This content was provided by Dr. VonBulow "Dr. Jack Von Bulow, owner of Temple City Dental Care (TCDC), was born in Los Angeles, raised in the San Gabriel valley, and lives in Pasadena, California; he's practiced dentistry for over 35 years. And though one might reason 35 years in dentistry or anything else translates into a certain chronological outcome, Dr. V assures us his physiological number lands him somewhere between 32 and 35. Dr. V received his Bachelor's degree from Cal State University, Los Angeles and his DDS degree from the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry; he completes more than 200 hours of continuing training every year and is committed to being a voice for progressive care and informed patients. The TCDC practice intention is "Making a world class difference for others and making dentistry fun." Within its intention, Dr. V and Team are also committed to giving back to the community and sponsor multiple events every year. Dr. V has served on numerous non-profit boards, including Haven House of Pasadena, the first shelter for victims of domestic violence established in the U.S. The practice is also a Lifetime Hall of Fame member of Smiles for Life, an annual campaign providing teeth whitening at reduced fees with all proceeds going to charity-the current TCDC partner is City of Hope. Dr. V has been honored as a Top U.S. Dentist, and Top Pasadena Dentist yearly since 2009; TCDC has been honored by Temple City and neighboring Arcadia as a top business. In 2015, Dr. V was recognized for providing the top restorative Invisalign orthodontic case in North America. Doc is a voracious reader, a dedicated movie enthusiast, and exercises at a level some might deem obsessive-compulsive. He's also a totally unreformed USC Football fanatic. Dr. V has written weekly columns for local newspapers for almost 20 years; he's published two books: "Can we Smile?" and "Molar Jockey Memoirs." Dr. Von Bulow's written perspective is definitely his own, coming from the lighter, humorous side and embracing a fairly big picture. Dr. V asks, "Why not practice effective business, health care, and dentistry within a culture of mutual respect, love, humor, and compassion?""
