Prosthodontists are one of nine ADA recognized dental specialists in the restoration and replacement of teeth. After completing four years of dental school, prosthodontists receive three additional years of specialized training in restorative dentistry, crowns, bridges, dental implants and dentures in an American Dental Association (ADA) accredited graduate education program. As a result, we coordinate your therapy with other specialists, when their services are required. This "team management" optimizes your treatment. Initial Visit A complete review of your medical and dental histories are assessed. Unless you are presenting for an evaluation of a specific problem, a complete charting of your mouth will be completed at your first visit, which includes: -Analysis of existing restorations -Soft tissue evaluation for any lesions -Periodontal charting -Evaluation of your occlusion -Evaluation of radiographs -Impressions for study models Discover your options with Dr. Kevin Lowden
