Dr. Howard Polansky graduated from Emory University with a B.S. in Biology, then attended dental school at Temple University, receiving a dual degree DMD/MBA. He became an Officer in the United States Navy and served from 2002-2006. His first year he held a residency at Great Lakes, Illinois ("the Boot Camp of the Navy") and was then stationed in Sasebo, Japan for the remainder. Today, Central Texas is home for Dr. Polansky and his two sons. Dr. Polansky keeps up with what is new in dentistry by attending national dental conventions and traveling around the country and world to learn the latest dental procedures, including short-term orthodontics for adults, oral appliances for sleep apnea, and conducting research to determine the effect of nutrition on gum health. Dr. Polansky spends his free time hiking, indoor rock climbing, playing pickleball, and spending quality time with friends and family.
