Review of Dr. Hasabnis

- in AL |

While I love my doctor, the staff is horrible. As a returning patient with a pacemaker, I called to schedule an appointment for a problem with my heart. After sitting on hold for 30 minutes I was told the earliest available was in 3 weeks, regardless of the issue. Then I was transferred to the nurse line. Waited on hold for an additional 30 minutes, no one ever picked up. The cycle repeated the following day with the nurse taking my number and saying she would call me back. No return phone call. When following up AGAIN the following day (3 days after the initial concern) I was told, "Yes, i see that the message has been left for the nurse, they'll call you when they're able." I have seen more concern over patient/customer care when making a dentist appointment or nail appointment. If i performed the way CVA's staff does at my job, I would not have a job. The utter lack of concern over a 29 year old with a history of heart problems and a pacemaker is appalling. I suppose I'm supposed to

Review of Dr. Reeves

-

Dr. Reeves has seen my dad for years. Ever since Dr. Reeves has moved into the CVA practice, his care of my father has gone downhill. We haven't even seen him in a year and a half, it's a nurse practitioner. I wait for an hour just to speak to a receptionist. I leave a message with the nurse with no return call back. I am on my 4th call to them and can't get a nurse on the phone to discuss his medication that's making him very ill. This practice is TOO big to properly care for its patients!!!!

Review of Dr. Koppang

Dr. Koppang is a warm, caring cardiologist that is very thorough with her patients. She nailed my Mother’s diagnosis when other doctors missed it.

Review of Dr. Smith Jr

-

I had been seeing a doctor at CVA that I was very disappointed in. I have been a patient of Dr. Brocks for an number of years when it was discovered that I had suffering from frequent atrial fibrillation. He wanted to keep me on medication and I told him that was unacceptable to me, so I changed doctors. I was told that Dr. Smith was the best for AFIB treatment and they were correct. He performed two ablations over a four months period and I have been making improvements each visit. I am alive.

Review of Dr. Jones

-AL |

Seemed detached regarding my health. After an invasive procedure, had no follow up, no report, no appointment, no phone call, nothing. Essentially disinterested . Changed to another MD. Could not recommend.

Review of Dr. Eagan Jr

- |

We had a negative inpatient experience with Dr. Eagan. First, I had to demand that he talk to me (after 2 days) about my father, whom I have POA. Then he walked in the room and stood with his back to me while talking to my father with dementia. I walked in front of him and explained I was the live in caretaker and he turned partially away from me! He was so rude and unprofessional. If he was my only impression of CVA, I would never step in that office.

Dr. Cox is an outstanding doctor and person. He truly cares about his patients and takes time to explain things to you. I highly recommended Dr. Cox to anyone who is in need of a cardiologist.

Review of Dr. Boogaerts

-

Does a great job explaining his thoughts followed by a quick drawing to show how the heart condition is occurring. He doesn't recommend tests just for the sake of testing. office visit was on time. Very good patient relationship.

Review of Dr. Hasabnis

-Hoover |

The doctor does NOT have any patience to listen to my questions, has a cold heart, and does not care much about patient's feeling. If there is zero for rating, I would do that.
