gave me a very thorough eye exam although I was only there for a minor problem. VERY GRATEFUL. Plus he went to excellent undergraduate and medical schools. Can't thank him enough. Highly recommended.
Doctor Greaney is a no nonsense and practical physician. He answered my questions, assuaged my fears, and was very professional yet compassionate. I left his office with confidence and a treatment plan for success!
This brilliant oncologist is literally a life saver. I was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer in July 2015. Dr. Greenwald has been very instrumental in my healing journey. He is excellent about working to minimize side effects from very strong chemo. He is one of the smartest persons I have ever met, and I am so grateful for his help. I very highly recommend Dr. Greenwald if you are dealing with cancer.
Never will I go back to this Dr. Went to him to check out why I am not able to concieve I have had numerous testing done on the East coast and he did not even care to see them or have my obgyn send them over. He sat there with a old torn scrap paper doodling on it while I was telling him everything I have been through, not even taking real notes! I am so upset that I wasted my day I had to take off from work for this! he told me to go get a better ovulation kit! And sent me home!
Dr. Yhip is not a doctor you want to trust with your life, or your loved one's life. He does not provide appropriate care for his patients, he does not communicate with his patients, and if something goes wrong during the procedure he will blame the patient even if there is scientific/medical evidence to suggest that is not the case. You will incur more medical costs of which he will not bill the insurance for, and instead bill the patient.
Always a pleasure to see Leonard. He is very experienced, competence, great to talk to. Take care of me really well. Highly recommended.
I came in with a lot of questions about birth control. At the time, I was on the pill & really didn't like the migraines I was experiencing. He came in & Dr. Vanderheide spent 5 minutes talking with me. He quickly dismissed my healthcare concerns and told me to take another option without hardly any information or help at all.
He made me feel like he had better things to do and my questions were stupid.
My father was referred to Dr Yhip by his GP. The first initial visit seemed to go fine. Yhip ordered several tests to be done and over a 5 day period my dad completed them. We had made a follow up appointment to get the results. Well, there was so much confusion with all of the staff they looked like the stooges. We never got the results and were told to come back in 3 years. We got the results from his GP and Very soon after this my dad had an MRI and they found an aneurysm on his aorta valve.
I came in with a lot of questions about birth control, specifically getting an IUD. I was currently on the pill and really didn't like the nausea I was experiencing. He came in and spent 5 minutes talking with me and it obviously looked like he was ready to make it as quick as possible. He quickly dismissed the idea of an IUD because of my medical history and told me to take another option without hardly any information or help at all. I left feeling uninformed and discouraged!
He was very real, approachable and non judgemental, everything we want in an OB. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He was more than happy to answer any questions I had.
I went in about issue that was causing me embarrassment, pain, problems in daily life, home and work, and just in general was making my life a living hell. I waited for this appointment for 4 months. 4 months of crying from anxiety, pain, fear, and hope that someone would be helping me. John was very dismissive, ignored my concerns, didn't ask for any tests and was crude. He actually suggested I look into different sexual positions and just deal with it. He spent 10 min. max. with me.
I would strongly recommend Dr. Yhip because he communicates well and instills confidence that he is providing optimum care.
Dr. Trevino refuses to perform vasectomy on men who are unmarried or have no children. I couldn't even get an appointment, isn't this discrimination?
Very professional, knowledgeable, caring doctor. One of the best
Very kind, personable and knowledgeable! Wonderful doctor.
For a total of 8 months I suffered in agony with seriously infected eyelids which debilitated my entire lifestyle. After going to 4 opthamologists and one ocular plastic surgeon, and still suffering, in desperation, I signed into Pesetas Lane Urgent Care and was treated by Dr. O'Callaghan, and now my eye is healing. Dr. W. Kienan O'Callaghan......THANK YOU.
she is wonderful an so caring. recommend her highly.
Dr. Penn is first, extremely knowledgeable and professional. She is also caring with an excellent bedside manner. She definitely knows her field of study. I would recommend her over and over. When I meet other cancer patients and they have her as well, they love her too.
