Biography: Hello, my name is Deidre Lawrence and I have a master's degree in counseling and an LPC license. I have been in practice since 1994. I use a form of cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and mindfulness tools. I have been certified in anger management, treating anxiety and trauma. Recently in my practice, I have enjoyed working with relationship issues and symptoms of trauma and helping people move forward finding some peace and calm in their life. During my time as a therapist, I have specialized in using play therapy, filial therapy, and working with children and adults with impulse issues. Also, I am a supervisor of counselors and provided training working with stress reduction, relationship issues including communication classes, parenting issues, training foster parents, and the reduction of anxiety.
