I’d been smoking for a long time. I knew it was bad for my health, but it was hard to kick my habit . This of course, affected my teeth; I lost some of them. None of my friends or family members mentioned that my teeth looked horrible, so as not to hurt my feelings, but John (a new very good friend), instead of judging me, helped with a solution. He directed me to Emeryville Dental Care to get mini dental implants. I’ve been coming to Dr. Rose Magno who fixed me up for the past two months and now I can smile without covering my mouth. My nice new teeth incentivized me to stop smoking. I’ve been cleaned from smoking like a chimney for the last five years, and have been able to eat anything I want. I smile ear to ear and laugh out loud. If Dr. Magno can do miracles for me, she can do miracles for you too. Highly recommended.

Dr. Rose Magno is just amazing. I fractured some front teeth and visited Emeryville Dental Care as a new patient on an emergency basis as I was in terrible pain. I was worried about the additional pain that I’d go through during treatment, but Dr. Magno ensured that it would be painless and this is what just happened. Didn’t even feel the shots! The teeth had to be extracted and a bone graft was put in place. And I was able to get some implants and crowns over it the same day so ppl couldn’t tell I was missing any teeth and it all looked very natural. Props to Dr Magno who is very caring, gentle and does superb workmanship.

I went to Emeryville Dental Care on the recommendation of a friend who also got her mini dental implant treatment done by Dr. Rose Magno. She did a great job replacing my dentures 3 years ago because it fit well and looked natural. Last year, I replaced it with snap on dentures over my mini dental implants because I couldn’t taste my food on the roof of my mouth so I had that top roof palate section removed so the snap on dentures worked real well. Now I just upgraded to replace my snap on dentures to one that is a fixed bridge, One that I don’t need to take on and off. I don’t need to remove my overdentures anymore because my bridge is permanented cemented onto my mini dental implants. Now I don’t have the plastic taste in my mouth anymore and my teeth don’t feel so bulky anymore. This was the worst experience ever. She charged me over $6350 for out of network wisdom teeth removal. When my procedure started to go wrong she had her receptionist suit up to help (who was trembling at the sight of blood as she did not have anyone to assist during the procedure). If you want to be scared to death during your dental experience and then get hit by 1.8% fees and re-billing charges, this is your place.

I’ve been a chain smoker for a long time. Although I decided to quit the habit after my daughter was born, the habit had already done a lot of damage and my teeth became yellow and black. Everyone, including my daughter, started to notice them, which caused me depression and insomnia. Would not tell me if coverage was in network. I have contacted the billing email numerous times for an itemized list of services rendered without a response and have not received my promised refund check. Also, aggressive up selling of services during visit. Dr. Magno gets my top score for deception!

Even though I’m in my 50s, I’m so glad that I made the decision to straighten my teeth with invisible braces called Invisalign. Dr. Rose Magno is wonderful. I have a dental phobia, because I had a few unpleasant oral surgeries in the past. I was always afraid to go to the dentist, but Dr. Rose Magno has been the best who put me at ease with her caring style and genuinely wanting to know about me. So I decided to proceed with my teeth extractions and mini dental implants. The procedure cost less and the treatment time was actually much faster. My friend went to Clear Choice and did her dental implants there and it took her all day to get all her dental implants in her mouth and she was not happy having to pay almost $1000 every time she had to get her dental implants cleaned and adjusted, which I never experienced at Dr. Magno‘s office. ClearChoice says they can do implants in a day but it was apparent to me that there was a lot more dental appointments to finish the work after just that one day. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Rose Magno. I had avoided going to dentists even though my parents had been taking me to this family dentist since my childhood. But due to Covid19, I lost confidence in my family dentist as he followed no strict protocol during my treatment.
