Dr. Baldree's Care Philosophy

High Touch Instead of High Tech Because of Dr. Baldree's specialty training in prosthodontics and his high standards of clinical excellence, many patients find that our procedures differ from those they may have experienced in general dental practices. Dr. Baldree personally performs many clinical and laboratory procedures routinely delegated to assistants and technicians in many dental practices. Prosthodontists, by nature, are more likely to rely on tried and true techniques with proven track records of reliability. They are less likely to embrace the latest technology until its value has been proven. Due to the special demands and precision required of complex restorative care, we work closely with only the best dental laboratory technicians available, most in other cities. We hope you'll agree that the high quality and esthetic results of such special attention to detail are well worth the additional time and financial commitments they may require.

Patient Comments (1)
Both my husband and I have to wait an hour past our appointment time in order to be seen. Sometimes the staff is nowhere to be found and we wonder if we have been forgotten. All three times staff claims to be backed up. Once my husband had to leave and reschedule due to having to return to work after an hour wait Without being seen. Very few available appointments. Extremely difficult to get service much less an appointment.

    Dr. Baldree says...

A prosthodontist is a dentist who specializes in restoring natural teeth and creating and placing natural-looking substitute or prosthetic teeth.  Note that cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry are NOT dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association.

A prosthodontist's professional education includes three years of full-time training and research experience in a university-based residency program--in addition to the doctoral degree in dentistry.

Prosthodontic training particularly emphasizes management and care of patients whose teeth and oral structures have been compromised by congenital defects or conditions such as occlusal wear, periodontal disease, traumatic injury, and cancer treatment. While prosthodontists give particular attention to function, comfort, and stability, they also are THE specialists in dental and facial esthetics.