I initially scheduled an appointment with Dr. Park simply on the basis on how quickly I could get an appointment. Having met her, however, I'm convinced that it was the best thing. Never in my adult life have I had a doctor take such time to learn about my overall health and concerns. Although I assume her schedule was full, I felt like the only patient she had to worry about. In addition, her nurse was equally as friendly, attentive and highly efficient - truly a professional staff.
I saw him for a prenatal visit, and refuse to see him for another. He was rude and condescending. I had already been asked if I wanted to take the flu shot at a previous visit and opted out. When I told him I was not going to get it, he asked if I knew why they suggested we should. I answered, "because your immune system is not as strong during pregnancy." His response? "No, it's so you don't die." Well Dr. Nomeland I am 34 weeks pregnant and have yet to get sick. Aside from the latter he treate
Dr. O'Dowd is a wonderful primary care physician! She is thoughtful, thorough, and very reassuring. She helped me with all the needed referrals and medical direction in what was a challenging year for me physically. She is responsive/very easy to get in touch and very caring (remembers and asks about my family)! Would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a primary care physician! Provides excellent care.
Dr. Petrini is kind, knowledgeable and ALWAYS goes the extra mile to make sure I am comfortable with some very intimate procedures. I don't have the words to say just how good he is.
Terrible office staff, Vanessa was rude and condescending, will never return!
Super pleasant doctor. Very knowledgeable about my medical condition. Her advice really helped me get better and keep my eyes healthy.
A top of the line medical practitioner! Have never been treated with such kindness and expertise.
Dr. Plesons is incredibly compassionate and concerned about his patients. Very comfortable to be around and is easy to talk to. Warm and easy going demeaner. I completely trusted him with my care. He is non-judgmental.
Dr Petrini is a remarkably gifted intelligent doctor, who quickly diagnosed my condition and provided me with the proper medication and actions to remain in remission.
Awful awful Doctor she performed Sergury on my uncle and she obviously didn't know what she was doing. She then was fired from Sansum Clinic
Friendly, caring, seems to be thorough and knowledgable
I always felt rushed and unimportant anytime I had an appointment with Dr. Phreaner. Not very attentive or sympathetic.
The worst. She won't even call you back personally and just says no to requests through her nurse. Do not go to her
Dr. Mester who examined my nasal cavity and ears thouroughly, misdiagnosed my condition for the few visits I saw him last year and this year (2017) regarding my sinus issues . It turned out that after another physician ordered a cat scan on my continuous sinus problem, I had. a malignant tumor on my nasal cavity which Dr. Mester missed . Dr. Mester called my sinus issues as Acid Reflux and TMJ . Wrong diagnosis!! Be careful people when you consult with Dr. Mester. You will be misdiagnosed.
Dr. Moghtader has been my doctor for panic disorder for 14 years. Now that my panic disorder is under control I only need to see him every 6 months. I feel like he truly cares about my health. He answers any questions I have about how medicines works. He works with me on my panic disorder medications and keeps tabs on me with any medication change. I have total trust in him as a psychologist.
I have been a patient of Dr. Moghtader for over 10 yrs. I completely trust him with my health care and medical concerns. His pleasant, easy going demeanor makes me comfortable to discuss any situation or problem I have had. He helped me with an anxiety issue after 2 major surgeries and I am extremely confident in and thankful for his care.
Really nasty human being. Wrote things in my record that have never been said elsewhere in 30 years of treatment. Petty, vain and wholly untrustworthy. Would never recommend.
I sincerely wish I had never met him. When my ACT reached 50, he had me on five {5} SSRI's at once and then wrote in my medical record that I have a drinking problem. That I don't drink didn't matter. Now, I have to deal with this ignorance every time I go to Sansum. I asked him to change it, he said I could make an appointment, in a year. Nothing good came from my time with Moghtader.
Misdiagnosed throat infection
Did not listen to concerns Was not up to date on current hearing devices Shrugged me off stating there was nothing that could be done for my condition which was not true. Second opinions confirmed that there are many options to help me with my condition.
