Dr. Samuel Bailey attended University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine where he graduated Magna cum Laude. After dental school, he completed a two year pediatric dental residency at Primary Children's Medical Center. This specialized program of study and hands-on experience prepared Dr. Bailey to meet the unique needs of infants, children and adolescents, including those with special health care needs. Dr. Bailey was awarded Diplomat status by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry shortly after concluding his formal training by successfully completing a series of voluntary examinations offered by the board of examiners
Dr. Bailey has been happily married for 10 years and has two children: Camille and Landon. He enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the great outdoors. When not working or completing "honey-do's" he enjoys fishing, camping, and hunting. Dr. Bailey has been practicing pediatric dentistry in Utah since 2010. He enjoys working with children and understands that each one has unique needs. Dr. Bailey is dedicated to making each dental experience as enjoyable and fun as possible.
Our goal is to treat each patient as we would our own children. We strive to treat them with patience, compassion and with an understanding for what they may be thinking. We believe in a gentle approach are sensitive to the fear and anxiety that a child may have towards dentistry regardless of his or her age. Our goal is to help kids enjoy coming to the dentist and look forward to their check-ups by providing an overall positive experience.
Dr. Bailey is aware of the risk of poor oral health facing young people today and the lifelong complications that can follow. He is committed to helping prevent poor dental habits that lead to tooth decay and to provide the proper care to children experiencing dental problems.
Dr. Bailey is a recognized specialist and board certified in the field of pediatric dentistry. He dedicate two extra years of training beyond dental school. In his residency program he received additional training in the areas of: anesthesia and sedation, behavior management, infant and baby oral health, pregnancy and its relationship to dental health, habit cessation (thumbsucking, etc.), the role of growth and development and their effect on the developing permanent teeth. In addition, Dr. Bailey and his team are aware of the special needs that children require. They understand that going to the dentist can be a new and /or scary experience. They want children to enjoy a healthy smile!
