I have been going to Dr. Oh for ten years. She is a great dentist. She does the cleanings herself (quickly and competently) so she really knows me and my teeth. Unlike some other dentists I have seen, I feel that I can really trust her to be frank with me and not recommend expensive, unnecessary procedures. She is gentle and caring, and I feel like everyone at the office knows me.

I did not have a good experience at this office. Office staff does not return phone calls and rarely answers the phone.

Dr. Oh and her staff did a great job for me for several years in graduate school, cleaning my teeth well, dealing with my awkward insurance situation (I’ve never had to contact them for her work yet) and scheduling new appointments painlessly. I actually have an unusual cleaning frequency on my insurance and Dr. Oh's receptionist Angie is one of only two dentist receptionist I've ever had that remembered it without me having to remind her each time. Dr. Oh gave excellent cleanings/examinations, too, remembering my personal situation and noticing on the rare occasion that things changed--for example, when my gums started bleeding during a visit (because I brush after breakfast and dinner and floss after dinner each day, I usually have very smooth cleanings, whereas I'm pretty sure a bit of gum bleeding is normal for people who don't frequently floss), she swiftly asked if I was under unusual stress (I absolutely was). But it's easy to take consistent quality for granted. I wrote this

I would highly recommend Dr. Oh. She is a very good dentist with a pleasant personality. Her office staff is also very good. I've been going to her for about 10 years -- she's replaced a number of fillings and two crowns. One time the crown from the lab did not fit correctly -- she sent it back for a replacement and did not charge me extra.
