Biography: Dr. Fishman is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. Born and raised in South Africa, Dr. Fishman is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. He has trained and worked in several countries, including South Africa and England, before completing a medical residency at St. Mary's Health Center and fellowship at St. Louis University Hospital in the United States. He is involved in various research and publishing activities and was instrumental in developing various community outreach programs. Named as one of Denver's Top Doctors in 5280 Magazine annually 2005-2017. Dr. Fishman is an avid sports enthusiast and when he is not spending time with his wife and 4 daughters he loves to travel and run long distances.

Biography: <p>Dr. Rafiq completed her gastroenterology fellowship at the State University of New York in 2005. She worked at Presbyterian Medical Group as an attending gastroenterologist for four years before joining the University of New Mexico in 2009 to pursue advanced training in endoscopic ultrasound. Dr Rafiq completed her endoscopic ultrasound training in 2010.</p> <p>Dr. Rafiq specializes in pancreaticobiliary disease, endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, barretts esophagus, radio frequency ablation, single balloon enteroscopy and video capsule endoscopy.</p>

Care Philosophy: Dr. Madrid completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at California State University of Fullerton in Fullerton, CA. He went on to complete his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine in Irvine, CA. Dr. Madrid completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico, VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM, and finished his fellowship in Gastroenterology from the same school. Dr. Madrid has won many awards and honors including Honors in Surgery from the University of California and the UCI College of Medicine Service Award. Dr. Madrid is a member of the Colorado Medical Society, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and is a Board Member of the Crohn?s and Colitis Foundation of America, Rocky Mountain Chapter. Dr. Madrid is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