Dr. Miller is one of the two best doctors I've encountered in my 71 years. She gives her patients her undivided attention, and her medical expertise is impressive, to say the least. Most of all, Dr. Miller listens carefully, explains thoroughly, and cares deeply. I've come to regard her as a trusted confidant and feel fortunate to have her as my primary physician.
Excellent doctor.
Don't waste your time. Too busy to help.
Dr. Miller makes me feel as though I am the only patient she will see that day.
Dr. Meyer stayed on task and provided a very good result. Dr. Meyer scheduled several follow ups to make sure healing was as expected.
Easily the worst doctor I have ever seen. I was the first appointment of the day, and I ended up waiting in the examination room for nearly an hour before he showed. He ignored everything I said, asked me some canned questions, pronounced that I had GERD, which didn't even match my symptoms, and dismissed me. His manner was extremely patronizing. I found a new ENT who dismissed Dr. Mester's diagnosis as inaccurate and gave me a correct diagnosis.
He is very thorough, friendly, is very clear doesn't beat around the bush, so to say! Follows through, overall a good doctor that I would recommend to others! I like that he is open to alternative therapies as well!
I highly reccomend Dr. Mester to all my students and performers. He understands the singers voice and is very effective in his treatments. He is a caring doctor and has been known to see patients after regular office hours. He does great work!!!! We need more doctors like him!
In three visits Logan's interest in my several skin cancers is cursory at best. Never did a new patient scan - just asked what I was there for. I have a history of melanoma but Logan seemed bored and uninterested. He seems miserable in his profession. Avoid this guy.
He treated a problem that had reappeared after visit to a different doctor. He was very quick and efficient and recommended a follow up in six months. Friendly, not overbearing. Staff was excellent.
My 5 year old sees him and I love him! He does everything he can to avoid the allergy shots and as a mom to a little one, I appreciate that so much! He tried to take every measure he can to avoid putting them through that nightmare. He listens to any concern I have with her and getting her in is so convenient. I drive over an hour to his office because he is 100% worth it!
I have seen Dr Liebhaber regularly since 2010 and i have always been very happy with how he has taken care of me.
The worst experience with a Dr. that I have ever had
We have been patients of Dr. Mandel for many years and think very highly of him. He listens well, asks good questions, is empathetic, is very smart and thorough. He was recommended to us by two nurse friends and an ER doctor friend.
Misdiagnosed my alopecia. Terrible bedside manner. Avoid at all costs. Plenty of better dermatologists in Santa Barbara.
Really appreciate ALL my Dr.'s at Samsung Clinic and taking the time and listening. Appreciate Dr. Mariwalla's knowledge and her telling the truth about R.A. the why of and getting to the root of health issues and living healthy/abundant life in Senior (Golden) years. Refer my Dr.'s to those who are looking for great Dr's.
Dr. Lee has a great bedside manner, she really listens and has been very responsive by phone and messaging. She's treated me for two different issues and both times I feel that she was very thorough on the diagnosis. I would not hesitate recommend her.
I have found Dr. McLain to be a very good listener who takes the time to truly "hear" what I have to say. He knows what he's talking about and sends patients to the right specialists when needed. Overall he makes my health care experience that much better.
very positive experience. Dr. Loya was friendly and caring . The follow-up was prompt. I recommended this doctor to friends. I
This guy should find a job he likes better. Seemed like he was bored even walking in the door. I was mealy another face walking through his office, not a patient. Went in for yearly skin check up. Told me I was fine. Good to hear, but would not go back. At least act like you want to talk to me. Im paying for it. Just another in a long line of below average physicians who can do as little as possible?.Sad
Lack of qualifications. Not dedicated to treatment of patient. Unavailable when needed. Does not investigate causes of symptoms.
