Patient satisfaction ratings and reviews are based on personal opinions. Before you choose any doctor you should take into account their background, training, specialized experience AND their patient satisfaction to ensure they are the right fit for you.
I began my dental experience with fantastic training from Loma Linda School of Dentistry and graduated in 2009. One of my most notable honors was receiving the Will Alexander Wholeness Award that is given to a graduating senior for demonstrating high standards not only in technical ability but also in compassionate patient care that treats the individual as a real person and not just a collection of teeth. Another aspect of dentistry that I've made a priority is participating in dental outreach both within our local community as well as trips to Mexico, Peru, and Nepal. I am happy to continue this tradition at APDG where we regularly participate in local and overseas volunteer efforts. I enjoy the variety that being a general dentist offers and I have a particular passion for patient education and cosmetic dentistry. Both areas can have a profound impact on someone's life by improving their health, happiness, and self confidence. I have no greater reward than to have someone smile bigger because I've participated in helping them reach their goals. After living most of my life in southern California, my friends and family were shocked when I announced we were moving to Alaska. I had reservations about moving until I interviewed at APDG and realized it was my dream job with its friendly environment, modern equipment, and fellow dentists that fostered a collaborative spirit of excellence. Since moving to Anchorage I have fallen in love with the beauty of Alaska that provides endless adventures of hiking, fishing, and camping. I have even come to appreciate the winter that offers ample opportunity for cross country skiing, ice skating and moon-lit walks. Other activities that occupy my time include caring for our Italian greyhound with puppy like energy, slowly remodeling our home, and most importantly taking care of our Alaskan born son.
