Dr. Judge performed cataract surgery on me 2 years ago and all went well. Recently had to see him regarding "secondary cataract" or scar tissue behind the lens. He performed a Yag Capsulotomy to remove this. I had some complications and at follow up visit tried to tell him. He blew me off and said I would be fine. Weeks later I saw another surgeon who did listen and I had to have the procedure done over because his was incomplete. Would not recommend him. 4 hour wait time.
Dr. Taupeka is very thorough in finding correct diagnoses. Both with my nerve palsy and most recently, opthalmic migraines he was spot on. His explanation of disorders and treatment are excellent.
I was referred to Dr. Mulrooney by Dr. Pendergrass for cataract surgery. I was told by Mulrooney that with the toric lenses my eyesight would be much better because it would correct the stigmatism in my eyes. There was a chance that I would still have to wear glasses but there would be an improvement in the stigmatism. After surgery my prescription was much worse then it was before.
Dr Mulroney did cataract surgery in both my eyes which went pretty well but afterwards he done a laser clean up of new replacement lenses an shortly thereafter I developed leakage of the vitreous material into my macular which created large floaters and spider web like trailers all across my vision I feel he missed his target and hit me retna causing the leakage it's rare that this happens but it happened to both my eyes under his care so I wouldn't advise anybody to use him as there doctor JS
Dr. Judge was my surgeon for Cataract removal on both eyes. Surgery was done at the Eye Surgery Center in Gadsden. I was impressed with how clean, organized and efficient the facility was. I had no complications after surgery ... in fact I was watching the evening news that same night. I would highly recommend Dr. Judge as a surgeon.
Excellent Doctor! I would recommend him to family friends. As a veteran, he was genuinely concerned and prepared to provided best medical care.
