Exam was confusing. Intern came in first. No introduction. Started talking about the way blood flows in the body? What? Excuse me! I haven’t even been given my test results yet. Then Passman comes in. No personality. Not good at explaining things. Had surgery (stent) and said things went fine. But, he was going to admit me after promising I could go home. 2 weeks later had to be rushed to hospital. Found out stent was 100% blocked. New doctor said Passman had not done it correctly.

Dr Patterson did surgery on my husband several years ago and as far as we are concerned he is the VERY BEST. Very attentive to the patient and family. Answers questions as they are asked. Very direct and that's what you want when you are uncertain about a loved one's physical condition. We both think he is the best and would refer everyone to him. We trusted him completely. Thank you Dr. Mark Patterson for taking care of my husband.

He's the Bomb... great guy, and his fellows and nurses are great as well. as for uab . nobody sits higher on my list as they do. great all around service and people.