Dr. Logan does know his field well, however when it comes to patient interaction he is lacking. My visits with him have been less than 15 minutes, and this is after waiting 30-45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I try and best explain what is going on, but he jumps to the first diagnosis that comes to his mind and writes off a prescription. I do not fill them because I feel like I was improperly diagnosed and treated.
After waiting for 45 minutes (waiting room + exam room), Dr. Logan came into the exam room and didn't look up from his paper right away and then when he did, he didn't bother asking my name. The entire appointment was about 5-8 minutes long and the entire time it felt as if he didn't have time for me, and was trying to get out the door to something more important. He treated my questions and concerns dismissively and I felt not listened too and extremely frustrated. Don't plan to see him again.
She lie to me over five years . I needed penicillin for syphilis that she knew about but lied to me keeping sick. She says she doing everything possible but didn't care about my health at all. With a smile on her face you believe her. She so dangerous to the public. Samsung center and staff knew. My new Doctor confirm my syphilis story in 4th stage that take years to get to.
Very thorough, careful and thoughtful with my 92-year old mother.
Great personable physician always willing to help when you need it most...even after hours if necessary!!
I had a bad experience with Dr Leibhaber. As a new patient, I felt as though he did not take my life-threatening allergy seriously and refused to test further when the blood test for it came back negative. I sought out a second opinion at a non-sansum doctor and the skin test confirmed the severity of the allergy. I do not take writing this negative review lightly, but felt as though I had an obligation to do so considering this experience.
Dr. Bliss is an amazingly personable and kind physician. She is also a thoughtful, intelligent, and careful problem solver. I feel completely confident in her care. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
I saw Dr. Anderson in Urgent Care at Pesetas. From the moment he walked into the room, I knew that I was in good hands. He was wonderful: reassuring, caring, kind, and knowledgeable. Dr. Anderson expressed interest in me as a person and struck a perfect balance of medical professionalism and just plain humanity. He was funny, warm, interested in how I was. Truly interested. The x-ray technician and I agreed that he was a phenomenal doctor for those reasons. A sweetheart who will help you!
Dr. Anderson is kind, interested and patient. Really an excellent doctor. I wish there were more of him!
Best and most caring doctor I have ever had!
Terrific doctor: she is intelligent, caring, well informed, and a great advocate for her patients. Dr. bliss ins wonderful.
great, friendly doctor with caring nature.
Dr. Black helped us immensely in understanding and coping with our baby through the newborn stage.
Honest, compassionate and experienced. He treated my dad with such dignity.
Great Dr. For our twins. Knowledgeable and kind and has a great sense of humor.
He was patient, thorough, very informative considering this was my 1st visit with a newly diagnosed condition by UCLA Medical. Very comfortable.
Dr. Boyatt is too focused on numbers, without regard for quality of life. I'm not a statistic, I'm an older person not willing to continue taking medicine that makes me feel sick.
So far, so good. Takes time to explain things to you.
he is worst doctor!!!!, Could not identify my knee pain was about, just kept saying it is sprain. Worst part was he kept on treating just one knee but pain was occurring in both knees instead said lets focus on just one knee for now. Later stage my knee injury got severe and needed the surgery
He really knows his stuff and is able to check you out very quickly. He has detected numerous problem areas on my husband and some squamous cells on me. We have total confidence in his expertise.
Barbaric experience as a patient of Dr. DeRosa. I stressed that I have a strong gag reflex before my endoscopic biopsy. Dr. DeRosa not only ignored my testimony regarding gag sensitivity and a narrow throat, he didn't bother to put me under anesthesia for the procedure. Even his nurses were 2nd guessing his cruel & immoral decision to do the proc. with me wide awake, gagging, tears streaming down my face, and my contorting from having the tube down my throat. Never returned my email. Nvr called.
Not a great listener. Inaccurate diagnosis that don't make sense.. He jumps to conclusions without knowing the facts. Doesn't respond well to patient opinion or observations.
He saw me twice for an ongoing issue and assured me it was a result of my birth control (cramps) and a hemorrhoid (pain when sitting). I switched primary care physicians, and turns out I had a fibroid and a fissure, both of which required surgery. I am sure he is a knowledgeable doctor, I just didn't feel he took the time to really examine and understand my symptoms, and thus I did not feel well taken care of.
