I couldn't get a word in edgewise. He was very rude and told me (despite my MRI) that my back was fine and that there was no such thing as a "slipped disc". I did not read ANY of the paperwork I filled out and wouldn't let me explain anything. The brace and injections helped but I will NEVER go back to him. He acted like I was there for pain pills or something. My MRI actually shows "Narrowing of the lower lumber spine with degenerative arthritis". My discs are practically sitting on top of each other but according to him I am "Fine".

Dr. Heim takes his time to listen and explain medical issues with his patients. He is friendly and professional. He cares about his patients.

dr. heim is very nice. takes all the time you need to explain your problem and answer your questions.

Dr Wolfe has taken excellent care of my knee, hip and shoulder for years prior to surgery. Good bedside manner and easy to trust.

Dr. Eric Heim is a very competent physician, spends a lot of time talking with his patients, and has excellent bedside manner. I have worked in surgical services for 33 years, and can truly say Dr. Heim is one of the best surgeons I’ve worked with. He operated on me today and I have the utmost trust in his surgical skills. Highly recommend.

This Dr was horrible he wouldn’t let me speak he told me where my pain was and didn’t care to listen to anything I had to say had X-rays done on the wrong side the told me I looked clean as a whistle but informed me he wanted me to pay cash for injections and prescribed mobic for my apparent “nonexistent” issues!

I thought he was a good doctor. But when you leave a message the nurse never calls you back. They don't like filling out paper work. And if they don't fill it out the first time. Don't won't correct it either. This does not do what best for his patients. Like he say he will.

His problems outweight mine by his standard. Therefore, concern for my complaints is non existent. He tells me what's wrong with me and it'll just get worse, but if he can suffer through his, I should be able to" suck it up" because I'm not as old as he is.

Do not let my 5 stars fool you. It's funny this website says Dr Heim is accepting new patients, unless you've seen another physician in the practice. No matter whether you were pleased with the initial physician, apparently you as a parent do not have the right to request to see Dr Heim for a second opinion for your child unless you can master several hoop jumping the likes of which are unheard of in any other practice, even if Dr Heim has seen and treated another child of yours previously.Shame

Dr. Heim took excellent care of my son. My son broke his hand; Dr. Heim reviewed his x-rays and determined no surgery was needed and placed him in a cast. Informed him of what he could and couldn't do with that extremity, was very thorough. I would recommend Dr. Heim to anyone.

He was a thoroughly knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. I am not sure why the previous review was so negative. Maybe an offhanded comment set the tone. At any rate, my care at this doctor's hands was extremely competent. I felt both heard and understood. I hope anyone reading the negative review will not be put off. This is a good, competent doctor who had concern for my care. We did two MRIs. He went back to make sure nothing had been missed. I would give him more then five stars.

Needing knee replacement,both knees,after blue cross blue shield asked for pier on pier call to appeal their denial..what would that take 15 min? was advised Dr Heim didn't do pier on pier calls.. so still in pain,about 3 hours sleep per night..and have to find another doctor that will take the time if questioned...office help is nice..but good luck getting through directly to his nurse..take mesg and call back..too busy.

I think he has been reviewed unfairly.... He is a tell it as it is kind of Doctor. Great personality and personable. The only way I can relate to the unfavorable review is that he has been a doc for many years and he sees many of the same conditions over and over so he has a tendency to skip to his well rehearsed summary of the diagnosis. It may come off as more of a speech then a conversation. My experience has been to butt right in and ask anything you like and he will gladly answer.

Dr. Heim was very attentive and genuinely caring. I didn't feel rushed in any way when going over my concerns. He put me at ease while we discussed the choices I had in treatment. I am very thankful for his patience and thoroughness. I would absolutely recommend him!

My grandson was injured at school and needed immediate assistance for a broken wrist. Dr. Eric Heim, was available and treated my grandson with the utmost profession and care. Everyone in the office, from the receptionists, cast room ladies and his nurse, took excellent care of my grandson. Would recommend Dr. Eric Heim, and staff to friends and family, 10/10.

Best hand surgeon in Arkansas.

I would not even give him one star. Not only did he sexually degrade me by stating no one will notice you have scoliosis unless you're bent over in a skimpy bathing suit but that wasn't the point of the visit. I had not seen an orthopedic doctor in 10 years (I am 25) and I have debilitating back spasms that leave me bed ridden days at a time. he spoke over me the ENTIRE TIME. He NEVER asked any of my symptoms. HORRIBLE. Worthy of a lawsuit.
