Dr. Farrell is a 1984 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and he completed the two year Comprehensive Dentistry Program at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville. Dr. Farrell has earned the prestigious Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. This designation is the Academy's highest honor and is achieved through extensive continuing education in 16 dental disciplines, demanding hundreds of hours of study and hands-on experience. He has special training in all disciplines of advanced dentistry including crown and bridge work, dentures and partials, implantology, periodontology, cosmetics, oral diagnosis, oral medicine and TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders. He is certified in Invisalign techniques (tooth straightening without braces). Continuing his dedication for excellence in dentistry, Dr. Farrell has received an Associate Fellow from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Farrell founded Village Dental in 1997. Dr. Farrell is one of the first dentists in Florida to perform the NobelGuide Teeth-in-an-Hour procedure.