I was very impressed with Dr . Dosch. He was very thorough and caring. I always felt I was in good hands. Thank you,
I've been going to Dr. Dodson for more than 5 years now and have no complaints. He's efficient, punctual, and personable.
Dr. Dunbar is a fantastic surgeon. He has a wonderful bedside manor and truly cares about his patients.
Dr. Dresel-Valasquez was a wonderful doctor and I would highly recommend her to any seeking help in the OBGYN field. She was my surgeon for a myomectomy procedure. She was amazing! She answered every question I had before the operation. She was very re-assuring and compassionate. She came to see me while I was being prepped for surgery and as soon I was awake. She also personally called my hospital bed phone to check on me several times. She is a skilled doctor who truly cares about her patients
I saw Dr. Curhan for ED issues and he was helpful and professional, while not being able to offer natural remedies that he thought would actually work.
I've had a good experience with Dr. Egan. He's been helpful in assisting me to figure out what's going on.
I have experienced Five Star service from Dr. James Dunn during the visits I have had with him recently. First, I had a breast cancer scare and was recommend to him for an additional opinion. I was lucky as his approach matched how I approach issues that arise with my health. Dr. Dunn ordered more testing, 2 ultrasounds and a MRI. The end result was no biopsy was needed. Also, I had Gall Bladder surgery that went perfectly. Cottage Hospital and the nurses were amazing too.
I love Doctor Dresel-Velasquez and would recommend her without a doubt to any patient seeking high quality level of care, integrity from a provider, and exceptional one-on-one customer service. I have been seeking this level of care and compassion from a doctor for a really very long time and Doctor Dresel-Velasquez encompasses all of what I was looking for and far more. She is patient, considerate, explains everything in a thorough manner, and is always involved in our health and wellbeing.
Outstanding level of service. Professionalism at its best. Attention to detail and full explanation of my situation in plain English, answering all my redundant questions; a very patient man! Caring, compassionate, considerate personality. He is highly regarded and respected by his patients and peers. Under his care, I trust him with my health and my life, any time! I absolutely recommend his services for your orthopedic needs!
I had a great experience with Chad Dennis NP at Sansum Clinic. I saw him for a second opinion regarding my shoulder issue. He spent extra time with me reviewing my diagnosis and was extremely knowledgeable. He had a warm bedside manner and took time to explain my condition thoroughly. I would absolutely recommend him to a friend or family member!
Horrible experience with this doctor. Extremely uncaring and unprofessional. Did not call with test results, then called and literally screamed at me that nothing is wrong with me!! I have never had such a horrible experience with a doctor before.
Recently switched primary doctors. When Shaun saw my ongoing oncology needs, he informed me his role is not to interfere with these more critical aspects of health care, but to be complimentary for the more common issues. A few minor issues have already been resolved quickly and painlessly. He is direct, knowledgeable, and respectfully humorous. Staff is kind. No complaints!
Dr. Dodson was awesome. He spent a lot of time asking and answering questions and conducted a very thorough physical exam. He ordered tests based on my symptoms that other doctors had never done and in doing so found the root cause of some problems. He is down to earth, talks to you in terms you understand, and spends a great deal of time reviewing results. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Terbell has always been a friendly, supportive and calming presence, even as I struggled with miscarriages and then the extreme anxiety of a difficult pregnancy. She always takes the time I need, and always listens to whatever ideas or issues I want to discuss. She is confident and knowledgeable as well as compassionate - I can't recommend her highly enough.
Dr. Tobis has been fantastic in caring for my medical needs. I have had two different types of surgery over the past two years with the doctor. Both have been successful. His professional and personal care shine and are very welcoming.
Dr. Tobis was amazing. I did a lot of research for the entire central coast on doctors who did vesectomies and dr Tobis had the best reviews. He more then met my expectations. He is definitely the best urologist on the central coast. I felt no pain during the procedure and I can say I am recovering just fine. His staff was professional and very helpful.
