This content was provided by Dr. Hersey "Dr. Hersey grew up on South Hill in Puyallup and graduated from Rogers High School. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University Of Washington School Of Dentistry in 1994. He then went on to a general practice residency (Hospital Residency) at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut in 1995, after which he received his Masters of Science in Pediatric Dentistry Degree from the University of Washington in 1997. Currently, Dr. Hersey is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pierce County Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Washington State Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He currently serves as a board member of the Pierce County Dental Society.Dr. Hersey's personal interests start with his family, wife Dayna, their son's, Zachary (18) and Ryan (15). They are currently in High School at Cascade Christian School in Puyallup. They continue to be involved in school activities and sports. Dr. Hersey also has a wide variety of hobbies. He enjoys building remote controlled airplanes, boats, cars, rock racers, and multi-rotors (drones). Gardening is another area of interest as well as photography and general tinkering around with stuff including 3D printing and building various gadgets as the need arises. One of his long term goals is to fabricate an autonomous electric lawn mower that will effectively take care of the grass—so cool. :)"
