Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Young "Having been a dental patient myself who had a filling, root canal treatment-twice-and periodontal gum treatment, I never forget what it was like to have a tooth ache, constant bad breath, and getting needles in my mouth. My own suffering is a blessing because I understand what it is like for my patients who sits in the dental chair.

I try to provide a less stressful environment for my patients. It means really listening to each patient's dental concerns and addressing these concerns. When I clinically examine my patients, I try to make notes of the dental conditionss I see then study the digital radiographs to diagnose and plan the availabile treatment options. I practice minimally invasive dentistry. I don't like to drill a tooth unless it shows that the cavity could not be reversed by using treatments that remineralize the decay zone.  I do preventive care and encourage my patients for regular twice a year visits. In the long run, my patients have healthier mouths and save money."
