Dr. Lubbers' bio

This content was provided by Dr. Lubbers "Dr Lubbers grew up in Reno and has been in practice since 1987 when she graduated from UCSF School of Dentistry. Prior to that she survived (ha!) 12 years of local Reno Catholic schools graduating from Bishop Manogue High School as valedictorian while working at Dairy Queen and in the food department at Harrah's. She had not fully mastered the "curl" on the DQ cones, but she can make your smile beautiful! Subsequently she graduated from UNR with a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Med (with High Distinction) while enjoying working four years as a grocery checker at Albertson's and playing racquetball. She has studied sleep medicine, is laser-certified, loves to show patients what there is to see in their mouths with a digital intra-oral camera and likes to get to know new patients, treating them as friends. In 2005 after 18 years in practice she designed her own new office and hopes it makes people feel at home. It is one of her greatest pleasures to hear patients say they actually enjoyed their visits! She is married with no children, but enjoys the several nieces and nephew very much as well as camping and yard work (somewhat) with her husband, racquetball, reading, and cooking. She would like to do more bicycling. There is always an endless to-do list."

Our mission is to help you achieve your best dental health.  Cosmetic improvements are available and so very nice to see people enjoy the result, yet we will never push you to do more than you wish to do.  You are an individual and deserve to be treated as such.   Please feel welcome to drop in for a tour and a chance to meet.  We want you to make a good choice for your dental health ----- and to feel comfortable and confident in that choice.  We will be very happy to be your dental home!

I had made an appointment with a specific dental hygienist for many reasons. When I showed up for my appointment there was a substitute filling in. Perhaps when I receive the numerous reminders a notification of that change would be possible. Dr Lubbers appears to be very busy or maybe overbooked...Read More
