We have no complaints. We've moved around the country and visited several endocrinologists for our son's T1D. Dr. Maass is by far the most knowledgeable and competent endo we've ever had. His schedule fills up quickly, so the scheduler encourages familes to schedule appointments for an entire year at each appointment. Some complain about this, but it does provide predictability for everyone involved.
Dr. Maass world class Dr.
My only complaint is his staff and their un professionalism and failures to return phone calls that require urgent answers. The staff treats the patients with very little concern. Only reason I can't give him a 5 star. He is booked out for 18 months. So you must schedule your next two years visits at each visit 6mos follow ups. He only takes children now no more adults. But you won't find a better Dr it's his terrible staff and nurse Mandy that doesn't return calls
Dr. Horine is a good listener. He is very thorough with questions and examination. I believe he cares for his patients and is concerned that they get the best care possible. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Maass is very knowledgeable, and he takes time to discuss with patients to understand the issue, and suggest best options to suit the patient. He is very conservative in selecting appropriate medications not to harm the patients natural immune system in prescribing any type of antibiotics. Very professional
After seeing this doctor for a year, I continue to experience same symptoms I began with. From the beginning , I have questioned his experience and knowledge of my condition. He sends me to other specialists who say they would refer me to an endocrinologist! So, what am I to do if my endocrinologist doesn't know the answers?! He is very nice. Even when he says to see him in 3 months, I am given his next available . ..6 months out! Three months always seem like forever, but SIX?!
After months of waiting & my child's dr asking for months for this dr to see my child, we went, waste of time, my daughter left in tears, was told it was her that she didn't have a problem. Blood sugar readings & A1C results don't lie. To us it was like you thought she was faking. Well guess what got a second opinion & my child has to be on insulin. Thanks for nothing. Now we travel hours aways to get her care.