Excellent specialist, quick visit, less than 5 minutes of wait time, listens and explains the issue, prescribed medications that do help. Overall, nice, friendly doctor.
Autumn is very knowledgable and approachable. She works with a person's issues with ease. She is overall very knowledgable in all things physical therapy. I am so relieved to have found her. Thank you so much Autumn!
I switched Primary Care Physicians to Dr. Trautwein based on several referrals. I was not disappointed. She is a credit to her industry. Trustworthy, centered, down-to-earth, knowledgeable and incredibly thorough. Compassionate and kind and with a nice sense of humor. She has a gentle touch during an exam and without a doubt, she is the best physician I've encountered in my life. She just has the whole package of what a doctor should be. I had to wait 6 mo's for an appt. but well worth it.
Since my diagnosis with invasive breast cancer in 2008, Julie Taguchi has been a champion for excellent care along the way. I value her medical and heartfelt care. My friend who is also a patient of Julie's tell her that she has to keep practicing, and are happier that she is a lot younger than we are. I also like that she takes a wholistic view of treatment. She has been an angel in my life!
I am very happy with Dr. Tobis. He was very good at explaining my diagnosis and what treatment was the best for me. I highly recommend Dr. Tobis.
Dr. Sovilj is an excellent and thorough doctor. I came in a few years ago because of an odd EKG from a surgery, which she helped me discover that and other issues and treat. Then she became my regular doctor and helped me get my cholesterol, blood pressure, and weight in control. She's very punctual and was willing to meet me at an earlier time so I can schedule an appointment sooner. She cares about her patients. I have moved away and wish I could find a doctor as good as her.
Very professional. Answered all my questions. Sensible recommendations.
Thank you Dr Terbell... For your kindness, patience and care. I trust you and I appreciate your expertise!
Knowledgable and caring young physician. Took time, listened and connected the dots in a way that was understandable yet not condescending. I liked him. I think he will treat my condition appropriately.
Dr. Taguchi made a number of diagnoses when I saw her for a second opinion regarding the results of a biopsy. I had all of these diagnoses checked out with further tests and through other physicians. All were negative. That is none of them were substantiated.
I have found Dr Sosnicki to be incredibly thorough, highly engaged, and personable. He listens carefully and gives you his full attention during the consultation, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new primary care physician.
Late last year, for the first time in my 70 years, I began experiencing urinary problems. Dr. Tobis gave me a very thorough exam and was able to prescribe medicine which alleviated my problem. I was very impressed with Dr. Tobis, his knowledge and ability to relate to my issues. The medical staff is the most friendly and efficient staff I?ve ever dealt with in my life! I am now being followed by Dr. Tobis and plan to keep him as my urologist for the future. I recommend him highly.
She was utterly brilliant, from our first appointment through to our unplanned operation. She was kind, patient, and offered the best advice at every stage of the way. We always felt that we were in great hands -- we were.
Dr. Tobis cancelled my scheduled vasectomy the day before so he could travel to France. This is unacceptable.
I would have preferred never to have known what a urologist is, but I feel so lucky to have been under his care. He worked with my severe condition, and my list of other issues, including coronary problems. He was accurate with every call, and I have completed TURP surgery successfully through his thorough care. I highly recommend Dr. Tobis and his wonderful, caring staff.
Dr. Talanian is a very thorough doctor. I've come to expect that sometimes my appointments are a few minutes late, but that is because she spends as much time as she needs to with each patient. She became my primary care physician and I will continue to drive the distance to meet with her as needed.
Dr. Terbell is the best! She has a very calming demeanor. Always caring and supportive, especially when I was having difficult time getting pregnant. Now I am 39 weeks along with a healthy pregnancy. She always makes time to answer any questions you might have and you never feel rushed during a visit.
Smart, caring, attentive - reasoned plan and suggestions for treatment
Talanian reviews your complete history. I never feel rushed. She is very attentive and knowledgeable. Also, she's one of the few doctors that still offers open access appointments. Love her!
