Dr. Mamrick recognizes that no two patients are the same. Each patient comes with his or her own needs and desires. He believes his role is to share with each patient what he sees happening with their oral health and provide them with the necessary information to make the best decision regarding their treatment.
Dr. Ron Mamrick is a native of Youngstown, Ohio. An excellent golfer, he attended Kent State University on a golf scholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1993 earning his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. He then achieved a Master's Degree in Physical Chemistry from Georgetown University in Washington, DC before attending the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He continued his dental education by completing the Advanced Education in General Dental Certification program at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
Dr. Mamrick has continued his education by participation in local study clubs and various continuing education courses. In 2014, because of his commitment to helping his patients obtain optimal oral health, Dr. Mamrick enrolled in The Dawson Academy - one of the leading international organizations for post-graduate dental education.
Dr. Mamrick is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Richmond Dental Society, the Dawson Academy Alumni Association and a lifetime member of the VCU-Medical College of Virginia Alumni Association. He also has had the privilege of serving as a delegate to the Governance Meeting of the Virginia Dental Association.
