A native of the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Samuel grew up primarily in the Boston area. She attended Bryn Mawr College, near Philadelphia, graduating Magna cum Laude, and then returned to Boston to pursue her dental education at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. After earning her dental degree (DMD) with honors, certification as an orthodontic specialist, and a research degree (MMSc) in bone biology, Dr. Samuel moved to southern Vermont. She established Springfield Orthodontics in 1999, and then opened her New Hampshire practice, Walpole Orthodontics, in 2014. Dr. Samuel participates regularly in a variety of continuing education conferences and seminars, including annual attendance at the internationally-acclaimed Moyers Symposium in Ann Arbor, Michigan, which enables her to remain up to date on the latest innovations in orthodontic treatment techniques, methods, and technology. Outside the office, Dr. Samuel enjoys family time with her husband, an award-winning landscape painter, and two daughters. Their favorite activities include hiking, cross-country skiing, music, the arts, gardening, cooking, and enjoying the unique experiences that northern New England has to offer.