I first came to Sansum and Dr. Sovilj approx 10 years ago when local doc could not diagnosis health problem. Based on my symptoms and after initiating blood work, she sent me to Sansum specialists for further evaluating and testing. Two years later, my husband had a similar experience with Dr. Sovilj after local doctors could not diagnose his illness. During a 4-day stay being evaluated 4 specialists, he had a surgery and we were on our way home, 4 hrs. away. She is our primary care doc!
His staff and practice 1. Front office staff is very friendly 2. His assistant is officious and patronizing 3. Requires a second appointment just to get him to translate results into layman terms. Dr. Sim-- 1. Doesn't seem to listen to you or provide adequate followup 2. Poor communication skills make working with him frustrating 3. Questionable empathy It took a month to get through to him after a visit for him to remedy an error. It's hard not to just give up.
I got an excellent eye exam and very attentive care from Dr. Simon. I will definitely return for any optometry needs.
Dr. Rodgers has been my guiding light during my treatment. Her smile is a beam of sunshine. She has carefully tracked and treated me throughout the past difficult months. I am honored to have her as my doctor. She is truly a special person.
Dr. Simon is knowledgable, cheerful, helpful, everything you'd want in a doctor! highly recommend!
Definitely would NOT return to her she is a very cold doctor ! If I could put no star I would . She is not compassionate with special needs children she is very cold . definitely does not belong working with toddlers she had no interest what so ever she was very rushy she gave us very dirty looks . I would not want anyone else to go threw what we did please dont take your child to her .
Visited Dr. Silverberg once, which ended up being the last one. After ordering tones of tests, he could not come up with a concrete diagnosis. Had to wait over 2 hours to see him. Overall waste of time.
Dr. Scheib has been my doctor for over ten years. I have always been very pleased with his care. He is a great listener and I never feel rushed with him.
Dr.Rogers listened to me, diagnosed my over active bladder and recommended a solution that worked! Other urologists I have seen wanted me to under go surgery to fix my problem. Thanks to Dr. Rogers - I am leak free without surgery!
Horrid horrible terrible. Will never return again. No bedside manner; unprofessional, demeaning to patients.
Thank you Dr Rogers for all you do! My family and I love you!
Very satisfied with the treatment I received. Would recommend to anyone looking for a qualified urologist.
It's not very often that you feel "lucky" to have been matched with a good doctor. I was fortunate to experience such occasion yesterday when I met Dr. Simon. I knew within minutes after meeting him that I was in the right care. His comments and friendly smile made me feel at ease and confident that he was there to do whatever it takes to help improve my eye-sight. Dr. Simon is the kind of a doctor that I would want to invite to our house for dinner. I recommend him highly.
My children saw Dr. Remington since birth. I came to expect long waits for appointments, but didn't mind much because I knew she'd spend plenty of time with us and we wouldn't feel rushed. She remembered details about our family between visits, was playful with my kids and always explained herself thoroughly. We ended up leaving when my son had a very rare condition that she struggled for over a year to figure out; a different pediatrician diagnosed it accurately at our first appointment.
We drive 40 miles just to keep her as our pedi. She is so funny and sweet and extremely thorough. We wouldn't trust our kids with anyone else. And we love the staff.
Dr. Shafer is a good guy. He answered my questions, did tests I requested and treated me with respect.
Dr. Powell listens attentively and validates patient concerns while offering helpful insights and suggestions. I am very impressed with Dr. Powell's knowledge, demeanor, and professionalism.
Top notch physician. Beautiful facilities. Outstanding care.
I have had a complete turnaround in my AS since consulting with Dr. Segal. At first we tried various prescriptions, which helped but had side effects. Dr. Segal suggested trying Enbril, which brought relief and allowed me to continue my active lifestyle. I have been his patient for over ten years.
Dr Remington is without question the most caring and compassionate medical professional I have ever interacted with. My daughter is very shy and has considerable stranger anxiety, but not once has Dr Remington rushed the exam. What made me decide to leave a comment was our interaction today. My daughter fell from the slide and hit her head. Dr Remington cut her lunch short and spent several hours observing our daughter to make sure she was safe to return home. Thank you so much!
Delighted to find this urologist. She made me feel comfortable and gave me her undivided attention during my visit. I appreciate her patience with my challenging situation. She even provided me with free samples of a medication I was interesting in trying. Super!
Dr. Polo always comes out of his office to greet me & thank me for coming in today. He remembers issues from my previous visit & begins each session following up. When I'm in crisis, he allots more time for my vis its until he's sure i'm ok. He's very knowledgeable & is always up to date on current treatments & meds for various mental diseases. I would recommend him to any of my friends.
He always listened to me and never made me feel judged. He approached my situation with the seriousness I would expect, but also with a touch of humor. He approached me and my life as a whole and took my health into account when suggesting medication (avoiding unwanted side effects like weight gain). I had absolute faith in his guidance.
I've seen him 3+ times now. I was able to get an appointment on short notice after an unexpected incident. He referred me and seemed really thorough. Dr. Sim listens and takes me seriously! He actually used a stethoscope instead of just reading my chart and spouting out an opinion. I really appreciate Dr. Sim.
Baffled by review below. Kids love the SUGAR-FREE lollipops. Helps the exam go super smooth. Office amazing for kids.
Very good doctor. Answers all questions clearly and throughly.
He always takes plenty of time with me. He listens to and answers all of my questions. I leave the office extremely satisfied.
This doctor should not be working with children, he was cold and not personable and had no patience with my daughter, he started to get annoyed because she was moving her head and asked me to give her a candy sucker to keep her still, I told him she doesn't eat sugar and had me give it to her anyway to keep her from moving, he diagnosed with astigmatism and didn't explain anything, we tried asking questions and he just brushed us off as if he was in a hurry and didn't have time for stupid questi
Dr Scheib has been my doctor for over 25 years. He is very thorough and knowledgable and attentive. He always spends as much time as is required. I have never felt rushed. He knows many of the other doctors in SB and always has a good recommendation as to who would be best to help. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Scheib.
I love how she talks to my daughter about her body and what is going on, then looks to me for clarification and follow-up. It makes my daughter more of an active participant in her own healthcare and medical processes.
I went to Dr. Silverberg for many years for treatment of glaucoma. He diagnosed me with ptosis and suggested surgery. I went to a second ophthalmologist who said I had toxic conjunctivitis from the glaucoma medicine I had been prescribed and that he thought he could heal it, but my eyes would never be the same as before introduction of that medication.
She is incredibly knowledgeable. The office is brand new and very clean. Everyone in encountered during my visit was helpful.
Love love love Dr. Polo. The best anywhere!. He cares, takes time to listen, attentive, knowledgeable and always ready to provide extra resources such has books, or health care professionals. Always leave his office feeling that I have been affirmed and helped.
Dr. Silverberg is kind, caring and a fantastic diagnostician & surgeon. He has seen us after hours many times and treats us like family. Everyone we know who has has seen him has the same opinion.
She has to be my favorite doctor ever! My first visit was smooth and easy. Dr. Rogers was understanding of my condition and recommended several great strategies for managing my condition. I've since recommended her to my friends who have more chronic issues than mine. They have also been very pleased with her.
Outstanding doctor. I have been very happy with her as my urologist.
He doesn't explain anything about possible side effects to look out for in the future or give advice about things to avoid or to do, which in my case ended up causing me painful problems. When I asked why he didn't advise me before, he just got defensive and said he couldn't have known. He doesn't take issues seriously and tries to schedule as late as possible even in the case where I had pain for 2 weeks and had lost 20 pounds, and didn't bother to refer me to specialist until I asked.
Dr. Tobis practices a wide range of general urology, but also has special expertise including fellowship training in robotic and minimally invasive surgery for most urologic conditions. Spanish
